Did you lay flat on your back after ET? For how long..They didnt give me too many restrictions..Basically take it easy and rest.

Skidoo, after ET I tried to stay in bed as much as I could, but it wasn't a strict bed rest, I would get up to go to the kitchen, to the bathroom of course, to the computer sometimes, but if you can relax and stay in bed, maybe read some books, watch your favourite programs on TV, those you can never watch because you don't have time!! , good luck!!!!

Hi Again,

Just thought I would come and check in with you all again, I should really go to bed but dont think I will be able to sleep!!
I have got my scan in the morning and am soooooo nervous that it might all be over again!!!

Mia - It is great that you have been able to start again so quickly, How come you have been able to do that? I thought there had to be a gap inbetween cycles or am I wrong!!! It is great for you though, I have got my fingers crossed for you and well done on the list, it is still looking great!

CasyP - I am so sorry that you are having a difficult time with the 2ww, you are over half way now, try and get some PMA going! I wish you all the best for a BFP!!

Skidoo - I am so glad that your transfer went well, having 5 frosties is great as well but I don't think you will need them, sounds like your re was pleased with your follies, sending lots and lots of sticky baby dust your way for a BFP!!!

Vicky77 & Suzhan - If your "follie dances" have not worked then I don't think anything will, you both do very good dances that surely they must have worked!!! I will let you both know tomorrow!

Cinders101 - Just wanted to make sure that you are taking it easy, you said that you were not feeling yourself yet and I just hope that you are not trying to do too much!! look after those follies and keep feeding them whatever they want even if it is pizza before 10.30am!!! lots of luck to you for a BFP!!

Well I might try and get some sleep now, my scan is at 8.40am so I will come back and let you all know what happened!!

Help!!! I am about to lose it!!!

I thought AF had arrived yest morn (right on time)....well i guess i was wrong (huh???). Just black clots for the last 36 hrs. Never had this before. I imagine my body is in revolt! I was supposed to start lupron today (which should have been day 2) but didn't since i never actually started. i have my baseline US/BW tomorrow @ 7am and i am SOOOO scared they will cancel me!!! That would be "nervous breakdown producing" material for me (i have been walking the edge lately as it is). Has anyone else had this after a cycle? I am pretty sure that i am overreacting, but I don't know if i can take a cancellation right now.

I know you guys can't fix this, but I have no one else to tell, and my i don't think dh can take hearing any more.

Haven't even read posts...will do later. Hope you are all well

Hi Cheekeymonkey: Thanks for your kind words. My FIL is in town and we went for sushi and walked around in Santa Monica and now I am cramping again. I do need to take it easy and be a grandma for a while..that was my last sushi for a year (hopefully). I had no idea how IVF would effect my body. I wish you the best of luck tommorrow. I hear just tweaking the meds a little can really make your follies grown in just a few days...please post tommorrow and let us know how it goes.

Hello Ladies,

WEll, was away from the computer for 4 days for Thanksgiving...and wow. Things are going good so far. I have my 2nd BETA today, my clinic was closed, so it's been 5 days since my 1st BETA, hopefully the numbers have jumped like they are suppose to. I am trying to take it easy, and enjoy the ride, but sometimes hard not to think every little cramp or pain is something bad. Trying to keep a PMA!!!

I had my 3rd HCG drawn this morning, I still don't have the answer, probably by the afternoon, hope is nice and high.

Viky, good luck on your HCG today, mine was drawn today as well, hope we stay nice and strong. I have too been tiered, as a matter of fact, I overslept my lab appointment today and I never do that. Other than that I have been feeling fine and been eating lots of pickles (no joke).

I also heard there should be no sec until you hear your babies heart beat...When I told my DH he was like: "Well nobody told me THAT when we started this little process..." lol

Hi everyone,

Well I had my scan and bw done today and these follies are just not growing!! they are a bigger than friday but still not big enough, so I have to do the same again, stay on 150mg and go back on wednesday to see whats happening!!!

I don't know whether to be pleased or worried, I suppose there is still a small chance that it might go ahead but I always look at the negative side and think that it is just not going to work!!!
Has anyone heard of this happening and the EC&ET still going ahead? I will have been stimming for 14 days by wednesday!!!
Thank you so much for all your follie growing dances but I am afraid you are all gonna have to keep dancing for a couple more days! LOL

Sassynlv - I am so sorry that things are stressful for you at the moment, I am not really sure what will happen at your appointment but I wanted to wish you the best of luck and hope that you are able to start as planned!!

Cinders101 - It sounds like you had a good day with your FIL but for goodness sake will you rest now and take it easy!! LOL

Vicky 77 - Like I said before the dances have worked a little bit but im afraid I need them to keep going till wednesday!! I just can't get this follie growing right, I either grow too many too big or too many not big enough!!! I just cant win!! I wonder if there is anything I can eat that will make them grow????? Angellica - Hope you are taking it easy and looking after yourself! remember not to do too much when you move house!!!!

Just wondered if anyone else has suffered from forgetfulness while on these meds!!! I seem to be loosing my marbles!!
First thing I did was leave my money in the ATM when I had just drawn it out, luckily I remembered before anyone else went to the ATM !!
Second thing I did was leave my keys in the front door when I opened it and didnt notice till a couple of hours later when I went back out!!!!
Third thing I did was I had DH bank card to get some money out and when I came to give it him back I couldn't find it, I looked everywhere and then thought I had thrown it in the bin by mistake and so I got the binbag and emptied it all over my kitchen floor, put some gloves on and searched and it wasnt there!! I looked around the house and eventually found it in my dressing gown which I hadn't actually worn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (weird I know)
These are things I would never normally do because I am very careful and usually double check things! I don't know what is going on but now DH is worried because I deal with all the bill's & shopping!! HaHa

To everyone else I am sending lots of baby dust and well wishes your way!!

Cheekymonkey, your forgetfulness stories are so hillarious, I guess your mind is just somewhere else, not so much a side effect from meds but us not focusing on anything but our treatment...Of course I will continue with the "grow follies grow" dance....., good luck on your next scan!!!!

sassy, how did your baseline go? Sorry you're stressing. I think a lot of women tend to have strange AFs after a stim cycle. The AF I had after my first stim cycle was one of the most intense AF I ever had. Lot's of clots came out and it was heavier than normal. I hope everything went well and you can start today.

Wannababy, I can't wait to hear your news. Fingers crossed for you!

Cheeky, your so funny. I think it's probably normal for your mind to cruise of the road when on these meds. I get tired and kind of space out now and then. I hope your follies have a growth spurt. Doing the follie dance for you.

Good afternoon ladies,
I'm sorry I didn't post at all but I had a reason for that. As you know, I had some spotting so I decided to stay home and not to go to work. Thursday evening I got fever 101.6! I drank tons of water and managed to reduce it a little bit. Next morning I went for my second beta test. It was over 200! Then at night I got fever again. I had to take Tylenol. All Saturday my temperature was 99.4 - 100. I took another Tylenol at night. I felt better on Sunday and today went for my bw again and to work. I'm so upset! How could I get sick being at home the whole week!!!! My chest is still congested. Today I got plugged ears. Now I'm afraid that my cold or watever I had is not over yet
What a bad timing to get fever and some virus! Right now everything is forming in a baby! I feel misarable
I'll post more later. I need a lot of time to read all your posts.
I hope everybody is doing OK.
