I asked for this test, since I want to make sure that the embies have a place in implant. '' I had never heard of it either...How are you? any sign of pre -AF rumlings as it's day 28 tomorrow? Hi all,

Back to normal now, all visitors have departed, so have time to myself again.

Randa, how are things. Waiting in anticipation for your news.

Okay everyone, I have a question. Can anyone tell me if it makes a difference to your ability to conceive/implant etc if you have very light periods? I have never had very heavy AF's and no cramps to speak of at all and in recent years much lighter still, only a couple of days of light flow and then a few more days of "spotting" after that. I hear what some have said about thickness of the lining, and wonder if my lining has never been thick enough! I still have very regular cycles, normally 30 days, with an occasional blip of a 29 or 31 thrown in. Am I worrying about nothing? Or are there any implications if I am not shedding properly?

Bev, I don't think it makes any difference what our natural cycles do as the clinic won't proceed with ET unless they're happy with the thickness of the endometrium at EC which, according to Zita West, needs to be 9-10mm.

Bev, I've wondered the same thing as I have light periods too. But I've been assured that it makes no difference. My womb lining has always been thick enough and of a healthy looking quality when I've done IVF before (even on my first abandoned go, I nearly got to EC and they were scanning to check the womb lining) so I'm assuming it's ok. I think something else must happen when you get pregnant as when I had my ectopic, I had what seemed like a normal period, then a few weeks later a really heavy bleed - and I was still pregnant!

I'm still waiting for my LH surge, but that's fine as I really didn't want ET on Wed as I've got to fit in the cranial osteopath and the acupuncturist! Ideally I'd like the surge tomorrow and ET on Friday, so we'll see.

Randa, how are things?

Thanks Debra and Caroline, that puts my mind at rest a bit. I had been told the same by my GP when I asked him some time ago, but I don't always "trust" what I'm told by the GP - I sometimes feel a bit "fobbed off". But it's good to hear from you girls that it's ok!

Caroline, good luck with your "surging" and hope it happens at the most convenient time for you. Incidentally, I must just tell you the latest regarding my bedside lamp. Since Dad went home nearly 3 weeks ago, my lamp has not been on again. However, having our friends stay for the w/end with their little girl of 4, my DH got up for work Saturday morning at 7am and their little girl heard him and got up too. I was laying in bed listening to them both chatting away downstairs thinking how lovely it was that they were getting on so well, wondering what it would have been like if our little Trini was here, how they would have been chatting etc, and blow me, if my light didn't come on right in front of me. I thought, Hi Mum, and smiled to myself. So I reckon that your dear Mum is watching over you too at the moment, keeping her eye on your progress and supporting you through.

Take care all, LOL Bev xxx

Hi girls

just popping in to see how Randa's embies are doing?????? poor baby no internet I hope that's the problem

Caroline - hope your surge is timely

I have pm'd on the donor drugs issue - and will try and find out the address of the Italian online pharmacy that the Kiev and Russian girls use who didn't sneak their drugs back with them ...must be cheaper than what you are paying - blimey

Anna - I'll do an AF dance for you - very slowly

Had osterogen and Progesterone tested - paid for it but who cares - Progesterone is 81 , and oestrogen 1040 - mega brilliant for 13 weeks (when it was measured) so I am reducing medfs now with some confidnece. have 50% progesterone and almost no oestrogen support now, and things still seem stable, no shows cramps or anything. Nuchal scan tomorrow so then we'll see how sweetie is doing

bigs hugs to all of you - and best of luck with all you wish for, I am popping in a lot to see how all is going
D I'll send you and email tomorrow, neck is a lot better now so can sit on the pc for a bit

just wish it would stop snowing..

Ok online pharmacy:
www.famramiacerati.it

they speak english and have a huge selection of stuff, you can fax or call them and they take orders from the uSA as well as Europe. I think you need a prescripiton but not sure...you can email them and get a price quote   they can't be expensive or we Kiev and Russia girlies wouldn't use them as we are all donorIVF paupers

good luck sweetie, hope that helps

FINALLY!

My dh is allowing me to use his computer, as mine has completely died. :(

After collecting 8, they said only 6 were mature and out of those only 3 fertilized (we are definately into some of my "older" eggs).

ET was yesterday (day 3). It went very smoothly. All three were put back and they were high grade and high cell count! NOW I understand what you all have been going through. I got a picture of the embies... so cute! (Only the mother of them would feel that way, of course) And the procedure was easy as pie! Not a hitch. The docs said my uterus was text book and everything looked perfect.

It's totally in God's hands now! I'm taking it easy for the first 2 days then pretty much back to normal for the rest of the two weeks. Is that the advice you all get? The only thing they said I should change from my regular routine is my jogging - nothing that bounces me around is good.

I used to laugh at you all when you would say things about them falling out - now I get that too. I'm afraid to go to the potty and I try to rush when I do. Silly.

When I get my own computer and can chat longer, I'll catch up properly.

Tammy, to answer your question about the bc pills... my docs have always said at least 21 days then you are good to start another stim round. Hope that helps.

My test date is Feb 17!

Lisa, do you have any updates?

Hi everyone.
Randa-
I'm so happy to hear about your very first transfer of your 3 beautiful embies. Sticky dust your way. Thinking BFP's!!!!
My luck on the other hand has run out and i've lost my 4th pregnancy in the last 2 years. Now i'm 5 for 5.....so i'll be stepping away a bit to get my head on straight again. I wish everyone the best and i'll be checking in again when I feel more like myself again.
Love,

Hello Lisa

Was so sorry to hear your post. The IVF rollercoaster can be a stressful and sad experience - take time out to grieve and spend time with DH.

You will both be in my thoughts.
