Hi everyone -

Ok, so I just got back from my OB appt and as usual it was sort of boring without a u/s. And Steph thanks for the heads up on the GTT, I did take the orange one and it wasnt too bad at all. Now the sitting in the waiting room for an hr before a blood draw, well that was bad (thier a/c is marginal at best) and I had to circle the parking lot 3 times before just giving in and parking in the employee's lot (umm sorry but there was no choice) But I am back to being a boring patient
Which is great, BP was 120/62, no proteinuria and they'll call when I get my GTT results, shoot I hope I passed it, I really dont want to have to do the 3hr GTT
The only difference is now I'll have appts every 3 weeks instead of every 4 wks - eeek that means I'm getting closer! And all she said about my swollen ankles & insteps was that it was "moderate" and as long as my BP is low, and theres no protein spilling into my urine thats its just because its too flipping hot, and I'm on my feet too much ( no surprise there lol) And she told that my fears of a cord accident are super low, but totally normal fears. I really like this OB but I swear they overbook the docs so much that she reminds me of a hummingbird and she's gone in 5 minutes. Now since this is a medical group, I have to see all the OBs, so next time I see the HR one, not because I'm high risk, I'm not but I know from their website that he's their HR OB, so I'm hoping to get more than 5 mins with him. The only odd thing is that my weight is up 1 lb, How is it possible that I'm 6 1/2 months pg and only put on 1 lb? I look huge! and I eat all the time! The OB said its most likely that since I started off a good 30-40 lbs over my normal weight that the baby is taking all the calories I eat. Weird huh? oh, so all I needed to do to drop weight was get pregnant then? ha ha

Steph - how are you feeling today twin mama?

Angela - Dont even joke about being red- flagged by your ins company, after Ashley, you should be able to go as often as you please! i'm so glad to hear that Gabriella is doing great, how are your migraines?

Claudia - where are you? we miss you around here!

Natasha - Yiippeee for being med free!

Babyluv - Ah, so now all the babies are messing with daddy from in utero and laughing at their game of hide & seek from dad too - its too funny, I mean how do they all know? Oh my, not even 3 yet and loves the mall already? oh boy you'll have your hands full when she's a teen! lol

Franca - I think every OB will give you a different answer on that depending on whats going on with you, as long as theres no bleeding, SCH or spotting I was told after the first trimester. When is your due date?

Gi - Good luck at your scan tomorrow - lucky girl you get to see your Kayla! I tried whining about no scans for a whole 14 wks, but nothing changed, I dont get another one until 32 wks - sigh

hugs & prayers to us all - xoxo

Katie _ Oh my, I got your GTT test days mixed up. Oops, thought it was tomorrow. Well I am sure you passed. I mean, you aren't having any symptoms of diabetes so all should be well. :) Plus, only waht.. 5% of pg woman get it? Not to mention you haven't gained a lot of weight, hardly any! lol That is usually a symptom. I am glad you got to choose and got the orange. It isn't exactly tasty especially if you are not a soda person, but it is better than the other choices. Your parking experience reminds me of something I had to do once or maybe more than once. lol Only it wasn't employee parking it was maternity parking at the hospital and then more than once I parked in the grassy area that seperated the front parking from the back parking. You might remember me ranting about that before a few months ago. lol I am doing well. Trying to take it easy. Hormones are-a-raging though. Mostly play time hormones, not sure why except to blame it on the cruel joke mother nature is pulling on me. I want to ask my OB what pelvic rest means to him because I have read that some docs say no sex, some say no sex and no O's and some say no sex, no O's and no nipple stimulation. Well gosh! So I think I need to know since even when I umm "help" Andrew, he likes to play with something. lol So I think I need to know if the nips are a no go too. Oh, we had a BJ's in PA where I grew up. Actually it was the last farm in the suburbs that my brother's friend lived and they sold their land to BJ's. lol My parents were big at shopping there. Everything we got was huge! Here though, it's Sam's. It's far away so I don't have a membership but hoping to piggy back with someone so I can get diapers. I would guess just a few boxes from a wholesale store would sufice, but who knows with me. lol They do grow out of newborn sizes fast, the size 2's and 3's are the ones they stay in for a while.

