So glad to see this message and bringing it up on the board! I'm getting such a deja vu on this pregnancy, it is unbelievable. Heading into the third trimester now and wearing the same maternity clothes as I did two years ago.
This will be a special holiday with our now two year olds. Siena loves Christmas lights and the holiday music. She loves to dance and sing "Jingle Bells."
How are you Christine B??
Best Wishes To You and Yours,
Sheri

Little P and Sheri and Kim - It's so nice to hear from you! I'm glad things are going well with you and your little one's! I can't believe how fast time has gone by.
Little P - I hope you are doing well. How's your little one? This time in 2005 we had been home with Meagan for about a week and it was such a wonderful time with Christmas and all.
Sheri - Wishing you a wonderful third trimester! Do you know what you're having? I hope it has gone smoothly for you.
Kim - I too am a stay at home mom and although it is a financial strain it is worth it. We don't have any family to help out so I could work and daycare is extremely expensive here. I wouldn't trade it for the world though since we have different activities to do that we couldn't do if I was working. Jenna sounds wonderful and just like a toddler with the tantrums and diaper changes. I have the same issues as well. I'm the same way with toys - since Meagan's birthday is in Dec and Christmas as well - she get's more presents than we have room for! So I will have to go through what we have downstairs and move some up to her room to make room for Christmas gifts and the baby.
Things are good here too. Meagan turned 2 on Dec 7th. I still can't believe it! She is such a wonderful little girl. She has a great vocabulary, loves books even more than toys, loves her swim class, the snow and the Christmas decorations and music.
Our next baby daughter is due Jan 7th so I'm coming into the home stretch. This pregnancy has gone very well thankfully. I'm finishing gift wrapping so the next thing will be to pack our hospital bags just in case I go early. I have the baby's furniture being delivered next week and have everything washed and put away. I had a biophysical profile done yesterday and they estimate our baby is approximately 6.5 lbs. If I carry until 40 weeks they will do another one just to make sure she isn't too big for a vag delivery. She is in the head down position which is a good thing - making C-Section odds lower.
I want to wish everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and wonderful NEW YEAR 2008. Many blessings to all you!
Christine

I cant believe I havent posted for so long! I do read the site from time to time, but getting time to post is a bit different.
Christine - Congratulations on your baby girl! I am so pleased for you all. How does Meagan get on with her new sister? Hope you are managing to get some sleep!
Sher - Not too long now for you! How are you feeling? Are you waiting until the birth again until you find out what you are having? I admire your willpower! Sending birthday wishes for Siena.
Little P - How are you and Amelia doing? Still keeping you busy I bet. They have so much energy at this age dont they?
Hi to everyone else who also reads and occasionally posts still here!
Jenna was 2 yesterday. We had a little family party which was great fun. She is having a joint party next week with a little girl from our antenatal class at a local play gym. That should be fun.
Well, we were considering doing IVF again this year. We really hadnt quite decided whether to put ourselves through it all again. Anyway, bit of shock yesterday as I discovered I was pregnant!!!!!! We cant get our heads around it. Obviously it's very early days (Approx 5 weeks) but seen as though DH's tests 3 years ago showed quite severe male factor we never expected this! I will keep you updated with how things are, just nervous now, it seems too good to be true!
Take care
Love Kim

Congrats on your pregnancy! What a pleasant surprise for the New Year. I hope all goes smooth for you. It seems to go faster when you have a little one to chase around.
Christine - Congrats on the birth of your baby girl. How is it having two now? I am getting a little worried about lack of sleep again, but in the long run I realize it will be so worth it.
Justine - Glad to hear that all is going well for you in starting up work again. I work part-time and plan to remain at my job. Day care is not too expensive here and it gets me out and about a few days a week. I hope to take a 10-week maternity leave. You don't get too long.
I have approx eight weeks left of the pregancy and I'm ready now. Not too much longer. Siena's 2nd birthday will be on Jan. 31. Hard to believe our baby is turning into a little girl already. Still don't know if we are having a boy or girl - just dying to know.
So nice to hear from everyone and I'm glad you are all doing well.

