when she called me i was not in condition to ask any question , but phone was on speaker and she was telling my dh that projestone level is high and i alredy ovulate so they cencel my cycle . but i m gonna call tomorrow and i m gonna ask the number and i gonna ask what is their next plan to get better result. i will check u guys later

sara please dont drive yourself insane...thats what the 2ww is for!! 7 embies is GREAT!!! i'm sure your RE is just crossing all the T's by telling you to keep thursday open. there is nothing wrong with a 3dt! in fact a lot of RE's think its best to get the embies back to their mama's ASAP for a better chance of BFP's! just because you have a 3dt doesnt mean the other embies wont make it to freeze!! i'm sending you all the embie growing dust i have! will you get another update today? how is your lining?
oh and of course i'm gonna rot my brain by watching the jason/molly wedding next week...and i'm sure i'll cry and i wont even have stims to blame it on! haha DH thinks i am crazy for liking that garbage...but i just cant stop myself! just think...by the time it comes on....you'll be PUPO!!! i'm so excited that you are going to be our first BFP on this board!!! woohoo

So of course I'm posting (because my obsession with this site always gets the best of me!!!) I guess I'm "officially" joining this thread since my FET is scheduled for 3.10.10 and my beta is scheduled for the 21st!!! I was originally supposed to have my transfer in the beginning of February but when they checked me the day before my scheduled transfer my lining went down to a 4 and could not proceed. They immediately put me on BCP and started the whole process over again. They wanted my lining to be an 8 before starting PIO but my history has shown that my lining has NEVER gotten over a 7.5!!! I went in last week and the RE who was doing my SnS said my lining was a solid 7 and she felt comfortable with me proceeding but then my personal RE (who I love and has dedicated so much time and energy with me) said she wanted to keep me on Estrogen (vivelle patch, estrace 3x a day, and vagifem 2x a day) an extra week becuase there was no harm and she wanted to TRY and get me to that 8!!! Well I went in Monday and the tech said my lining was a 6 so I freaked out and called my RE hysterical that it was going down. She assured me that my scan pictures looked great and that the tech did a very conservative measurement and I was still a 7!!!! I am scheduled to go in Thursday to see my RE so she can check my levels and lining and then I go back in Sunday because I'm supposed to start PIO on Sunday night and I want to be on the safe side with everything!!!

So now that I've officially written a book on my FET dramas...some personals!!

Franny-now that I have caught you up officially I missed you so much last week!!! I too am into trashy reality shows which my DH DOES NOT understand!!!! I have hooked him to Grey's Anatomy and Glee though so at least we have a show or two to watch together!!! Only a couple more weeks on BCP's...what is your schedule this cycle? When do you start stims??

Sarah-that is wonderful that 7 fertilized!! Don't stress about 3dt!! I had 19 growing on day 3 which would have totally been acceptable to do 5dt and my RE wanted to do a 3dt because they are also in the box that feels they are better off in mama!! So fingers crossed that either way will be successful and trust your RE's opinion!!

Bei-SO sorry you got canceled....I'm surprised you ovulated while on BCP's....I would definitely ask a lot of questions when you follow up and see what they will do differently next time. The good news is you get to start sooner rather than later but I know the feeling of being canceled and it SUCKS!!

heekinje-YAH for 14!! That is awesome and can't wait to hear the fert report today

hopeforbabies-the Lupron shots gets easier because our bodies get used to the medicine and usually stop get itchy and red!!! When do you start stims?

Latrell-did you go in today for SnS? What did they say about AF?? I have heard sometimes you don't get your AF but your lining is thin enough to continue with meds?!??! I hope for your sake that everything goes well and you get to start your cycle ASAP!

Libby-I was also a really fast stimmer so trust your body even if RE thinks your crazy!!! Those numbers sound awesome but my suggestion would be to DRINK tons of water and Gatorade so that you don't get OHSS at the end of the stimms around ER time! That happened to me and I didn't know this was the case since I had 25 eggs at ER and then my ovaries were the size of grapefruits!! So drink on sister!!

Tameka94-they are checking your hormone levels and your antricle (sp?) follies (the number of follicles you have before stimming) and your lining. If all looks well you start your meds day 3 of AF! Good luck!

claudia grrrrrrrrr thats so scary!!! wth? why does your dumb lining have to put you through such torture? doesnt it know its putting me through torture too? even though i know how nervous you are tomorrow is going to prove to be a great day when your RE tells you everything is good and you will be all set for the 10th! i'm so glad you decided to come over here! i would be lonely without you. i cant wait till we both get to move over the the pregnant after ivf boards together!! you better keep up that PMA! have you gone to acupuncture this week? after my BFN i stopped going...i was too sad to have to go and tell all the people there that it was bad news. one of the acupuncturist actually called me while i was away and left a message saying they were all thinking of me and missed me. it was really sweet, but i havent called back yet. (they have to know it wasnt good news by now!) i'm thinking i will start to go back next week once a week until i start my stims. it will give me something to do atleast haha. as for me...i stop the pill on the 21st and then go for my first SnS on the 26th, and will hopefully be starting gonal-f that night! i am hoping this month goes fast! i have 2 concerts to go to, and i am going down to ct. for a long weekend so hopefully that will keep me busy enough for the time to go faster! waiting SUCKS!!!

