Hello Ladies:

Justine: The glucose results were good. Mine was 112 and the normal range is 65 - 139. My iron level was in the normal range also. I am off work for this semester but will start teaching two internet classes Jan. 8th. These can be taught from my home computer, so I will not have to drive anywhere and stand and teach.....yeah!!

It is good to hear that your are doing well.

Jo: I hope Ellie is progressing nicely. Keep us posted when you have time.

Zoe: How are things with Ollie? Hopefully, you are getting into a routine.

Hello to Vita, Kareen and Hayley.

Hello Ladies,

Its been a long time yet again since i have posted.. well after my doctors visit last week, i was sent directly to the hospital for permanent hospital bed rest... my cervix has shortened to 1cm and i am contracting 6-10 times an hour with the medication. Things are really scary now a days only because im not sure when these babies will decide they have had enough of the tightening of my belly..they are all above 3 lbs from the last scan yesterday but i have heard those things are not always accurate they are off +/- 1lb so at this point i just sit and wait... I feel like i am intituitionalized and am going to loose my mind soon enough... Although i should be happy im not i think things are begining to get to me.. I feel selfish for even saying this.. But im starting to loose weight because i just cant eat anything anymore, one bite and i am stuffed, i feel like one of their feet are in my throat. i just pray to God he will allow me to reach at least 32 weeks to give these little lambs a better chance at life.

To all of you ladies i wish you and your families a Merry Christmass... i hope all of you ladies will reach your goals...

Best wishes,
Vita

Vita:

Just take it easy in the hospital. I'm sure that your little lambs will come when they are strong enough to make it. My doctor told me at my last visit that Andrew is far enough along, if he were born now, that he would not have any lasting health problems. You are further along than me, so just try to relax. It is difficult for me to eat a large meal also. Many times, I will just have cereal for dinner, as nothing else sounds good.

Take care all,
Tammy

Hello Ladies:

Jo: I hope you are doing well and that little Ellie is gaining weight and getting stronger every day. I have been praying for your precious little one.

Zoe: I hope you have a settled into a nice routine with little Ollie.

Justine: Congrats on reaching full term !!!!!!! Have a wonderful Christmas with Sophie at your parents. We are going to my parents on Christmas day. They only live 1 hour drive from us.

I was excited that I finally reached 30 weeks!!!!! I can't wait to see the little guy this coming Thursday, as we have a scan scheduled. Hopefully, the doctor should be able to tell us how big Andrew is at the present. Last week he was > 3 lbs.

Vita: I hope you are resting comfortable in the hospital with your babies.

Hayley, Heather and anyone that I have missed .......I hope you are all doing well.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to all!!!!!!!!

Hi Girls,

Boy is life busy!!! Ollie still not feeding completely by himeself yet, so we're top him up with syringes of milk - personallly I think he's lazy and laid back - likes things to be done for him!!! LOL Anyway, everything works oon 3 hour windows at the moment so I thought I'd touch base with you all when I had the chance...

Tammy - things sound good, my friend. Have a lovely Christmas day and a good scan on Thursday. The time will pass quickly and you'll soon have wee Andrew in your arms...

Vita - Don't worry about things. You are doing good girl and those babes will be fine. The contractions are rubbish at this stage I know, but every day you hang on in there is even better. Just rest your mind too, my friend. The stir crazy feelling will soon be at an end and the wee ones will be here - happy healthy and screaming the place down  You take care.

Justine - Full term - hurrah :D :D :D Have a great time at your parents and and peaceful day - you be telling that baby to stay put for a couple of days longer at least. LOL

Heather - good to see you back. Hope you are keeping well and have a good holiday...

Kareen - OMG - 4lb 6oz each - well done you. You're doing great girlie - can't imagine what it's like to be carrying twins  . Glad things are going ok - make sure you relax over Christmas... Take care.

Jo - hope things are ok with you and you're looking after yourself and not doing too much.

