AFM - I have my first consult with our RE on Tuesday to ask questions that we didn't ask since we got pregnant the first time around. We were never told what grades our embryos were or why out of 13 there were none left to freeze etc. We will decide from the info that we recieve on Tuesday whether we plan to try one more time. Will let you know what we decide. Still may not start until 2010. Don't want the stress to ruin my holiday's or Michaels 1st "real" Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Take care and I'll be looking for your post later today!

sancap thanks for the explanation LOL...yesterday was the 8th day after my day 3 transfer. I also POAS in the afternoon not first thing in the morning so may not be accurate. I moved my pregnancy test to Sundat Oct 11th...i can wait any longer!!

Everyone - thanks so much for your words of encouragement!!![/b]

OMG, OMG, OMG....it went up to 32! A perfect increase again! The clinic is changing their tone and actually told me I have a fighting chance. I have to go order a refill of progesterone and I will repeat bw on monday. She said depending on what the numbers are on monday, we will probably start looking towards u/s either the end of next week or the week after. I said to her on the phone, "This is crazy! Isn't this crazy?" and she replied, "Yes Michele, this is crazy, we have never seen a number this low work out." I said, "I really hope I am your lowest recorded case," to which she said, "You definitely would be the lowest, and we hope you are too." This is insane peeps! Of course I can't help but to get my hopes up now, even though I know it is still very possible that this could turn out bad. I guess I will not be drinking at the wedding tomorrow!

All I can say is that miracles really do happen!

CT Michele-- I cannot beleive this! It is crazy! I hope everything works out for you! If it does turn out good, I wonder why it is slow? What makes it implant late? My chemical was very hard to deal with and I pray you do not have to go through it! The emotional rollercoaster is heart breaking. But I will be thinnking about you all weekend. I hope you have some things planned to keep you busy. For some reason, I think you may just be that miracle case!

Neffi- What were your numbers like with the chemical? What exactly is a chemical? Is it just the term they would use for a very early m/c? I am sitting here wondering the same thing about what would cause such a late implant. I mean, if this works out, then we are figuring probably 4-6 days late on implant. All the research we have found online, nothing says success with this late of an implant, or numbers this low at this late in the game, so that why we are not celebrating yet. Here is the only theory in my head that makes any sense. I had 2 implanted, one was thawed the night before, and one was thawed that morning. I am guessing that the one that implanted was the one that was thawed that morning, and I have read that frozen embryos sometimes take longer to implant. That is the only thing that I can imagine, and of course this is just the made up story I am thinking about.

Can you imagine if the clinic was not closed on saturday and I had my beta then like I was supposed too? If would have been under 5, negative and that would have been the end of it. Makes me wonder how often things like this actually happen.

Michele - A very heartfelt congratulations to you! My prayers will continue to be with you and your baby. To answer your question on a chemical vs. a regular miscarriage: a chemical pregnancy is one that is noted by either blood or POAS, but a heartbeat was not detected before the loss of the baby. A regular miscarriage is one that had a confirmed heartbeat before the loss.

Best of luck to you!

Hi everyone -

Holy Moley Michele!!!!! all of our prayers are working for you!! I hope they have to make a teaching case out of your numbers!!! thank God you opted to continue the PIO!!! Soooo exciting!!! We are all crossed for you on Monday!! xoxo

franny -Come on girl, you know the AF rules. If you put on expensive panties, pants or nightgown, anything you would hate to see ruined - it will come! Still doing the hurry up dance for you!

stats -Wishing you much luck to get that new job! yes, I will POAS next Wed. That will put me at 13dp3dt, I'm too chicken to try before then. Plus my last hcg booster was yesterday, so I'm allowing 5 whole days to get it out of my system, they're a lot smaller dose than a trigger shot!

teachermom -Good luck with IUI

sancap -They have to keep my beta for longer due to the hcg boosters. How are you feeling?

rayofsunshine -crossed for you on monday!!

kala -WHOOO HOOO! for ICSI! OMG! that must have been so stressing for you! Thank god they found some to work with! Wishing you dividing dust! When do you get to come home?

j &c -hooray for 4 frosties! I've always wanted some of those, hopefully I wont need them! ha ha What?! you've only 1dp5dt? Its way too early for crazy!! You have a whole lot of crazy left!! Isnt this Sooo much fun?! I'm sending you some patience dust! I need a truckload of it myself!

karling -try to stay positive! you had no choice to do do PGD. at least now you can have that off your mind! Crossed for you!

cricket -Dont be upset, hon. That was too early to POAS!
