Hi vickersx3, my daughter still eats much faster than my son. My son eats slow and spits up cause he swallows a bunch of air!
I remember it was a work to feed both of them when they were at the NICU. They get so sleepy and I had to push up their jaw from the bottom to make them notice the nipple is still in there. Hope Sophia's Jaundice gets better, which I am sure it will. Good luck!!

Kim, thanks for the name of the bow company. I have to check it out and order some!!

Kimberley, I want a boat!! Seriously!

I have to go now, it's feeding time!!

Vickers3~ Sounds like things are going well. Little boys seem to always take a bit longer to catch on to feeding. He'll figure it out soon. It took my boy about 2 weeks to really become a decent eater. I was so nervous when we took the tube out because he was so tiny but he did just fine. Things will slowly become easier with the feeding but it will happen in his own time. :D Good luck and thanks for the report. Now we jstu need some pictures!!!!

Kimi~ You can buy our boat! We go back and forth all the time on selling it because of the economy. It's such an expensive toy to have and although we love it, we could do without it. We still have numerous other toys to play with but it is great for families. Any fun summer activites planned?

Kim~ Those swings are great aren't they? I use to have to put a blanket between them but they are big enough now to actually do it w/o. The other thing is that when they were a bit smaller I could barely move the thing because it worried me about their necks but now they LOVE to zip along together. The babies do go everywhere. I mean EVERYWHERE! We really wanted our children to be part of our lives in every way and to go all the places we love. Resteraunts are really tough right now though. A bag of cheerios comes with us everywhere! They don't really like to sit for too long and we rarely eat out so they just aren't use to it. We ate at a resteraunt on the coast and it was, well, interesting to say the least. It does take a lot of stuff though to go so many places with them. At least I don't have to make bottles for them. The boob goes everywhere as well!

Better go finish my landscaping while the babies are napping.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Take care~ Kimberly

vickers--I had a lazy white boy over here too! The girls do eat so much better, don't they? Hang in there, I'm sure he'll figure it out. As for the jaundice, those tanners usually do the trick. Considering the fact that yours were born before 36 weeks, they really are doing well. can't wait to see pics! How's your wife feeling? Hope the vicadin is doing it's job!

Kholtan--we are PROS at eating out over here!  Since about 9 or 10 months, mine have gotten pretty good about eating out. We usually try to find somewhere family friendly and has a decent amount of noise--so everyone doesn't have to listen to us! I have snacks out the wazoo, and I literally start feeding my kiddos as soon as we sit down. I just streeeeeetchhhh their meal out! Sometimes it works better than others. Do your kiddos do finger foods yet? That helps a bunch. That being said, we have had a couple occassions where we have eaten REALLY quickly so we could get out of there! ha ha!

steph--how are you? Has the bleeding stopped?

sarah--you feeling okay?

Hey ladies, thanks for the feedback. I went down to the nursery at 6:30 last night and fed Garrett while my wife fed Sophia. He did good for daddy by taking 20cc's (the most ever) Went back at 9:30 last night and he took down 30cc's but spit up quite a bit. He did take another 30 this morning but spit up a bit. He is getting better...no doubt about it.

We haven't heard the new results on Sophias jaundice yet but should hear something this morning. I did post two pics on photobucket so go check them out.

Well, on Tuesday it was back to the hospital for me early in the morning for contractions that hurt like a you know what. So, they admitted me and monitored me. My cervix length went from 3cm (on Sat) to a 2.5cm on Tuesday. So obviously these babies were trying very slowly to come out. They put me on some meds to stop the contractions and I had to stay there till today being monitored. The meds worked thankfully because if they had not then I would have had to get magnesium which I hear is horrible and makes you feel like you have a bad flu. But, that means that if I go in again with the same thing I have to go straight to that because the pills I took this time were a one shot deal. I came home with a prescription that I take if I start having contractions 10 minutes apart again. If it does not work at home then I go straight back to the hospital.

Now I am just fearful of real labor because I just got a small taste of it and it hurt like crap. So hopefully I will just have my scheduled csection and not really go into labor. So now I am on bed rest for the remainder of pregnancy. I am allowed to lounge in a pool but not swim, take the dogs outside real fast, and get food, and potty. That is about it. Just walking out of the hospital, home and such I had a contraction which means I really can not do anything. But my doctor was really nice and he just makes me more comfortable. The nurses were great (minus the last one I had who left me without fluids for like 12 hours). I HATE having to push the call button for some water or something. The last nurse just never checked on me and I had to remind her that I got to go home today and to get my papers ready. I was ready to leave! SO boring in the hospital not allowed to leave your room.

But, I am home now which is great. Hopefully I do not have to go back there for at least 9 more weeks! The doctor is hoping I make it till 34 weeks but the look in his eyes are doubtful. So hopefully I can hold everything off as long as possible. At least till 32 weeks.

