Turtles...I'm so very sorry to hear this cycle was not successful.
You've been on my mind every day and really had hoped for a positive.
But you have a great attitude and jumping right back in is wonderful.
Acupuncture would help you a lot. I started after my chemical in preparation for my coming cycle and I have to tell you that I feel like a new woman. Make sure you find one that specializes in fertility and has a lot of experience!
I wish you the best of luck and hope to see you join us in the August thread as jharris said.

Big hugs coming your way!

Adsgirl: I like when someone crashes a thread as you did...as I do :D
Don't ask me why but I have a good feeling that you're pregnant! I can't wait to see your BFP! Good luck and I'll keep checking on you!

Happy fourth tomorrow!

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I haven't had my good cry yet. Probably when I have my bath. :) My son did make me cry a little. A good cry though. He sang me a song he made up that just got me going:

I love you mommy,
I love your heart,
I give you flowers
I kiss your baby
I give you big hugs
The end

I think there was another line after the baby but couldn't remember it when we got home. He is such a sweetie. I tried to explain that I don't have a baby in my belly when he kissed my belly again. He said, "I know, I'm kissing the eggs!!" :) I hope every one of you ladies is blessed with a sweetheart like mine. They are worth every shot, the money and time we put in trying to get them!! Good luck ladies!!

Adsgirl
- I also hope for no letters after my next cycle :) How you holding up with not POAS? You have more will power than I do. Hope the weekend flies by for you!!

Jharris- Thanks for checking up on me and for the invite. I will get on the Aug/Sept thread. I saw a lot of names that looked familiar.

It's almost midnight, but I wanted to let you all know how my ultrasound went today. Today, I had my third ultrasound. Everything looked good. The baby measured on target at just over 7 weeks and the heart rate was 143bpm, which the doctor said is excellent. It was exciting to see my little bean again and to watch the heartbeat. They gave me two more pictures. I was amazed at how much the baby grew since my first ultrasound one week ago. My ovaries are still swollen, although a lot of the fluid went down. The doctor said my ovaries will probably remain swollen for the next couple of weeks. So, I have to continue to take it easy (minimal activity) for the remainder of the first trimester and continue to drink plenty of fluids (especially Gatorade).

Today's appointment was my last with this doctor. So, we hugged and said our 'so longs' and she expects to hear from me on her birthday on Feb 14th, which is when the baby is due. All subsequent appointments will be with my OB. I look forward to my next ultrasound...I really enjoy seeing my little bean! :-)

I'll have to catch up on all of the posts tomorrow. I'll post more personals then. Take care ladies!

Oh Turtles - I just had to take a moment and say I'm so sorry about your BFN. It sounds like you're not letting it spoil your attitude to try again. It's great that you're already scheduled to start next month (not too long to wait). I think acupuncture is an excellent idea. I tried acupuncture with this cycle and I TRULY believe it aided in my getting that BFP this time. I agree with Valerie that you should find one that specializes in fertility and has a lot of experience. Good luck to you, and I'll be checking on you and the other ladies on the Aug/Sep thread.

Ladies, enjoy the holiday weekend!

Girls...good morning! I was up most of the night...couldn't sleep...and I have been having some bizarre dreams lately. Anyway - I'm going to run out and pick up some fresh bagels for breakfast sandwiches when my parents and DH wake up...they were all drinking plenty of wine last night, so I'm not anticipating seeing the whites of their eyes anytime soon.

Anyway, thought I would check the board before I headed out...and for some reason I cried through all of the new posts! It's so hard to separate the symptoms that I'm feeling from the hope that I'm pregnant...but I know it is also tied to all of the progesterone and estrogen that I'm taking. My stuffy nose, my sore boobs, the crying, the dreams, I wish all of them were signs of being pregnant...but I know it may just be the hormones talking. Anyway, I think as I run out to get bagels, I'm going to stop and pick up some HPTs. :) Not sure if I will POAS today...but I think it's time to buy them (can you tell I'm already starting to cave???) I'm not going to tell anyone else (except you guys!) until after I've done it. I know I should wait, part of me wants to wait, but we'll see.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

AdsGirl - I'm sorry to hear you didn't sleep last night, so hopefully you'll get to take a little nap today. Mmm, fresh bagels sound really good, especially compared to my bowl of Kashi cereal I'm sitting in front of right now :) I think it's great news your nose is stuffy, boobs are sore, emotional, and dreaming...I think you're on your way!! Let us know how the POAS goes, if you decide to do it. I really thought I would make it the full 14 days, but boy was I wrong :) Have a great 4th!

IMBlessed - Wow, you've already had 3 ultrasounds? I have to wait until I'm 6.5 weeks and it's driving me crazy. DH asked yesterday if we could go in early, he's so ready to make sure everything is ok. Great news that your little bean is doing so good and the heart rate sounds perfect.

Happy 4th everyone! Have a wonderful and safe weekend.

Well...since it's the Fourth of July, the two stores I stopped at weren't open early enough for me to buy my HPTs...since I can't let anyone else know I'm buying them, I'm foiled for now. :)

Adsgirl -I can't believe you finally decided to cave, the stores are against you. I guess they want you to hold out a little longer :) I never had any strange dreams while on progesterone. I was a little moody but not weepy. So some of your symptoms sound good to me. i did have the sore boobs. They still are.

IMBlessed - That is so cool you got to see your little bean again and get to go to your regular OB. Congrats again!! I am looking into acupuncture, but there are not a lot of choices in Mobile :( There is one right down the street and I am checking into them.

Well, I woke up with a sore throat today. Scratchy feeling :( I hope I am not getting sick!! I really enjoyed my bath. I never did have a good cry. Maybe when all these hormones leave my system :)

Happy 4th to everyone!!

Hello ladies, wow have done a quick catch up, loads to read! Only got back from Hols yesterday and straight to work today. Sorry I didn't have access to internet on hols (wasn't ignoring you, promise).

Unfortunately for me it was a BFN but I am okay. I started bleeding heavily a couple of days prior to my POAS due day (last Friday) so I did a couple of tests early and it gave me time to come to grips with it. My DH was probably more upset than me as he felt sure it had worked and is a optimist rather than me who is more realistic. Still being on hols and having a lively 3yr old helped as it was not going to ruin the vacation. Anyway we are going to use our last ounce of savings and have another go asap. I didn't have any frosties, so it will be another fresh one.
Our holiday was great and it was lovely to feel the sun on my back for a change!

I am sorry to hear your BFN Queenie, MzTia and Turtlesonastump - I hope you are all bathing and drinking wine to your hearts delight and then get ready for another rollercoaster ride!

Turtles - Your boy sounds so cute, his song was lovely. I think our little ones certainly keep us going and give us strength when we most need it.

Dakota - Wow girl, your Beta is amazing, I am so, so happy for you. I emphathise with your constipation problem as I suffered terribly with my last pregnancy. I kept drinking this orange powder (can't remember name) from the chemist and it helped a little. I do think in the end orange juice was the most helpful. Look after yourself pregnant lady...

Rinnie - thanks for thinking of me and I am glad to hear you enjoyed your time away with your DH. I bet it was lovely just to be you and relax.

Angram - great Beta!

AdsGirl - I am keeping fingers and toes crossed for you. I have never had ICSI and luckily most eggs fertilised. Must be the Zinc DH is taking - super sperm!!!! Well he likes to think so anyway, ha, ha
My screen name Prawnster is from when I was pregnant with Gabriel and on the eight week scan he looked like a Prawn. So my pet name for him was Prawnie or prawnster.

To everyone else, loads of love and support to you all and enjoy your holiday weekend. Of course here in Uk we don't have a July 4th celebration.