Franca - I agree with Katie, every doctor is different there. I had the SCH so I was bleeding. Had I not, my RE would have given me the ok for sex after seeing the hb on the 7 week u/s. Though, a lot will say not till after the 1st trimester because if you have an orgasm or even get yourself pretty excited, it can cause a contraction and no one really wants one of those when trying to keep a baby. Normal pregnancies this is fine, but since you have had issues in the past, I am thinking you might be considered still at risk? I would say, you can probably play but don't have an orgasm till 3 months just to be safe. Still, check with your RE or OB. I say RE even though it's a natural pregnancy because of your past history and his expertise. :)

Babyluv - Funny how doing something fun is Walgreens! Sounds like my life almost except replace Walgreens with Walmart. My DD is older now though and constantly asks to get her nails done or go to the mall for some girl time. lol It is different with an 11 year old as we have NOTHING left over form her. lol With me not standing clutter I have gotten rid of everything as we went along. New isn't a bad thing though, it jus costs us a little more. lol You are so lucky to not have to take a break from play time yet. lol You probably just got the ok too though right? Since you had that SCH? Make sure you get it in now because if you are anything like me, your hormones will start raging and you mill want it all the time.

Natasha - Glad everything is well!

Angela - So Gabriella is being shy? That's ok, you have another chance to confirm next week. :) Glad all is well, that is a good sigh of relief after all you have been through. You are welcome for the site. That particular one always has so much info so I like it. I also use Baby Gaga and Baby Center too. Sometimes I will read a few others if I am bored enough. lol

Gi - How are you and Kayla?

Hazel - Are you still in town or back with the family? You seem to be so busy lately it is hard to keep track. lol Did your dad figure out what he wanted to do yet? I hope that he is feeling better after stopping the treatment. I have seen first hand how that can really drain a person. My brother goes for his surgery on the 28th but he refuses to really tell me much. He thinks I will worry and cause issues with the pregnancy when it's already fragile enough. I wish he would just talk to me though, he is out there all alone in a big house. He married a girl in another country and almost a year later he visa has not gone through. There has to be a way to get her over here, she is a legal citizen but they aren't pushing her visa. I feel so bad for him. He wants to hurry and have kids before he can't and with possible treatment ahead of him, it could make him sterile. Hmm.. I should tell him to spit in a cup a few times and freeze a few batches. Though she has some female issues so I predict they will need IVF too.

AFM - Well, still getting BH here and there. I see the OB after my GTT or maybe before?? Anyway, I see him Thursday so maybe he will check my cervix to make sure there are no changes. I read that BH isn't suppose to cause cervical change but if I am told not to have an O for contraction pruposes then I assume they can make changes. He hasn't given me one pelvic exam yet, but not sure if he relies on the u/s for that or not. I am going in there with a bunch of questions this time. I have questions about my previa, about a c-section about pelvic rest. You would think that I haven't had a baby at all considering how much I want to know. lol I do feel like a new mom though, so much has changed. I had to relearn how to put in a carseat because even those are different then they were 11 years ago. Oh, I did get a call from the breast feeding coordinator from the WIC office. Man, they really pressure you to use your boob and nothing else. Saying that I can pump but that's even harder then just breast feeding. UGH! She said I could start pumping now even and just mark the first three days as colostrum and date all of them and freeze them. Well, I kind of have to ask doc about that since I might not be allowed to have any nipple stimulation. That can cause contractions too. The idea is a good one, since pumping and having the milk on the side I can have it incase they need to go to the NICU. I can always pump after they are born too, but having an extra supply sounds nice too. lol

Natasha – I am glad that you are keeping yourself busy but I hope not too busy. Yeah for no more shots!!!

Babyluv – I just love hearing the stories about your DD and DS they are so precious!!! I need to start taking pictures like you ladies have been doing, I want to make sure I have a keepsake for Gabriella years from now.