I am glad to hear you are back home. Do they know why you are going into labor so early? Are they calling it cervical incompetance or do they think it is something else.

Don't do anything. Just rest and pray and do things that are soothing so that you don't work yourself up. Ok?

They did not really say. But On Sat I was at 3cm and Tuesday 2.5 so no idea. Just contractions that were doing something. But I go back a week from Tuesday to check on everything. I think I am going to call to get it this week because that is when I thought it was but I was wrong...

sugabeanzs, twin pregnancy can be a roller caster ride, but sounds like you are holding up pretty well. I am sorry you are experiencing pain... I know how it hurts! Please take it easy and read some books, watch DVDs on your bed... Will be thinking of you.

vickersx3, glad your little Garrett is feeding better. They learn pretty quickly when it comes to food! Enjoy your tiny ones because they get big so quickly. Take loads of picture you and your wife holding them so that you can tell how small they were. I took lots of pictures them on their own and it's hard to tell the size!

I better run, Noah's complaining!

Question ladies: Has any of you guys experienced bleeding around 13 weeks??

My weekend was horrible I started bleeding on Saturday and had to go to ER and spent most of my saturday there.. They couldn't tell WHY I was bleeding but they did the ultrasound and both babies were doing well and had strong heart beats..

I was crying and crying cause I didn't know what to expect! they put me on bed rest told me to call my OB first thing Monday..

Today I'm at work and I'm still stress about this bleeding cause it hasn't stopped!!

Originally I had my appt scheduled for this Thursday but I might see if she can squeeze me in for early appt and make sure everythign okay and nothing serious..

I tell you what though this scared the c-r-a-p out of me!! I have never experienced bleeding with my first pregnancy so this is new to me and OMG was I crying!!

anyways hope you'll have a great day!

Sameera-- Have you gotten in to the doc? I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. Yes, I had bleeding around 13 weeks. (I remember it being Xmas eve---no docs in sight!) When I did get seen, they said it was some slight placenta separation where one of the sacks had separated from my uterus wall. I was just told to take it easy and it resolved it self withing a few days. (btw--it also seemed to happen right after I was taken off my projestrone--don't know if it was also a factor?) As long as you're not filling a pad an hour, then it's supposed to be okay. If it were a m/c, there'd be a LOT of blood. What color is the blood? Is it bright red or more brown? If it's brown, then it's actually old blood that took a while to come out. So that might be why the hospital couldn't see anything wrong. If it's bright red, then it's more recent.

I agree--get in to your doc ASAP just to help you put your mind at ease. An anxious mommy can't take as good of care of her beanies. If you can't get in today, then I'd take a day off work to rest...you just can't ever be too careful.

Good luck and keep us posted!

Buckey. No more bleeding. I just bled that one day last Monday and nothing was found as usual. Probably just a burst blood vessel from my cervix. I went for anatomy scan Friday and both babies are measuring bigger than normal so that is good. They confirmed what the ob doc said that it was a boy and a girl.

Sameera, i know it is very scary. I bleed at 12 weeks and 12.5 weeks and again last monday just before 16 weeks. The thing that I am thankful for is that my doc office has a nurse on call so on the one time it was a saturday, which was the 2nd time I was able to talk to her and make them aware that way. I have noticed a lot of people on here that don't seem to be able to call their doc until Monday. Now if the first time was on a saturday I would have been at the ER, but... Anyways, I know it is scary, believe me, but you need to get into the doc first thing. I would not have even gone to work, if i could have helped it. The doc office should be bringing you in to take a look at you themselves.

Let us know what they say!!!

maz101: Welcome and congrats!!! When I went in for my ultrasound before they did the scan I just had a feeling it was twins and then sure enough it was! Do they think they are fraternal or identical or not know at this point? From the get go they said mine are fraternal because it looked like both eggs took (they only put 2 back in me). CONGRATS!!!

Sameera go and see your doctor and just take it easy! I hope everything is alright which I am sure it is if they looked at em and said nothing looked really wrong.

Thank you ladies for the kind words..

I went to my OB appt - they did the detailed u/s and both babies were moving around and doing great!

Baby A : 13w 6d HB: 156
Baby B: 13w 4d HB: 151

I'm officially 14weeks pregnany YAY!! I cried and cried cause I wanted to make sure everything was fine and they are doing great and they looked so big!!

I go back again in 2 weeks for another scan and appt. Looking forward to that

OB said try to take it easy as much as possible and no intercourse till the bleeding has stopped - she said to do Pelvic rest LOL whatever that means..

She said blood looks to be old blood but if anytime I feel like I need another scan or need to see the doctor to call and come in - because they understand how stressful it is when you are bleeding, so that was a relief!!

Ladies I'm all happy that I get to see and hear my babies

Hope you guys are having a great day!
