Mina,
Hello and welcome great to have you on board. Hey sounds like you've responded well to the stimms sorry i'm a bit confused did the doc put back two or your not sure sounds like your doc needs a lesson in bed side manners don't they know it's stressful enough without them adding to it by rushing you and being rude. but enough negativity heres to your BFP on the 20th. Like Kery said i wouldn't worry about the spotting unless its bright red it sounds to me like implantation bleeding so good luck great to have you and look forward to reading your good news. Is this your first go Mina do you have anyother children

Hi Kery and Tiger, Tiger how's things going EC date yet?

hi jomae,
yaeh i responded well to the stimms....i had 26 eggs...13 fertilised...n they have saved 7 embies for future...doc just put one emby back.....i called nurse to ask if i should put one embroy back or two...she said discuss with the scientist when u go in the room...so i was kinda relaxed that i will talk to them and ask for two.....i got fainted after the er and was bit stressed before the transfer....so i started crying and then doc was angry ....n she did not give me enough time to discuss anything as she was kinda threating to leave if i dont co-operate.so i just had one embroy transfer....now sometimes i regret it...but you know sometimes i wonder if she has put nothing inside lol.....so that saves one embroy from wasting.......you asked for my history
i am married for 8 years.trying for last 3 and half years
i am 32 dh is 36 and this is my first ivf

Hello Girls,

I hope you all had a great weekend....

Mina, welcome to the thread. I really hope you had a nice relaxing weekend.... I am so sorry that you are feeling CRAP about all this IVF bizzo. I am sure your spotting is an implantation spotting. Keep your head high and keep positive :!: . I really don't understand what your doc is doing to you btw.... this doc you describe sounds like a real baitch? I have never heard of any IVF doc as mean as that..... may I ask, are you with Public or Private Hosp system? How dare they treat you like they did, make you cry?! - no way, that's not allowed. I am very angry for you. Just remember we are all here for you now, you are never alone in this journey.

Kery, great idea you're writing those Qs down as they come to you. Hopefully when you come out of chatting with them you are better informed about the process. Sometimes it is so hard to get our head around why we have to go through with all this at all. Why we cannot get pregnant like every other people, time and time again... I am sending you many good wishes on your way.

Jomae, that is lovely that your DS has figured what his shoes is…. I know people that kept their kid’s shoes as their keepsake… maybe you can recall this story when he is little older – at his 21st maybe? with his shoes to prove it?!(I think I will do it for my ‘lil one when he/she comes :) ) I am very sorry that you both have that wretched flu. My sis’s kiddies are nearly over it – one of them even ended up with conjunctivitis, poor little thing. But this was quickly mended with her mother’s breast milk. Amazing stuff that…

OK, as for me. I made a quick stop off at the hospital Sat morning to find out about my trigger time. I just couldn’t wait for them to call me back. I triggered myself last night and my EC is scheduled early tomorrow morning….. Fingers crossed for good embies… My hubby’s little ones are sleeping frozen at Royal Woman’s so they will be thawed and delivered to my hosp tomorrow. They better rise and shine for me!! I had a very good chat with hubby on Sat night and we were getting very excited about all this. I try not to get too over excited but talking to my darlin’ hubby – I could not help myself.

OK, so please keep your fingers crossed for fantastic harvest and great embies.

Cheers, Tiger

Hello Mina
Do you mind me asking why you can't share this with your mother I know some cultures look down on fertility issues i hope this isn't the case for you in anycase your in the right place you can say anything here and no one will judge you and it's most likely someones already been through the same as you.

hi jomea,
thanks for ur concern but its not culture issue at all...my mom is not a strong person and she cant see me suffering...she gets sick if i share my problems....i always share with my siblings but not her......its not in anyone's control so why it should be a culture issue in any country.....yeah i am know i am at very right place and people here try to help each other instead of judging.
thanks very much
god bless

Hi guys,

sorry I could not lolg back on yesterday.... I am happy to report that they harvested 9 eggs! I think that's pretty good!! SO I will call them back lunch time to see how they are going - fertlising. My hubby and I are soooo pleased and we thank heaven's above for this chance.

Heather - thanks for popping in! Little Griffin's looking too handsome there! Have you stopped tickling him?

Jomae, yea my hubby is still away but we are on the mission :!: :!: . Yes this is my first EC and I came out of anesthetic ok too. Just brusing in inside gave me lots of pain last night -0 not so bad this morning. My parents came to the hosp with me and they drove back. They have been fantastic, I am so lucky to have them both with me.

Kery, I am dancing AF dance real hard for you - I hope it will come quickly so you can get back onto next cycle.

Mina, keep strong. PMA PMA PMA - only 5 days to go, hang in there. I know what you mean when you say say sometimes you cannot share stuff with people you really want to... take good care of yourself though - remember you really have to look after yourself on this journey... good to hear you have your siblings to support you.

Take care all - will post after lunch.

Cheers, Tiger

Tiger...that is fantastic news!! You clever thing. Still keeping everything crossed for you and I hope to hear that all 9 have fertilised and are growing like crazy. When do you have ET? I am so excited for you.

So sorry that DH can't be with you but great that your parents are taking such good care of you.

Yes, I am still tickling the G-man...can't help it! If you look at the photo you can tell that he has everything crossed for you too....his eyes are a bit crossed!! How are your sisters beautiful babies? Wouldn't it be amazing if you also ended up with twins!

I am going away for a few days so I hope you update before tomorrow morning or I won't find out until I get back on Sunday. Take good care of yourself, drink tonnes of water and get plenty of rest.

Have a fantastic day!!!

Hey Tiger
Great news!! 9 is a great number. My clinic told me that they like to get between 7-10 eggs. Have you thought about how many you will put back in?

Hi Gals and lil G-man,

thanks for your well wishes it is working magic for me :). I just rang the hosp and my ET is at 12:55... I only got to speak to the Receptionist so no more details were given but I guess my embie/s are doing ok if they want me in tomorrow!! Yiepeeeee!

Heather, I hope you have a lovely time away (you are going on the holiday?). Yes, I will drink lots and lots of water next 2 weeks. To little crossed-eyes Griffin, pls keep them crossed for me still, for another 2 weeks!

Kery, did you have your counselling yet? I hope you gained much from it.

Cheers, Tiger xx