Franca – I am glad to hear from you again. I am happy your nausea isn’t too bad. My RE just restricted orgasms during the 2 week window following the transfer because of risk of expelling the embryo. But, like Stephanie said you should check with your physician just to make sure. The ticker can be found on http://www.lilypie.com . Once you got to the web site it will walk you through selecting a ticker that you like. Then go to your profile on this web site, then edit signature, and cut and paste the info provided by the ticker web site but make sure you erase all the information before [img] in the beginning and after the last [img] and then paste it in your signature section.

Katie – I am glad your appointment for your test went well. It is annoying when you have an appointment and no parking space. My RE’s office was like that also. If you didn’t get there first thing in the morning it was almost impossible to find a parking spot.

You are right about the insurance but sometimes they are beyond reasoning with but I will keep going until I hear otherwise!

Stephanie – I hope your BH aren’t too uncomfortable for you and aren’t increasing in frequency. It is so exciting that you are almost 25 weeks, how exciting!!! I think you are such a smart women to ask all the questions you can think of from your doctor no matter how many times you have been pregnant. As you know every pregnancy is different. As long as you and Andrew feel comfortable with the response that is all that matters, right? Believe me, when I go to my high risk OB it is like a full quiz or exam for him. I am sure he is used to it … lol.

AFM – Ok, ladies you guys have finally gave me the confidence to order the first few things for Gabriella. I was going to wait until I reach 26 weeks but I keep looking at the web site every week and I see everyone else is ordering things so I said I am going to think positive. Of course, I started having a panic attack toward the end when I had to confirm my order so my DH had to take over … lol. Well, I ordered a Graco car seat/stroller combination, and pack –n-play crib and changing table, and a baby monitor that you can actually visually see the baby in their crib. I think that is all for now but I am so nervous that I had to get on here and tell you ladies. I am truly frightened but happy with my choices.

Hi Ladies! Remember me????? Thought I would check in with you all.
I miss communicating with you all terribly. I read every now and then but it makes me feel sad to see tickers reminding me where my pregnancy would be if I didn't miscarry. So, I'm sorry for not coming around much. I'm glad you are all doing well.

I'm getting really close to my cycle. Had my baseline u/s this morning. RE said my ovaries looked the best they ever have and I have over 20 antral follicles! Last time I had 15 and got 7 eggs so this time I'm hoping for a couple more. If I get a BFN this time, it would be great to have a few frozens to try again. I don't know if we can afford another cycle right away and let's face it... I'm not getting any younger! I start stims on Saturday. I'm waiting for the call with my doses. RE gave me samples of Menopur... enough for my cycle. I've never used it before. He used low dose HCG last two times but said that this will give me a little more FSH boost along with it. Gosh I hope something works. I ordered my Ganirelix from London and it arrived in NY on 7/13 but still hasn't been delivered yet. I'm a little worried but won't panic until Monday if it doesn't come. Then I'll have to find a place to emergency ship it and pay twice as much. I hope that doesn't happen.

Feel free to stalk the heck out of me on the Summer IVF board!

katie - honey, I'm so happy for Chris that he finally got to feel the baby movements. Has he spent the last few days with his hands glued to your stomach trying to feel more??? Has that pesky letter 'V' arrived yet? Glad to hear that the GTT went OK, now hurry up please results!

gi - can't wait to hear how your scan went today. How did your shopping for wedding outfits go? I had a family wedding at about 25 weeks, and I was pleasantly surprised that I could still fit in some non-maternity clothes - it all depends on the cut of the clothing (Phase Eight maxi-dresses were particularly good). I booked one of those 2 hour personal shopper appointments at John Lewis where you describe what you're after and someone who knows every last piece of fashion on the shop floor runs around getting things for you to try on - no obligation to buy, which is great, but of course with service like that from someone who knows what they're doing, you invariably end up finding what you're after so you buy anyway. p.s. Cookies should be part of the approved pregnancy diet!

