howdy 2 wwaiters

Post by Bronagh »

Hi girls,
Phoned the embrologist and 3 out of 4 fertilised so its ET on Thusday :D . One more hurdle over with. I am now officially allowing myself to be optimistic I had lots of PMA before but it was forced, now I'm optimistic but know lots of things can still happen. Stats for ET stage at the Royal are 37% compared to 25% for all cycles, so its just increased our chances.

Roll on THursday. :)

Well done Bron, it is such a good feeling to know you have some fertilised eggs. It also means they get to choose the best two to put back. My DH was over the moon when they fertilised I think he had concerns whether his sperm would do the job. Couldn't wipe the smile off his face all day.

Good luck for thursday and join us on the 2ww.

You're right Bron, it is Eerie Indiani ......... tick, tick, tick tick - God these hours aren't passing by very quickly but only 1 week to go now :D

I paid a visit on a friend in Brighton yesterday who is 16 weeks preggars and has also had a hard job getting there (after 3 miscarriages) - but the girl came good for me and just had to share this with you guys. She has taken so many pregnancy tests in her life time and I thought she must have spent a fortune until she told me "Oh no, I don't buy them at the chemist for £15 a pop, I go to the pound shop where you get 2 for £1 ............ well, blow me!!!! So off we trotted down to the high street where I picked up my Easistix P Home pregnancy kit. My friend even said that these are the ones the hospital use - no fancy plastic casing or digital read out - just 2 sticks and 2 plastic pee pots. RESULT

Hope all is well with all of you

Hiya Bron

At my ET they told me it was 14 days from that day (but she did say I could test any time from Tuesday onwards) which would make it 14 days from egg collection - I am keeping my test date as 14 days from ET though so it gives me a little bit more time to keep the dream alive.

Good luck Bron. My test date is 14 days from EC.

Time is ticking away so slowly for me as well. I haven't been well though, which is why I didn't post yesterday. I am up most of the night with cramping, diarhea and nausea ( too much information, I know). I am really confused as to what to make of this. I have endo and also have crohns disease although this has been in remission for a few years. How can 2 little embies possibly make it through this.

Had a very negative day yesterday and today isn't panning out to be much better. I just wish Monday would arrive so I can test and be done with it. I know that sounds horrible because I was so excited to get this chance and to come this far but the pains, lack of sleep and worrying is doing me in.

Sorry to be such a downer, I'll be in better spirits tomorrow.

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all keeping well.

Good Luck to Bronagh for ET today. I hope everything goes well & you will be joining all of us on the 2ww. :)

Good Luck to Allison for test day tomorrow. Will be keeping everything crossed. :)

Shellie I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. The symptoms you are describing are what I had for the first few days & it eased off so hopefully it will for you also.
I almost feel guilty because I feel ok apart from the odd cramp or so. Its the waiting thats driving me potty, but we've got a week done now so not long to go.

Good Luck to all on the 2ww, & everyone else having treatment.

Loadsa Hugs!
