Thank you ladies for all your supports and encouragements I couldn’t do this roller coaster IVF journey with out all your help you are all the best. I’m doing well now and feeling pretty positive, I was sad and disappointed that it did not work the first time but I have to move on and accept the fact that it’s not meant to be even though everything was perfect, it’s not the end of the world. I’m a big believer that everything is happen for reason. If God wants my hubby and I to have our own kids it’s going to happen sooner or later. For me it’s all God’s well it’s just those thing that there’s nothing we can do except to pray and hope for the best.
My hubby took me to a nice dinner last night that was pretty helpful. For right now my hubby and I just enjoying our each other company and get ready for second try (FET). At least now I already have some experience what to expect on this roller coaster ride so hopefully it would be a good outcome on our next try. We just have to be happy of what we have right now. We still consider our self as blessed and lucky to have each other, to have very supportive families, to have great career, to have 4 little ones waiting for us and to have great friends like you guys. Even though we only meet online but I’m pretty sure you are all really nice and big heart persons. God bless you all ladies… On my next Dr appointment I’m going to ask my doctor if there is something I could do or medication I could take to help my body not to reject our embies.
Based on my experienced all I can advice to all ladies that are on their 2ww, just try not to stress your self too much and try not to think about IVF thing all the time just try to make your self or your mine busy so you will not think all those symptoms or what’s going on inside you, just relax as much as you can and avoid stress as much as possible. I know it’s hard but just try. I’ve been feeling up and down on my 2ww but most of the time I always have negative thoughts and got stressed out if don’t feel anything, my hubby keep telling me to stop thinking negative it’s not good for the little one. I’m pretty optimistic kind of person but this IVF journey sure changed the way I think it was really hard. So hopefully I will learn my lesson on my next try I’ll be more optimistic instead of being more pessimistic.
Other thing I like to say is that if your using progesterone, try not to trust too much of all those symptoms you have because most of that symptoms are from progesterone. I have lots of those early pregnancy symptoms but now I know that it’s all from progesterone.
Again thank you all for your supports and encouragements. Sorry for the long notes. I’ll be on and off online.. Good luck to all of you and God bless…

Hello Chicken - thrilled about the bed socks!!!! Still no scan, got to wait till I am seven weeks and five day.
Has anyone else had to wait so long or is it just my clinic?
and no blood tests so i've no idea what my beta levels are or if i am likely to be carrying more than one. So i have bonded with two - just in case.
Where are you in the uk?

Dear Mama,
I'm posting from another thread but I've been following the March Cycle thread as well, I'm also having problems with my betas so far I've had three each two days apart the first one was two days early (I caved and went in because I'd had some spotting), the results are below:
They're concerned because the last one hasn't doubled, mind you the one before had more than doubled, they want me to go in again on Monday. I am going to have a terrible weekend worrying. How are your numbers doing at the moment? What have they said to you?

FET Feb 2007 - BFN
2nd ICSI March 2007 - BFP 18th April 2007
One thing that I have learned is that every beta level is individual for each person and each child. You more than doubled on the second test! Good Luck sweetie! Sonya
sonya - congrats on the beta numbers they sound brill. and i totally agree with you that everybody is different, but all this talk about numbers is making me want to cave and get mine done in work!!! but i just know it will be something else i will worry about then.
quita - same here with the scan honey, mine isn't until the 8th may such a long way away. so your clinic doesn't do bloods either, well thats a bit of a relief for me, i thought i was the only one not knowing my numbers!!
i'm in portsmouth what about you?
mama- how oudoing today honey, hope your not to stressed out.
barbs - good luck with ET honey will be thinking of you.

another quick post I am at work today, But I had my hCG drawn again today and it was 1841 so I am staying positive and trying to keep thinking that I am pregnant!!! My numbers are doubling but just barley and that's what my clinic is worried about , but I've researched online and after all of your posts I don't see why they are so worried? If everyones numbers are so different then what's the problem?? I also read on a few sites that you should not look into hCG numbers that much beacause they dont always mean something? So im really not sure Im trying to stay positive, but i really just don't feel pregnant or feel anything, but then again I didnt before either?? thanks for keeping me in your thoughts and checking on me!
Ok I just called my clinic to tell them my blood results because I work at a hospital and i can get it done here for free instead of paying $100 each time, anyway i told her today it came in at 1841 and she said ok looks great! Im like WHAT looks great?? you stressed me out for nothing?? she said what they were worried about is sometimes when hCG levels start low and they are just making it to the doubling point say the first time it's 20points below doubling then the next time its 40 and so on it usually keeps getting lower and worse, so I guess they were being extra cautious with me, but still they stressed me out and scared the crap outta me!!!! so I think now I am in the clear, I seriously stood up and did a happy dance!!! Im SO relieved !!! I do still know I can hear bad news on the 26th (ultrasound Day) so I am prepared but Im more leaning toward positive!!! Thanks for all your help!!!!

Hi hun
Nice to know you're doing well. Thanks for the nice message, hubby and I have waited 8 years and 10 months for this and it's the first pgy through treament. The 5 I miscarried were on natural cycles, so we're praying that this is a keeper. But it was nice to read your message.
And we live in Coventry, originally from Birmingham, part of the Black Country.
I believe at our place, I'll have my confirmation on Monday, then another beta on Wednesday. Then an early scan when I'm 6 weeks as I've had an Ectopic with my last but one m/c, so they want to make sure it's in the right place so that's already been sorted and logged that I need have one all being well.
I hope you get an answer soon . Just keep bonding away with your babies every spare minute you have as they are all precious .