Steph - I'm still here, but not for long, lol. Thanks for asking about Dad - he is still midway through his 2 weeks rest off the drugs, he goes to the hospital next Monday to talk about his options. I'll be keeping your brother in my thoughts next week. Good luck for your GTT tomorrow. What, 6-8 boxes of each nappy size, with 100 per box? Sounds a bit overboard to me! I've just been picking up nappies as/when I see them on sale, I think I have about 6 packs of the newborn size 1 (about 30 nappies to a pack) and about 6 packs of the newborn size 2 (size 2 is for 9-13lbs I think) - once they run out, I can just send DH out for supplies, or order them with the weekly online food order. I figure with the way Zorba's growing in there, he/she may be beyond size 1 pretty quickly, so I didn't want to go mad on that size and then discover that I need bigger ones already!

babyluv - OMG, your bump is so neat, you look amazing. It's much smaller than mine was at 19 weeks and I've only got one in there!

angela - always so happy to hear when you've had a good u/s, although naughty Gabriella for not playing nice for the sonographer! Hope you have an uneventful week.

lou - how spooky that you posted today, I've been thinking of you this week. Sounds like you're going to have a really good cycle - will be keeping everything crossed for you!

AFM, I still haven't felt any BH contractions - I wonder if/when they'll arrive... I'm starting to feel pretty huge and more uncomfortable generally - on and off during the day, I feel as if I have this huge solid bowling ball in the bottom of my stomach, which I know is just Zorba's head, shoulders and torso! I had an elbow sticking about 1cm out of the left side of my stomach yesterday morning, which was pretty weird! It's a bit like living in an Alien film...

My Dad is feeling much better in his 2nd week off the chemo drugs so my parents have said they will have the dogs for DH and I so that we can get a week's break in before Zorba arrives. So we're staying in London this weekend to do a little window shopping and to have dinner with friends, then off to a lovely part of the UK countryside next week to have a real rest and chill out. I'm hoping we may even get a chance to talk baby names, but don't bank on it! I'm not sure whether I'll be able to track down a computer so that I can check in with you all, but I'll do my best... If not, I'll be back around from Monday 2nd August.

Hey girls,

Katie ah damn i was hoping they would give in a scan do they not realise we ivfers do not have patience after all we have been thro.!!!! Hopefully you will past your GTT test, wonder why they dont do them here.

Angela i am so glad you got the courage to buy something for Gabriella i am still nervous buying but i keep telling myself i got to stay positive.

Lou Course we remember you and i am one of your secret stalkers!!! I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you, i remember how difficult it was watching the last mummies site i was on with there tickers growing and i vowed i Would get my ticker back again, keep the faith you can do it again.

Hazel glad to hear your dad is feeling better during his break away from the drugs. A personnal shopper sounds great though i dont reckon we have them here!!! I am going on Sat to shop i will prob just buy dresses 2 sizes bigger than my normal size as there isnt many maternity shops around catering for weddings. Hmmm at 4 pounds already doubt if Zobra will be in size 1 newborn for long ah damn that reminds me i never asked how much Kayla was weighing today!!! though the OB did ask whos big head she took after....def. jasons!!! Hope ye enjoy your time off together before Zobra comes

AFM so the scan went perfectly and she looked so cute, wriggling all over but when he went to re-confirm she is a girl she got all embarrassed and put her hands on her bum to cover her bits  everything else looked perfect so GP appt in 3 wks and another scan in 6 wks when i will be 29 wks.

Lou – It is wonderful to hear from you. You are right; you are so very close to your cycle! That is so exciting.

I understand why you haven’t been back as much. When I went through my ordeal; I left this website for almost a year. I couldn’t constantly have the reminder of what could have been. But, remember we are all here for you whenever you need to chat, cheering, sounding board, our opinions, etc.

Please keep us updated on you progress when you are able.

Hazel – I think it is amazing to see your ticker progressing. You are getting so very close and I wish it was me … lol.

I am so happy that your dad seems to be progressing well. And, I think it is such a good idea that you and your DH are getting some alone time before the new addition to your family! Have fun and tell us all about your fun when you get back.

Gi – I am happy your scan went well! My daughter seems to be as shy as yours because she did the same thing during our last scan!