It's great to hear from everyone! This board has definitely been quiet for a while.
Kim - Congrats to you and best wishes for a wonderful pregnancy! I hope Jenna enjoys her 2nd birthday celebrations! Keep us posted!
Justine - Your children are adorable! Hope working part time goes good for you. Sounds like you had nice travelling for the holidays! Good for you!
Sheri - Wow - only 8 weeks left! You're coming into the home stretch! I hope it's going well for you. Happy Birthday to Siena. Hope you have fun celebrating. Keep us posted.
bigJ - Best wishes for a wonderful pregnancy!
I can't believe our little ones are 2 or turning 2 soon! Our little Meagan is such a sweet little girl. She turned 2 on Dec 7, 2007. She has blond curls and beautiful blue eyes and a great personality. Our newest addition Abigail has a full head of dark hair and very dark blue eyes (at this stage). It's hard to believe she is going to be 3 weeks old tomorrow. She is such a love and loves to cuddle. Meagan doesn't show much interest in her yet but seems to at random times. This was my first day by myself with the girls since my DH went back to work today. So far so good.
Well I wish all of you lovely ladies the very best. Looking forward to new updates.

bigJ,
Glad to hear from you. Congrats on your pregnancy! It seems like everyone must have the same thing on their minds lately. . . "I like this so much, I think I will try for another!" Glad it went successful for you & DH. Hoping you have a healthy pregnancy.
Christine,
Glad to hear all is going well for you. It must have been nice to have DH there to help out in the initial weeks. It's also neat that you have two different looking girls, with different features. I'm so curious what this little one looks like and what their personality will be like?
Keep us posted everyone and I will do my best also.

Sheri - I can definitely see similar features in both of our girls such as their ears and little noses. Abigail's hair is getting lighter and she does have light colored eye lashes so I figure she will get lighter hair over time since I took a lot of antacid this pregnancy which probably caused the dark hair.
Oh and the funny thing that my DH has mentioned a couple of times since he first held Abigail was that we may not be done having children. We had previously agreed to have 2 children max. He said he didn't want me to have my tubes tied after this baby in case we decide to try for another. I'm a little nervous at the thought since I'll be 38 in April and conception gets harder in these later years. But we shall see I just recently became Guardian for my mom and had to put her in a nursing home due to a severe mental decline after losing my Dad on Father's Day last year - so I've definitely had my hands full for the duration of my pregnancy and beyond. I just want to focus on our new little angel and her big sister for now.
Take Care Ladies! Wishing you all the very best!

I did IVF at age 39 and if you have had success in the past, it's a good sign it will work again. Thats what the doc said. Also your chronological age may not reflect your "physical age." I like to think that I'm closer to 29.
If you both decide to have a 3rd child, go for it and best wishes.
I have three frozen and am a little confused what to do about them. . .I have time to think this through.

Thank you for all your congratulations. Still hasnt properly sunk in yet!
Justine - I remember reading your profile and thinking miracle pregnancies can happen with male factor, but still thinking it wont happen to me! My DH's counts were less than 2 million nearly 3 years ago, so it seemed impossible! My pregnancy with Jenna was quite easy actually, so maybe this one will make up for it!!
Your children are so cute! I love the photo. Hope work is still going ok.
Sher - I hope Siena had a good birthday yesterday. I hope you are feeling ok as you get closer to giving birth and resting plenty. (Not easy with a 2 year old!)
Christine - Hope all is going ok with your little family. Sorry to hear about your parents, I can imagine its been a stressful time for you coping with pregnancy and a toddler as well. You are obviously doing ok if you are thinking of having more!!
Jenna had a great time at her play gym party. She is so active and loves climbing and running, so loves going to play gyms.
I had a scan last monday. My Doctor was really nice and booked me an early scan for reassurance because I still couldnt really believe it. Even though it was early, as well as yolk sac and fetal pole there was also a heartbeat, so feeling a bit more reassured. Im feeling nauseaous a lot of the time, which I am happy about at the moment! But Im more tired this time round than I was with Jenna and Im not working this time! Poor DH is having to do a lot more, but he seems ok with that, he's just over the moon!
Take care
Love Kim

Siena had a nice 2nd birthday celebration. We celebrated with a huge cake and dinner at a local Italian restaurant. She has grown so much in two years! Just a happy little girl who loves to sing a lot. Everything we do she manages to put into a song.
I have about six weeks to go and it couldn't come soon enough. I was somehow able to erase this from my memory from last time and now it has all come back. The good thing is I am much more laid back than last time and Siena makes the time go by so fast.
Good luck to you girls who are newly pregnant! I am even enjoying these final weeks of being big and uncomfortable.
