Hi Ladies! You are all sooo good and cheerful and so mindful, i appreciate the kindness and warmth you all are giving to me.. ianmichael, michelle, sari, caroline (wishful) babyluv and all of my march/april buddies. Big hugs and kisses to all of you. Especially to hazel who introduce me to this thread.

Sorry for late reply, im too scared with this rollercoaster im going through! Yes, Im 5 weeks pregnant now, conceived naturally after failed IVF last April without living/frozen embryo.

I've been to Fertility Unit today for evaluation of my failed IVF. I told doc I've been to GP last Monday for late AF and test showed to be positive, she is equally surprised after all the detailed explanation of failed IVF she recommends another laparoscopy and ligation of left tube.

I saved early morning urine and she did a repeat preg test, double lines showed up, she quickly did a scan but sac wont showed up yet, i have left hydrosalphinx, rt tube removed following ectopic pregnancy. Doc would like to outrule suspected ectopic pregnancy. I had sexual contact with DH this am (silly me) after he pulled out his thing blood showed up. I wore pad all day but no staining. She said I would miscarried if I would. She did hcg level as well if the level is 1000 and above it would definitely be in uterus and if it double up in 2 days time. What's the normal hcg level?I know Michelle you mention a website sometime ago. (funny to see my name on the list BFN... thank you Michelle you never failed on that job)

I feel ambivalent at the moment... can't be too happy for worrying.. if it's not in my uterus.. it would mean another operation.

Yet, we witness another miracle story. I thank God for all the bleesings He is giving me. And I pray all may go well! I really appreciate you all for being around! You help me out... though im shaky and petrified with everything! Goodluck to all your personal endevors. Only God knows everything and He works in mysterious ways!

with love,

KLINE

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hi ladies! im home finally, sad to say i had an ectopic pregnancy, i had an emergency laparotomy last monday (as they have to do it straight away without delay- i had no pain but with slight pinkish vaginal discharge), difficult surgery it took 5 hrs due to multiple adhesions, i even had a nipped in my bowel about 1 cm. so my obs gynae doc have to call for surgeon to close the bowel. i had a tough recovery, im fully dosed for 2 days with morphine pump, tachycardic between 145-125 post op and spikes of temperature, my antibiotics do me no good, worst i should say im allergic to penicillen they put me on metronidazole 500mg tds, erythromycin 1g tds, and gentamcyin 240mg od.. when i woke up im too nauseated, vomitting and diarrhea. even regular pain killers made me nauseated (paracetamol and tramadol)... i couldnt eat.

i feel better now at home after 6 days in the hospital, eating small portion, as the meds irritate my gastic lining, i just take gaviscon and zoton for hyperacidity, with small cramps.

i thank God all is over now!

no more tubes.. no more ectopic.. i hope my third tube works next time! i'll keep you all posted!

with love,

KLINE

Frozen cycle

Post by milpagan »

Hi ladies it's been a while since I've written. I ended up with OHSS & boy was it PAINFUL!! They were able to save & freeze 2 embryos & today they were thawed out PERFECT and are inside me right now :D When the doctor told that the embryos were "perfect" I just about cried. Now I need patience to wait until July 8th to find out if I'm pregnant.

This might be a silly question but could you take a home pregnancy test after a frozen cycle transfer? I've heard with a fresh cycle it wont work b/c of the hcg injection but since I didn't have to use hcg this time I'm wondering if a home test would work and how soon.

Many blessings to you all
Milly