AFM – Well, the anxiety has subsided a little bit since yesterday. I am just looking forward to receiving the new items I picked out for Gabriella soon. Have a wonderful night ladies!

gi - I'm sure they have GTT's in Ireland too, but it's probably like the UK in that they don't do them as standard, only if you have a history of diabetes in your immediate family or start showing signs of gestational diabetes during the pregnancy (thirsty all the time, peeing constantly, rapid and unexplained weight gain etc). Or, in my case, a scan showing a Michelin baby! So happy your u/s went well, I'm chuckling at your little girl being shy for the 'camera'. Both you and angela have modest little madams in there! Have fun on Saturday going dress shopping - my tip would be to look for things which are A-line and which fall away from the rib cage downwards. I found a fair few things with that cut which I could fit into quite comfortably at about 25 weeks for our family wedding, and still in my own size. In fact, one of them I could still fit into at about 30 weeks and my stomach was huge by then... Good luck! p.s. By my calculations, if Zorba was over 4.5 lbs at week 31, he/she is probably at about 5.5 lbs by now, as I think they put on half a pound a week in the final trimester. Eeek! All will be revealed at my next scan in another 2 weeks, I suppose...

angela - I know you're still anxious about Gabriella, and I understand why, but believe me you'll find yourself at 33 weeks too and wonder how on earth the time went so quickly, particularly in the later stages! I'm so pleased now that DH and I started to get ourselves organised with baby stuff a while back, because the time is racing by now... I'm getting so excited about all of us ladies having our babies and seeing their photos get posted on the site. I can't believe I'm going to be the first...

AFM, part 1 of the holiday starts today - DH is driving the dogs up to my parents and I'm meeting a friend for a spa day. I've booked a mum-to-be massage but otherwise I think we're both just going to chill out by the pool and catch up with each other for the day (and no doubt talk babies quite a bit!). It's actually someone I met on this site early last year when DH and I were doing our first cycle of treatment, and she had her twin boys in February, so I'm really excited to spend the day with her! Back later ladies...

Hi Ladies!!! OMG this week has been absolutely crazy for me!! I have had three swim meets, no AC, and preparing for my championship swim meet next Monday!!! You can say this heat is kicking my butt!!! We had to drop Lincoln off at my in-laws for the past two nights cause it's too hot for him to sleep!! I am looking forward to them installing a new blower for the AC unit hopefully today or tomorrow so I can relax in peace :D

I have been reading the posts every night but haven't had the time to post so here it goes along with my updated picture for the week!!

Hazel-I can't believe Zorba is already past 5lbs!! That is insane!! From what I'm reading Flick should be getting close to a pound which I can't wait for him/her to hit!! Your belly is BIG but beautiful. So glad your GTT tests came back normal and I think you have a future NBA player in there!! (At least that is what my DH is hoping for since he is tall and a Basketball player!)

Gi-So happy to hear that Kayla is kicking around! I hear you on buying things....I have been searching websites but probably wont actually go register or buy things until later in August when I'm almost in my third trimester!! Where are you pics lady?!!? I want to see your growing belly!!

Steph-boy-would my husband love for me to have your sexual appetite!!! With all my bleeding scared I have been too nervous to actually enjoy playtime but he wouldn't complain if I were to want it!!! Hopefully the preveria goes away soon and you guys can get back to enjoying playtime!! How's the shower planning going???

Katie-how are you mamma??? this heat must be torture for Gracie....hope you guys are doing well!! I hope you post pics of your nursery once you have finished it!

Angela-glad you are feeling better and more secure about Gabriella! I know we are all a bundle of nerves so it's so nice to lean on each other in times of panic!!

Franca-I was told no sex the first trimester but I was also spotting/bleeding. Although my DR's never said anything about orgasms I read that they weren't good because it could cause contractions.

Lou-I am not a secret stalker-I'm an open stalker on your thread and I am following your journey VERY closely and rooting you on every step of the way!!!!

Sorry to anyone I forget but I promise you are all in my hearts and thoughts constantly!