To everyone else - have a fantastic festive period - all our dreams are coming true and Santa has not even been yet!!!

Hello Ladies:

Justine: So glad to hear that you had a wonderful Christmas with Sophie. We had a very nice Christmas too. We were a little disappointed that we did not get any snow.............we had rain instead. I can't wait to see Andrew on Thursday. I am bringing DH to the appt. with me, as he is excited as well.

Zoe: I'm so glad to hear things are going well with Ollie. I'm hoping that I can breastfeed Andrew, but you never know. I'm new at this, so I will try the breastfeeding and see if he takes to it.

Heather: You are right............2007 will be a big, busy year for all of us.

Jo: I hope you are doing well. When you get a chance, please update us on your little Ellie's progress. I have been thinging of you a lot.

Hello to Vita, Kareen, Hayley and anyone else that I may have missed.

We are staying in for New Year's Eve this year. I feel like a beached whale these days. It is difficult to get up and down. I'm worried about the next two months. I'm hoping that I don't get too much bigger.

Happy New Year's to All,
Tammy

Hello ladies

You are all doing so brilliantly, I'm so proud of you all.

I've posted an update on Ellie, she's doing well. Thank you all for thinking of us, it means so much.

I hope you all had a wondeful christmas. We must have had the only 3 and 4 year old in the country who had to be woken at 9.20!

Zoe well done you. How fantastic that Ollie came so quickly. I hope everything is going well.

Kareen those babies are a great size. You are doing a great job.

Vita, what can I say, you are doing fantastic keeping those babies in there for as long as you have. I hope they stay a few more weeks.

Justine not long now. I hope you have a nice quick labour like Zoe.

To everyone else I hope you are doing great. I need to go and express now.

Take care all. I'm checking your progress when I can.

Love to you all

Jo

Hello Ladies:

I had my scan today and will post a photo of Andrew on photobucket. He is ahead of schedule and weighed in at 4 lb 4 ounces, which is about 1.5 - 2 weeks ahead. My ankles have just started swelling recently :( I hope the little guy can come a couple of weeks early. He may come in February instead of March.

Jo: So happy to hear the update on Ellie.

Happy New Year to all.

ladies

Im so happy to see everyone is progressing so well...

TAMMY!!!! Andrew is growing so well... i think you are gonna deliver a 9lb boy!!! i can totally relate to you about your ankles... it totally sucks! PARDON my french. but im glad you are doing well...

Justine~~ any possiblilty of this baby going beyond 40weeks and surprising you ???????? just kidding... i miss chit chatting with you all.

Zoe, glad you and your little love are doing well.... keep up the good work

Kareen, darling how are you? this place is just not the same without your funny and lovely posts that we all looked so forward too. i hope you and your little lambs are doing well.

Hayley how are you dear??

As for me ladies, its been over 2 weeks that i have been hosptitalized but im still very thankful that i am here and getting monitored rather than sitting at home and wondering how my babies are doing.. Thank God
had my cervix checked yesterday, still closed so thats good, but it seems i have got a bladder infection thats been causing me some pain...
I still contract every hour, it just sometimes its more in a certain hour then others and that just makes the nurse come in an give me an extra shot of terbutaline... seems to be doing the job...
My doctor is out of town at the moment which im not thrilled about but nothing i can do other then hold off till he comes back on the 8th of jan.
im getting close to my immidate goal of 32 weeks yet hoping and praying to make it to 34 weeks... this will be a blessing... on my last ultrasound the babies came in at 3.07 3.10 and 3.11 ...now im hoping for 4 lb babies... small goals to get me through these very long days...

I was here during christmas my hubby has spent many nights here and it wasnt too bad, i look forward to the new years countdown with my lambs, husband and parents, its an experience i guess i wouldnt trade it for amything in the world.. anything to give my babies a fair chance at life..
Is it weird to be totally inlove with them already??? Or is being in the hospital getting to me?? Regardless, God is great for giving me these blessings...

Happy New Year everyone!

Vita
