Angela no its not my Dr its that with DH job its so hard for him to have the time over the holidays hes dedicated to his work (love him for it) so we dont want any pressure with him trying to get time off when its impossible...so by the new year we can have our almost stress free cycle..and BFP to go with it

Ems thank you i hope you ladys know just how much your support has meant to me...funny at the start of the cycle i thought it was just going to be worrys over how many eggs to deal with...LOL

Jackie - i love your ticker. It's so cute.

I had to go for another blood test today to make sure my levels were down to 0. Thankfully they were. I feel a lot more positive today after talking to the nurse. She said it's a great sign to see that i can get pregnant. I'm so lucky it happened early when it did. I can't imagine what the ladies go through when they loose their baby further on. No matter how soon or late it happens it's totally devastating. The nurse put down on my notes to get my review meeting ASAP. Should get my FET in January. The rollercoaster journey will begin yet again!

Hi everyone,

I am on a rollercoaster of emotions today. I am still in some pain from the OHSS and trying to take it easy, but am feeling so guilty as DH is having to do 3 peoples work and he is just so so tired he needs a break. Tonight I was at a local meeting and one of the girls there has had a girl 6 months ago through IVF at the same clinic. It was lovely talking to her. The funny thing was that I announced my pregnancy at the end of the meeting and 2 seperate people came up to me to say that they had been suspecting it all night. Strange or what. I am not sure if it is the glow or the swelling from the OHSS, well it makes me look 6 months already.

Then I got back home and DH tells me that one of the members has come in the club tonight with Shingles. Now I am worried. I haven't been into the bit where she is but DH has had to serve her and I am scared that he will carry it back to me. Also to top it all I have not had Chicken Pox. What a bummer. Why do people come out when they are infected. It really makes me mad. We get it every winter with lots of members coming in with really bad colds, which they pass onto us and then moan when we have to take time off.

Well that is my moan over with.

Aunty - The new year will be here before you know it and we will all be around to share your BFP witth you. I am glad that you are going to come over with us anyway and logging on wouldn't be the same every day with out you.

Ange - Has it sunk in yet? I still don't think it has sunk in with me 10 days later. I will just be glad when we get to the first scan and can see the bump on the screen

Jackie - The Ticker is lovely. I look at mine every day just to see how far along I am.


Paula - I am glad that you are well. I miscarried about 10 years ago and the doctor at my clinic said it was a really good sign as it prooves you can get pregnant. I have also read that sometimes your body needs it as a trial before pregnancy. I hope that every thing goes well for you in January and you will have the lovely Aunty to cycle with.


Holly & Lousie- Good luck with your test. I will keep my fingers crossed for a BFP for you both.

Jeck - Wow 18 embies. Haven't you done well. How many are you going to transfer and are you going to freeze any for a brother or sister.

Hey Ladies!!!

angelamw-- I'm like you sick people need to stay home!! I don't want to share their germs!! So does the OHSS seem to be getting better?? I am afraid I am going to have it a little, My belly is more bloated then it was with the first IVF, but I am drowning in fluids to flush it out!! I am going to transfer 2, I would do 3 but I think that is all they will do at my age, and we will freeze the rest for siblings of course!! I won't know how many made it to freeze until the day after my transfer!

Paula-- I am so glad you are doing well. It is great that you can get pregnant, I know that is the last thing you want to hear after a loss, but it is true. I just know the next on will stick around for 25 years!! FET is soooo much easier than fresh!!!

Aunty-- Don't worry about being lonely, I know I plan on stalking you till you get your BFP and beyond!!!

Jemima--How are you doing honey?? Hope all is going well for you!!!

Becky-- I can wait till you have a stork stalking you!! LOL!!!

nimble and ang-- I am so please with your BFP's!!

Hi Everyone! I am starting to feel a bit out of touch. I guess I will try to move over to the pregnancy boards...but for those of you that did not get your BFP this cycle...I DO NOT WANT TO LOSE TOUCH!

What should we do? I am so serious. I wanna know when you guys get your bfps!

Maybe we should do an email exchange and keep each other posted. Would that work?

I go for my ultrasound tomorrow where we shouild see her heartbeat. I am very nervous. I hope that it is beating strong.

Zirly - I agree with you. I sort of want to move over but then I want to keep in touch with the old friends on here until they get their BFP's. Maybe we could have a pregnant September Hopers- May Babies on the other thread where we could rant on about scans etc and then keep this thread going for everyone still going through the treatment. That way we could keep in touch with the people still having treatment and give them our best wishes and they would be very welcome to visit us on the new thread, just to get the feel ready for when we welcome them with open arms and a BFP. What does everyone else think? I really want this group to stay together as you have been such a great group and to me this seems like a good idea. From what I can see so far on the other side there isn't a thread that has as much support, or smilleys as this one.

Please feel free to add you ideas whether you are still in cycle or now BFP.

Well I am officially going crazy. I cannot stand this 2ww, I have another week to go and am unsure how I'll cope. I'm getting so anxious and uptight I just want to know but am too scared to do a test cos I won't be to handle it if it's neg!!

Ok what if we have the our preggo board thread on this side (general) that way not only our friends but other ladies can join us and when we all get our bfp's we can move over together. Goofy or good.. That way our friends can still pop in on us and join in the conversations.. They will ALL be having the same questions we do very soon when they get their BFP's.. Just a thought let me know

oh Haylie i was just thinking about you isnt the TWW the longest two weeks of our lives its like one of those dreams when your running but going nowhere.....we all feel the same way about your test too i cant wait to read your BFP how are you feeling as in symptoms?....and those HPT's are a bad bad thing once you start you wont be able to stop ...actually smoking would be better for you right now than the stress from HPT's....lol im kidding....ish but you get what i am saying....

Jackie-- I think your idea of a preggo thread on the general forum is great!!! I know the last couple of days it seems that I have been going to several different threads to check on people... How about a Hodge Podge thread or something like that????? I know some people get offended reading preggers stories but I want to read you guys stories because we all know what you had to go thru to get your BFP's!

Holly--I am so sorry about you -ve! Your time will come!!! Sending you a big hug!!!

Haylie--I haven't even officially started the 2ww and I have already started the what ifs!!!! This will be the worst 2ww ever!!!! I have no idea what I will do if it doesn't work this time... Hoping it starts flying by for you!!!

angelamw and zirly--I agree with you guys I want us to have a thread that we can go to check on each other.... How is the OHSS?? Is it getting better, I have always heard that pregnancy makes it worse!!

Jackie - I love the idea of having our pregers thread on this side. It will be wonderful for us still all to be together and for our old friends to be able to pop in and see how we are doing.

Holly - Sending you a really big hug. I am really sorry about your news and hope that your time comes soon.

Jeck, Every time I think that the OHSS is getting better it gets worse again. I have heard that it can last for a long time. I am just taking one day at a time. I am getting bored of not working though. I hope that you don't suffer too much with it. Our consultant said on collection day that I had a really high chance of having it but he prefers to cary on, rather than halting the cycle then. I found drinking lots helps, as well as proping myself up and not lying down too much.