Still feeling Flick kick around which is amazing and not much more to report. Besides my heels/feet hurting and being hot in the sun I can't complain about the second trimester!!! Belly is big and I'm loving it (not loving that some of it is also going to my butt and back of my legs though!!!) xoxoxo

Hello baby mama's! Had my OB appt today and glucose. I got the orange drink and it was just like I remembered, just like Fanta. lol So it was down in just 2 minutes or less. BP was good, 120/84. My belly grew a cm and is at 30 now. Though because of my heigt (or lack of) I guess I just look bigger. :) Ethan went and rolled over again so is back to breach position and Angelina is still breech so they are head to head and cheek to cheek. That boy is always moving around in there. He seems like he will be the ADHD one and she will be the calm one. lol Anyway, the previa is still there. You may remember that it started out marginal but sure enough it is covering the cervix now so I am sure by my next peri visit he will finally diagnose it a complete previa. The OB says he doesn't see it going anywhere at this point. So c-section it is. :( Oh well, not like I have a choice to try anything else. I am just scared that they will have to cut through the placenta to get to him. He did say he didn't see anything wrong with an "O" every now and then. He is more concerned about anything going in there. That means I can have a little fun. :D Also, path came back on my brother's mass and the sample they took was NOT malignant! They will test the whole thing after surgery but at least we have some good news. Gosh I could strangle the doctor for saying it was cancer before pathology came back. I mean, our mom DIED of cancer. What ever happened to a doctor giving the patient hope? My brother was so down and depressed thinking he might die that he didn't even want to tell me much details because he was afraid it would effect my pregnancy. They did tell him that it definately would have become cancer had he not gotten taken care of and that from the growth, it was there for about 3 years. Ok, enough about me, on to personals. :)

Claudia - You have been busy haven't you? :) Poor fur baby having to go somewhere else because of no AC. I hope you are able to stay nice and cool! Your belly is still cute as ever. My sex drive is a blessing and a curse. lol Obviously during a time like this, it benefits neither of us. But I do get to have a little pleasure here and there now, just can't go crazy. Shower is coming along I suppose. She doesn't want me to know anything since she is trying to keep as much a secret as possible but it worries me. I am worried she won't stick to the theme and get food I don't like. lol I can be such a picky person I think she should be talking to me a little bit. I have one of my friends calling her to try and help out with the planning. I am hoping that with her help it will be more "me". Plus, this girl isn't good at keeping secrets so I am sure I can get a little info out of her. lol

Hazel - Hope you had a great day with your friend! The spa sounds so nice. I would love to be a little spoiled and get a good rub a dub. Even Andrew doesn't really do that for me, though he is quick to ask for himself. So who's spoiled in this marriage? lol About the nappies, 100 only comes in the big boxes and we can't get those in a regular store. Noramlly I think it's around 30 per box. I have 10 weeks now so I am hoping I can get them soon. Seems I keep worrying about everything else but diapers are pretty darn important too! Glad to hear your dad is doing well resting from the chemo. I am hoping he recovers fast and gets back on his old self. :)

Angela - I am glad you are feeling better about the pregnancy. You deserve that sigh of relief. I am sure ordering the furniture and things helped you a lot there. You have things to look forward to and you feel confident. I started to get things rolling when I hit 17 weeks, but me being the planner that I am, I was planning at 14 weeks for getting things started at 17.

Gi - Glad t hear Kayla is doing great! Mine are always doing something in there. Acrobats is a good word for it. Now they are just going to get fatter and even stronger. Fun days ahead! :) So funny how how you have such a shy little girl. Seems the girls are always the shy ones and the boys are always the ones showing it off. Typical isn't it? lol

Lou!! How could we forget??? :D I have been thinking about you and waiting for the time to fly so you can come here next month with the good news. ;) Over 20!!! That's better than I ever got! I hope you get an egg out of each one and they are all mature and perfect! Not because you will need to try again, but maybe for a sibling? hehehe I hope you get your meds. I always ordered mine from London too. Love how much less it is there. Saves a lot of money! Sending you tons and bunches of baby dust! Keep popping in and letting us know how your cycle is going! You will be back in here soon permanently anyway. :)

Katie - What have you been up to? Not posting quite as often... you aren't doing too much now are you?? ;)

Steph - Ok, so great news about the "O", not so fun about the previa still there. blah...the good thing is, they know about it and it won't be a surprise when it comes times for delivery, like it is for so many women. You are getting close mama...10 more weeks! I can't even believe it! And how AWESOME about your brother??!! SOOO happy for you all!

Lou - I LOVE seeing you on here and will definitely be checking out your thread!

