My DH had a varicocele and had surgery about 2 years ago. He hasn't had a SA done since so we don't know if it has helped or not. When I speak to my RE, I'm going to ask if we can go forward with the ICSI instead. That's what my gut is telling me. My insurance only covers the ancillary stuff (labs, u/s) but the procedure and most of the meds will be my cost. I plan on drawing from my retirement account to pay for it.... Hopefully, it will only take 1 time..

Testing 1 day early

Post by Pat19 »

Hi Ladies, hope your all well.

My test day is Monday 14th, but I'm really thinking to do it 2moro just incase of a bad result, I don't wanna be upset all day Monday at work. Do you think 1 day early will make a difference?

Thanks
Pat

Pat, I know the hpt are very tempting! Please please wait for your bloods! My hpt was negative on test day but I was BFP 2 days later!! HPT's are evil and should be banned!!!
Hang in there, wishing you loads of luck

Okay, I just got the call. I have 3 8-cell's one grade 1 and two grade 2's, 5 7-cell's (grade 2 and 3's), and 2 6-cell's (can't remember the grading). So, we are going in this am for the transfer. Not sure if we are doing 2 or 3 of the 8-cell's. I have a feeling the Dr is going to want to do 2, but part of me wants to do 3!!! I'll be off the computer for a couple of days. Keep us in your prayer's.

I am done! We went in this morning for the transfer and put back 2, a 7 and an 8. How cool to watch them be placed in my womb...
Laying around on the couch with the laptop. DH gone to drop DD off at a party and pick up movies and Tylenol for me. Still having a bit of discomfort from the EC. By the way, I can't stop peeing. It's driving me nuts!
Looks like a few of us are together this weekend. I am thinking of every one of you!

Well everyone...I got a BFN Thanks for your support during this time. My doctor told my husband that she is baffled by the fact that four good embryos (2 last year and 2 this year) did not take, especially with how young I am. She wants to talk about that in our follow up. I have 5 frozen this time so, hopefully we have an answer by then.

Starting to freak out

Post by samandaw1 »

Okay, starting to freak out about my test tomorrow. It is my final test. I have been cramping tons all week long. I heard cramping can be good as the embroys are trying to attach but if I am pregnant, wouldn't they already have attached. I cramp all through the night. I keep having envisions of my tests coming back with a number that did not rise from my Thursday test. I was so excited on Thursday but no just have bad feelings and trying to stay grounded.

Am I being paranoid or could this be a very distinct possibilty?