Libby Awsome news on the follies. Isn't it great when Drs. are wrong and you get to say I told you so. Grow follies Grow!!! As for me I have tons of fat to poke that little needle into so no worries there.

tameka I'm sure everything will be fine with your u/s and hopefully your ovaries are nice and supressed so you can start your stims! Yay how exciting!

Sara LOL how funny about the comment of the PYT! Sounds like you and your hubby have a good sense of humor. So far I'm doing my own inj. so my DH is still pretty in the dark about all of that. I plan to have him help with the ones that will be going in my rump as he is more afraid of needles then I am. I will try the ice thing to see if it helps with the itching. As for you, don't worry I'm sure your 7 eggs will be fine. My RE wants to do a 3dt with us because he says eggs sometimes do better if they are put back sooner. Keep us posted on when you will be PUPO!!!!

AFM - So I did my first Lupron yesterday (10 units) and other then a little redness and itching it was fine. So far no negative side effects and I have been instructed to drink lots of water and things like smart water that has electrolytes. My nurse said that eating salty foods like chips helps too. I picked up some salt & vinger ones yesterday (might as well go all out in the salty department). Well I am off to prepare for my second injection. PMA to all you wonderful, strong women!

hopeforbabies-that's so funny they told you to get chips because when I had OHSS I CRAVED crazy amounts of salt (and picked up many bags of salt and vinigar!!) and then when I was researching OHSS it says that salty foods are actually good to eat!!! and protein and of course Gaterade!!!

Franny-you always make me smile!! glad we are back together again I am going for acupuncture Friday and then again next Wednesday before transfer (if I actually get there!!!!) xoxo

Hi ladies! Sorry, my nerves have been bad. I did go to the RE yesterday and he did the ultrasound and a blood test to make sure that I'm not pregnant. He gave me a med that will start AF. I have to take it twice a day for ten days and then AF will start 2 to 3 days after that. He also gave me Merional..with my new plan, I'll be doing 2 injections a day of merional (3 bottles in the morning and 3 in the evening). I was supposed to start the meds for AF this morning but didn't because I wanted to wait and see if AF came today and it hasn't so I will be starting in the morning. I'm really worried about the possible side effects and have asked Ghost about it. I'm already having hair issues because the water is so harsh here in Germany that it is causing my hair to shed badly, I don't want to have to worry about that too..,.we'll see though because tomorrow is day 1.

Hello Ladies.....
Sorry for the MIA.....my job sucks and they are working me like a slave. I had the most fab weekend. I must have hit starbucks like 6 times, had a mani and pedi, had a massage, went to whole foods (the healthy food store) Bought organic lettice and banannas yea me. Went to the herb store.. no I did not buy herb tea... though it was tempting my RE says no herbs. Went shopping, spent an afternoon in the bookstore... yes they had a coffee bar !!!!!!! Spent way too much money and did not care !!! Wife and son came home late Sunday and said I looked 100% more relaxed. No, I did not tell her spending money was relaxing.
I leave to board for 4 days and we have
one day I WILL figure out how to make my pics smaller but you get the point. Congrats to sara and heekinje its not even Easter yet..hahaha lots of eggs.
Sara This is your time...doesnt matter if its 3 or 5 day.... March is your lucky month. Your body has avoided the stress of the stim...dont stress it by worrying now. Relax......My best wishes to you and a great big hug for your family.

bei I am so sorry.... I do understand the feelings that come with being cancelled. I cried for three days uncontrollably. My head knew it was just a set back... but my heart felt as though I had been robbed of my child. My biggest problem was not being prepared for it.. I had no idea that I could be cancelled for understimulation. Then I was very angry.... Lupron it seems was the culprit. You will not feel any better until you get a new PLAN. Call you RE office and schedule consult ASAP. I wish I could make it better for you, it feels like a loss because it is...But you are a strong woman you will heal in your own time.