Claudia - I feel like a total blob next to you! If I walk around for more than 30 min my back starts killing me. You are doing awesome and look beautiful!

Hazel - Enjoy your time off...sounds fabulous. And some women never feel BH contractions, so I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't, or at least not until the end.

AFM - Had my u/s today and reconfirmed they are girls (they are :D ). Everything looks perfect and they are 13 & 14oz. My cervix is also well over 4 (they like to see at least 3), so that was a relief. The u/s itself wasn't as fun because the tech said, "Let me get the pics for the doctor first and then I'll turn the screen." WHAT??! She was really nice, but that totally annoyed me. I only saw the girls for a few minutes out of the hour long scan (lots of great shots of their lady parts, one good profile, the rest pretty crappy). I wish I could go back to having them done at my OB's office since they have a nice big TV on the wall for me to see what's going on, but all of my u/s from now on (I believe) will be with the maternal/fetal doc. Oh well, at least they are looking at everything. My next u/s is in 4 weeks. Oh, and they are both breech still (well, A is breech, B is folded over herself...so I guess she'll be my dancer?)

I haven't heard anything about my GTT, which makes me think I passed it (especially since my girls are a little on the smaller side), but I am going to call my OB tomorrow just to see if they got the results in.

OK so I wrote this huge post last night and then our internet went out from a storm. So let me try again...

Stephanie- I am sooooooo happy to hear about your brother. I'm so happy it was non malignant. Good for him to get it taken care of. How scary! With cancer in the family you always have to be extra careful. My dad died of cancer so I definitely know where you are coming from. OH and yeah for a little play time!!!! We still aren't allowed until the end of the first trimester since I had bleeding at 6 weeks. Of course RE made sure that the point was made that I can't have play time or any Os but that I could please DH all I want. UM...yeah, I'll get right on that.

Katie- I agree about the orange drink. I had to do a GTT test of some sort a few weeks ago. They wanted it with my initial blood work for the OB. I really didn't mind it at all. Sorry you are having such problems with Pottery Barn. Did you know there is a PB outlet down in Lancaster, PA? They have tons of stuff from PB kids/baby too. Maybe a road trip for you and DH?

Hazel- Have fun on your spa trip! How wonderful!!! What part of the UK do you live in? And why can't cookies be part of an approved diet? We could add raisins to them and then you get fruit right???

Angela- I'm so happy you ordered things for Gabriella. I'm sure it's scary but I'm glad you took that step. Don't worry...deep breaths. :)

AFM- Everyone's baby bumps are soooooooooooo cute! I can't wait till mine looks like that! I have been flying my tail off so I have been reading but not posting. Actually I was supposed to be in Birmingham, England right now but I was so completely exhausted yesterday after 6 days of flying that I had to call in sick. I was getting ready for work and I was so dizzy I could hardly stand. I figured that would not be good to be on a plane for the next 8 hours.
I have my first OB next week. I'm super excited. I can't wait to meet him. I have heard good things about him from a friend who he delivered both of her girls. I also booked my sequential screening tests for Aug 4. Did anyone else do this? I know they aren't as reliable as a CVS or Amnio but insurance covers the test so they want me to get it.
I guess that's it. I hope everyone is having a great week!

I read all the posts... every day but I just don't have the mental capacity or time to keep up on the personals. I'm love hearing about all the trials of advanced pregnancy... one thing that I notice here from the regular pregnancy boards, is that you guys all love every moment of pregnancy.. there is rarely any real 'complaining'.... even with the discomfort and difficulty you all endure.

I am going for my first ultrasound tomorrow. You will all remember how nervous you were.............. I'm excited and just can't wrap my mind around the fact that there might be a baby in there, with a heartbeat and everything. I am still taking pregnancy tests every couple of days and they are ridiculously dark in a stupidly short time. That's no comfort as I know a blighted ovum will still produce hCG. sigh...

Well.... tomorrow at 3 I will get the answers. Wish me luck!

