gigi - I'm even jealous of the Italian villa vacation! It does put a damper on things when the reality hits that money just doesn't grow on trees. You have new priorities now and a week in Italy will be a distant memory compared to when you're holding your new baby in your arms. But, I can still understand how much you'd like to be in Italy with your friends. Perhaps you and DH, can head out for a romantic Italian dinner for two and celebrate what you have and toast to the journey you are about to make.

I had my 3 hour glucose test this morning and so far at 4pm, no call from the doctor to say that I failed --

JDC--It is normal to have some breakthrough bleeding with BCP--keep taking them you should be fine, But check with your doc to be sure

Does anyone know how long after you begin your period it is when you go for the ultra sound of your uterus? I am hoping I won't be on vacation when that happens and couldn't remember what the range was for that procedure.

I seem to remember my first u/s to check my lining was on something like day 10?? Perhaps one of the other ladies who have had tmt more recently can give you a better answer --

AFM - had some bleeding yesterday so went on bed rest and accupuncture lady came to me at home - slept nearly all day and night and feel better today but taking it esier for rest of week !!

I experienced bleeding a few times so far. For some it is common. try not to worry. Take it easy. And yes, we do plan to tell people after 12 week visit. It's hard to hide, especially at the beach.

Hello & how is everyone? How is all the testing/preparing coming along?
Pooh- any news on the donor? Chris- are you having twins? Summer- How's all the tests?
Weather is nice in the 70's & very sunny. My garden at the city garden is huge! Growing like mad! Got zuch, yellow squash, sugar snap peas, beans are coming all my herbs are flourishing. Do anything fun over the 4th holiday?
Working on staying calm. Had to take a break from the internet & boards was becoming obsessed with my high beta number & was getting all wound up. Promised myself I would lay off until results of 2nd beta. I did cheat a couple of times (he!he!) but feeling MUCH calmer now. 2nd beta today was 17,000. No more betas. This ultrasound may be the biggest surprise yet. Ultrasound on July 17 @10:15. Thanks all for thinking of me - I thought of all of you very much. Glad to see that everyone seems to be aok.

Carolyn - sorry to hear about the bleeding episode. Do hope the bedrest and accupuncture does the trick. Take it easy and take very good care of yourself!! Make sure DH is doing all the lifting and as much housework as possible and is treating you like a princess. Thinking of you. Not much longer till your scan!

chriss - so jealous of your beach days!! It is the one thing I truly miss living here!! Can't wait to hear your girlfriends reactions when you give them your good news! Enjoy your fun in the sun! When is your next scan?

Evergreen: I hope you are right about the days...Leaving to visit my sick mom on day 8....I'm estimating and hoping I get AF earlier than later or I could be in some trouble.

Sabi and Carolyn: Pregnancy is a worry but don't consume yourself with it. I bled a little when I was pregnant with my very healthy dd. They even did an ultrasound to check it out and all was good.

Sabi: Internet warning to you. You check something once and then, STOP.

I hope you are all doing well and are healthy. Gotta run ladies. WRite more soon.