Hopeforbabies HERE I AM...... The other nurse who should have come back on Monday ...did not... Out the rest of the week. No help by way of agency so I am doing everyones job it seems.... Oh well. Yea for you being on track...grumble...grumble... Lupron...grumble.... I loved grape gatoraide, it seemed to help with the headaches I got from the Lupron. As everyone knows I am a major baby about needles, so I used Emla cream, 30 min then ice pack for 5, ( you know till yourskin is red and you cant feel anything) then did the Lupron. Worked for me... Drink up.....

Hi ladies,

Well I am on day 5 of stims, u/s and e2 tomorrow. My Day 4 e2 was yesterday and it was around 397! The last two times it was right around 150, which is pretty normal. They are keeping me on Lupron for now since e2 was high, but hey, I'll take it. They actually scaled back my stims a little (I'm on 150 Menopur in the am, 150 Follistim in pm...now just 75 Menopur). That has never happened. My stims have either stayed the same or increased. So I am HOPING they found the right cocktail this time around. I have been feeling my ovaries too, which is unusual for me at this stage, so I'm really curious how tomorrow will go. Usually I have 5-7 follies at this point, then I get to ER and have 20 (they grow crazy fast at the end, which is how I ended up with THREE Natural IVF cycles that were cancelled). The protocol is so different this time around, I am just not sure what to expect.

Congrats on those who have had their ERs! Sounds like things are going well. And 7 fertilized is a great number!!

MARCI!!!! Oh thank goodness you are back I have missed you so much and was gettin worried. I'm sorry your job has been so stressful and hope that your regular nurse comes back soon. Is she out sick or just on an extended vacation? OMG all your talk of coffee made me so jeleous. I keep trying to have a cup everyonce in awhile but it combined with the metformin still gets to me. I did find another tea that I liked it is Lipton White tea with island mango & peach. Smells great and tastes pretty good! Anyway I'm glad you got some good solid "you time" in because you definately derserved it and now you can be refreshed for your upcoming stims. I will be cheering you right along even if we don't have exactly matching cycles anymore. Yes the dreaded Lupron I know but so far I feel fine so I'm hoping all is well in there. I missed you so keep me posted no more disappearing, ok?

latrell22I hope that evil AF shows her head very soon for you. I am not familiar with Merional as i was usually given Provera to get my AF to come and I did not seem to have side effects. I'm hoping that you don't see any either and sorry to hear that Germany has such hard water. I think the Mesa area in Arizona does too as I always have dry, itchy skin and my hair feels so dry. So, I have forgotten what is your next step after AF shows up?

claud662 The chips must be working pretty well because I haven't had any headaches the last two days. I always liked the salt & vinager ones anyhow so it was the first thing I thought of. Did the salty food help you recover from the OHSS faster?

babyluv I'm praying that this is the perfect cocktail for you and you get lots of eggs but not too many if you know what I mean. I hope that your e2 goes down with the lowered stim drugs and the lupron still on board. Let us know how tomorrow goes and I know your hormones will balance and you will be right on track.

franny - yes, the days are shorter although according to the scientist who did the calculation you'd never be able to measure it. but it's basically because the land masses shifted, so the earth spins faster (like a figure skater who tucks her arms in to spin faster).

rayofsunshine/sara - i agree with franny. i think your RE is just covering all the bases. i had about double the embryos you have last cycle and my RE was still reserving the right to do a 3dt. you will make it to ET! PMA, girl!!!

claudia - glad you decided to join us over here. i'm not sure what a lining dance would look like, but i'll come up with one if that helps. and yes, i am trying my best to drink up. last cycle i had 18 eggs retrieved, so i'm expecting something similar. also have the salty food craving - good to hear i'm not alone!

hopeforbabies - glad to hear your lupron shots are going well. when do you go in for your first SnS?

marci - welcome back! your weekend sounds very relaxing and made me realize i miss coffee already! i decided to stop drinking it when i started stims. and love the easter egg picture - it's gorgeous. it reminds me of my mom, who apparently has been having dreams of me and (easter) eggs. and she doesn't know that i'm doing IVF, so that's kind of weird.

babyluv - you and i are tracking pretty closely. Tuesday was my day 5 stimming and my e2 was 305.

afm, just stimming away. tomorrow is day 7 SnS. so far i don't feel bloated, but definitely feel my ovaries getting bigger.

AFM-I got a call at 8:00 am, which I assumed could only be bad news, but it was really good news. All 7 eggs divided in 4 and there is an 8th egg that divided in 2 that they will watch. They said they were all grade A so the transfer is definitely on Saturday. I am so FREAKING EXCITED!!!! I really can't wait On a total side note: Tonight on the 10 o'clock news they are doing a piece on a possible link between fertility treatments and Autism-what? Has anyone heard anything about this? They've hooked me to watch As if we need one more thing to worry about...
