Your right it seems so real once you see that little heart beat pumping away i noticed you had a lower heart rate not low in a bad way but low as in maybe a girl oohhh a litlle pink one for you perhaps wouldn't that be sweet. Hope the morning sickness doesn't get you to bad

Hope you had a good one I see you didn't get two little presents for your birthday which is good they are staying put although not much longer to wait now. I think the unkwown of the labour is the worse bit it can certainly keep you awake thinking about it not to mention how uncomfortable you would be by now. I'm not sure exactly how it works but DH has to have the biopsy done to collect his sperm. As there is a blockage in his works somewhere and the sperm doesn't come through. He has already been in for a asperation which is just done with a neddle to see if there is any sperm there. The biopsy is where a piece of tissue is removed (from where the sprem starts off) so that more sperm can be used for icsi. He was pretty sore after the asperation but the biopsy is suppose to be very sore after, but you know what men are like when they are sick!!

Hi guys,
Thanks so much for your warm wishes on my birthday....unfortunately I wound up back in hospital and was only released yesterday afternoon. I felt unwell all night sunday and then woke up at 4am monday morning with a severe headache and took my bp which was high. Then I started to vomit and we rang the midwife who said to come straight in. I had a temperature aswell. They kept me in but everything seemed to settle down and they let me go after I had a scan to check the bubs yesterday. Today I have woken up with very swollen glands in my neck and sore ears and throat, so I think I must have some sort of infection going on. I see my doc tomorrow and shall see what he says.
But the good news is that the bubs are well. Twin 1 is 2.3kg (5lb) and twin 2 is 2.1kg (4lb 11Oz) so good weights. Twin 2 used to be the biggest and has slowed down alot but I don't think its a problem. I was given some steriod injections in hospital to get their lungs ready just in case so they should be fine if they come tomorrow.

OMG!! I am so excited! I just went to the doctors and he has agreed that if the bubs haven't come of their own accord, he will either induce or caesar me on the 18th June. Thats only a little over two weeks away. It feels so great to have an end in sight. The doc is confident that i will do great with a natural delivery and is keen for me to give it a go so we will only resort to a caesar if need be.

Yea it has been quiet around here.
That's great that it will be all happening soon. I'm sure you have had everyone telling you bad birthing stories. I'm sure you will be fine. I have watched five births and most of them were great (apart from mine!!) I was in labour for 23 hours with my son with no drugs but that was ten yrs ago. These days they have alsorts of things that make labour more bareable.
I went for a ultrasound this morning. She could see about eight folies and a few smaller ones. So it looks like Friday will be ER day. Thank god for that! I am feeling like crap today, just feeling bloated and tired.
Anyway enough moaning from me, how are you feeling today?

Sorry Guys been away for a couple of days ans unable to get near the computer.
Em wow the 18th it's so close now do you have everything ready i hope you do so you can be resting up. Hey do you have final names picked if you have two boys or two girls how are you choseing which one will be called what name do you have a name that is chosen and who ever comes out first gets named that and the 2nd to arrive will have the 2nd chosen name or will you look at them both and say yep you look like that and you can be this one. And as Kery has said no matter where you are someone will complain about the hospital you are going to or the birth they had We live in a country town and the closest hospital to us is very small and I know my mum was busting herself the whole time i was pregnant to get Dh and i to move into their place for the last few weeks of pregnancy so I could go to the hospital near her. which she thought had to be better but we ended up going near home and nothing major went wrong except the genorators going down twice and having no power i think the point i'm trying to make is that you'll be fine and if you go in thinking positive things will go ok one point i will make is take your camera and make sure who ever is taking the shots make sure they know what types of shots you want i know i wanted to have just one up close shot of just the baby which i didn't get and can never get now mind you we got some great photos but there were a couple i would have like if i was thinking straight or if i had pre planned it with the person taking the photos and make sure you know what the policy is on taking photos if you end up needing a ceasar I also would have like more photos of that to .
Anyway take it easy and can't wait to hear your news.

I hope I haven't missed anybody it's great having so many ladies to chat with but it gets hard keeping track of everyone.
As for me well know with in the month and a half when we can jump back into it hopefully of course its sooner rather than later but atleast we'll have an idea of when. Jays 9months old tommorrow and doing well he's had a couple of bruises over the past few weeks he's at the stage of climbing up the furniture and we are on tiles so when he does loose balance it isn't good i had been trying to keep him on the carpeted area to avoid the hard falls but he's every where and i can't keep him contained so iv'e been chasing him around like mad catching him as he's about to loose balance thankfully hes now getting the hang of it and doesn't fall as often .

Barbs – sorry I haven’t e-mailed for a while – I think of you often and am so pleased you have had the chance to see your little one. I hope you are feeling well and work isn’t to busy.
I have my test tomorrow – I switch from feeling positive to negative, I don’t know if I am ready to be told it is negative it has taken so long to get to the possibility we may have a baby, for the first part of the week I felt like it didn’t work, the last few days I have felt really positive but today I’m not feeling to hopeful. I got the flu that is doing the rounds and dreadful nagging cough that has been hanging around for over 10 days now – It knocked me out for a few days but I am now feeling better than I have for over a week – I am sure it didn’t help everything…..
Well I have to get packed and have an early night – I’m away for work for a couple of days and I have to get up at 5.30am ouch !!!!

Angela - Testing today! I have everything crossed for you. I read that you are away for a few days...will you get near a PC to tell us how you did? I shall check on this afternoon to see if you have been on. Am very excited that this may be it for you!
Jomae - Thanks for all your advice! Its little things like camera shots that you never think of! I can't belive that after all we have been through, in less than two weeks, i will be holding my own two babies. Its something that I never believed would happen and I can't think about it without crying. DH can hardly contain himself and dances around me poking my belly yelling "I am your father, Luke!" ala Star Wars. I haven't thought to much about the birth and some people find this strange as they have elaborate birth plans written up and special music/oils/candles. I have to have an epidural because its twins and there's a good chance they will emergency Caesar me. I don't care what happens between the first contraction and the last push/slice, as long as I am handed two healthy babies at the end. Is this a mistake to be thinking this way?
Kery - 8 follies! Sounds very promising for ER! So Friday should be the day? Take it easy between now and then and look after your precious cargo.