Hi eveyone

Jeez - you all had another typing fest I see, now I'll have to try and catch up again. I got it into my head yesterday morning that I had to have meatballs for dinner, umm no I dont usualy think of dinner first thing in the morning, but I'm thinking that food cravings are nothing more than the babies way of ordering room service. ha ha. you know like pull the cord and demand room service requests? So then I had to make marinara from scratch too, and what the heck, if I'm already going to be in the kitchen all day, lets go all the way and do pasta too - what was I thinking? I ended up in the kitchen most of the day, then complaining that once again no surprise my ankles were swollen. it turned out pretty good, but i wont be taking on homemade everything again anytime soon  I think tonight, pizza. Chris put the crib together without any drama, so yay for that, i was thinking it would take forever but went pretty quick, so today he'll do the dresser, I really cant wait to see how it will look since its so hard to picture when you're looking at pieces in boxes, isnt it?

Steph - - I'm so happy to hear that your brother is fine, but whoa did that that Dr need to say 'malignant before asctually checking? umm thanks Dr good thing for causing all that stress for nothing, right? I mean looks malnignant are IS malignant are 2 totally separate things - grrr! But on a high note, yay for some play time! I know thats been bugging you, and you know that can only make andrew happy too  So c- section, huh? well there are some benifits to that, so lets just focus on the benefit to the babies, but I am hoping that you get as many pain meds as you need for afterwards. Yes, I do remember your parking dillema a few months back, this place says their staff parks across the street, and has to always be early to work because the parking is so bad. That sounds fun? guess the medical group found a way to ensure all staff is always early, though - lol. Awww, Angelina & Ethan are cheek to cheek now, thats so sweet!

Angela - I'm glad that you've been relaxed enough to begin shopping, hooray for getting to fun part, right? but the baby stores for me at least are a bit overwhelming and I can stand there debating which choices forever! Oooh, those video monitors are suppossed to be fantastic!

Hazel - Zorba at 5.5 lbs already? Umm, thats starting to sound like ouch! lol, I wonder how come I've not gotten even 1 baby measurement yet? perhaps beacause they have me on the "never mind" list for u/s? ha ha . Ahhh, yes, pottry barn and the fabric letter V, well in the past 2 days I have received not just the one they goofed up on, but ANOTHER one came yesterday - WTH?? oh, yes, all the smart people work there, I see. If anyone needs a letter V, I've got an extra... I loved your story of an elbow just sticking out of your stomach, it was too funny to think of, I cant wait until that happens to me too. Was it really cleasr enough to tell that it was an elbow? Have a wonderful week & weekend just relaxing in the country, get all the rest you can, while you still can... xoxox

Gi - Maybe they just call it something different? Or maybe they just test you for it if you show a tendency towards it? its done between 25-28 weeks so maybe you dont know its because it isnt scheduled yet? Awww, Kayla covering her bum! Too cute! And hey! tell dr not to make jokes about Kayla having a big head - ow, ow, ow!

Claudia - Aw, honey to have had your a/c go down during this heat? ugh I'm so sorry. Poor Lincoln! gracie only wants to stay out for 10 minutes at a timein this heat, she cant deal with it either. Yes, I will post nursery pics when it all looks like a nursery finally. I'm eager to get it done because I have an awful lot of baby care books to read! i'm feeling rather clueless! And even at 20weeks you still look slender and gorgeous!

Babyluv - Ugh, u/s techs that dont let show you the screen suck, dont they? I guess they dont realize that we live for this stuff? Yes, i'd think that no news is good news as far as Dr's offices go, but call them if you feel worried, i would too. How are you feeling?

Pa-FA - I hope your dizzy spells subside soon. I only had 2 of them myself but i was worried that it would happen while I was driving. Good luck with your first OB appt, I was disappointed with mine, but after being under dr Rose's watchful eye, it would have been hard for any OB to live up to that level of care, right? I did the NT scan & sequential screening at 13 weeks, , but I had a bad u/s tech and only got to see the screen twice, you should enjoy it, it lasts for like an hour!

Sonya - I cant wait to hear how your u/s went later! I know how rough its been for you to wait so long for it. Yep, you are right, therer arent too many complaints around here, likely because we're all so darn grateful to finally be here and pregnant. i'll be checking in all day for your news - xoxo

Ok I feel like a wrote a book! we're off to BRU to look at bedding and crib matresses today, now that the cribs together finally! - xoxoxo
