Evergreen-- Welcome This thread is our lifeline welcome to it--if you haven't done so already, go back to the beginning and read, it will help give you a prespective.

AFM--We have one proven donor that isn't already taken, she is about 1/2 way through a cycle now, I have a email out to see if she can go right into another cycle--I remember I was able to do that but I wasn't sure if she could. So she has 6 weeks until her current cycle is done. So earliest I would be able to go to is mid to end of July. I felt a little bad since Friday night I end up yelling at my DH, (don't you love hormones) of course he said my trigger words "I know how you feel" uhm no you don't---you guys do but most people don't and it turns me a little crazy. I feel bad for my donor, my RE said she may never have fertility problems, just that she can't super produce not everyone responds to the medication. So I am not down and out yet--but I am hoping the time pasts quickly:-)

Are you still responsible for donor's medical fees up until the cancel? I wonder about that.

Hang in there...but again, better to know now that later with a BFN because of poor eggs.

GiGi--Yep I am responsible for everything up to now---They are looking to see what the can discount ect. I am out about $3000 in meds, 2 ultrasound and blood work and intial screening we figure about $5000 total. The good news is that if we get a proven donor she has all the intial stuff done, so we won't have to repay that--so that is good and they cancelled before we had to pay for more meds ect. Sucks though, good new I lost a few pounds since stopping the estrogen!

have just about recovered from the shock - keep having to go and look at HPT and taken a picture of it for when its faded .. DH thinks I have lost the plot to hormones already !!!!!!

Gigi - it was FET this cycle - 2 blasts left from donor/ ooo 10 days at the beach sounds fab - where did you go ??

JDC - excellent news on your sister .. another stpe closer xx

Pooh - hoping time flies by so quickly for you - are we doing an AF dance or is it too soon ?? - at least a few pounds have come of already .. I can't stop eating - I lost loads of weight between IVF 1 & 2 and am sure people at first are going to think I have just puit weight back on

poohgirl - got my fingers crossed for you that you will have some good news about your proven donor very soon! I know that DH doesn't exactly know how you feel, but the guys do get their hopes and dreams up right along with us, even if they don't always know how to express it or say the right things at the right time. I am sure he was also disappointed to have the cycle cancelled, don't you think? But you are also right, the hormones can get the best of us!

carolyn - congrats again on your BFP! A picture is a good idea -- I carried my stick with the 2 darkest lines in my purse for the longest time...crazy, I know! Put your feet up and take good care!

Baby Mama...really hilarious... I got a bit choked up when the two women had the ET and bonded to "endless love." DH said it was way too corny. Gotta watch it ladies. I have to say that the bond between the ED and myself has already begun. Our donor coordinator said she'd be someone she'd hang out with herself. She adores her and she can pass for my sister. Her secretary said "wow" about our match.

JDC: i have to say that I'm envious of you having a sister as your ED and such a generous one at that. I can't think of a better way to do ED than having a sister help you out.

Carolyn: You are my idol this week for sure. Been on my mind alot.

Poohgirl: Can't wait to hear about your new ED soon. I spoke to my DH about you at dinner tonight. He was disappointed for you too. We are all routing for each other here. Hang in there. This ED was not meant to be. I still think you should get a refund even though I know it's not in the contract for any of us.

Gigi - you are right, I am so lucky to have my sister. I never thought I'd hear myself say I was so lucky when referring to my infertility, but in this instance I know I am.
