Ladies...I just did my trigger shot...but Im worried now cuz I didnt feel a thing! DH injected on the top of my right bum instead of more to the corner...is that okay? Does it really matter where it's injected at? Im so scared now, thinking that it didnt work. Because seriously, no pain at all! I hope everything did go well, and im just lucky it didnt hurt. I feel like crying :( .

Miyaya Sorry about AF, but some women do bleed a lot while PG, so it may still be possitive. When's your beta? This is weird coming form me, the hater of POASing, but maybe you should POAS just incase before you give up hope.

Syana I just watched some youtube videos last night about giving IM shots. (Can you tell I am freaking out about this thing???? ) The reason they want that area is to avoid the siatica (sp?) nerve which could cause a lot of pain and damage to the nerve. The nerve runs down the center. As long as you didn't have massive pain or he went in the middle your fine. It went into miscle, that's all that matters. You can actually use about 5 muscles in the body for injections, it's juse about not hitting nerves or veins.

AFM...beginning my week of relaxation leading up to ET. Going to a giant craft show today (I LOVE them!) with DH. (Hopefully I am not using up my miracle of the month!) He said we can do anything I want today. Tomorrow I have lunch and mani/pedi with my mom and sis and some girl bonding. Wednesday is full body massage day. And then next Saturday and Sunday are veging days after ET. I am going to be so relaxed this time around. DH is trying to make sure I have no worries. Until the 2ww starts!

Sancap – That’s amazing! Congratulations!

Miyaya – don’t you give up yet! Some ladies have a lot of bleeding and have healthy babies! Hold on!

Karen – I know that freezing your babies was not what you wanted, but (if the RE is right this time) the lining plays a big role and I would want to give them all the chance possible. Hopefully your u/s will be ok and you will not have to worry about that awful OHSS so much. Wishing you luck!

Michaela – That is awful about the measles! I hope they realize what a big mistake that could be! Just watch yourself VERY close! I’m sure everything will turn out fine. I’m glad you are so careful.

Jaydentd – Good Luck tomorrow!

J&C – Have fun with the birthday party! Pretty soon you will have to plan TWO birthday parties in one year!

Syanna – I didn’t think the shot was too bad either. Nothing like the PIO. I’m sure it worked just fine!

Kala – You’ve got the countdown started!!! LOL! I know you will be glad to get home and relax. You will have symptoms sooner than you think!

Cricket – Hoping for high numbers tomorrow!

I'm sure you are fine. If I remember right we went more towards the right hip, too. I didnt think they were bad either. Another good tip that we learned was to...stand up and put all your weight on the opposite foot, with just your toe slightly touching the floor, and lean slightly forward on the back of a chair. The tips for using ice and everything werent good, because it actually makes the muscle tense up. Hope this helps.

Hope you guys dont mind me crashing your board. I'm getting ready to go back for a FET and am reading up, to refresh my memory, on everything again. :D

Hey everyone!
The doctor said that the embies look great! 1 is a little slow though, but it should catch up. I go in for ET at 12:15 tomorrow. Im sooooooooooooo excited!!! I cant wait to be PUPO!
Now is the great debate: how many embies to transfer? My dh wants to do 4 and im leaning towards 3. In serbia, you can only transfer up to 4 and a law is about to pass to decrease it to 2. I would be ecstatic about twins, or triplets...but 4 (what are they called, not quints..i think thats 5) would be a handful. We have such a small house too, just 1250 sq ft.
I guess we will talk to the drs and figure out what best for us tomorrow.
Thanks for all your dust and pma!! Ya'll rock!!!

Hi everyone -

Hope that you all are having a great weekend! I'm still waiting & waitiing. I started to have the evil thoughts last night, "I could go to the store right now & get an HPT & end this awful waiting!" Luckily I was dumb enough to mention this to DH who talked me off the ledge. I WILL wait until wed (if it ever gets here!!!!!)I think it wil be fine to POAS 2 days before the LONGEST beta wait EVER!! I'm too afraid of a false positve from those hcg booster shots (damn stupid booster shots!) So thats my day. Unless you all would like to hear about my dog getting the vacuum cord stuck on her leg, realizing it, and taking off at top speed through the house dragging the vacuum with her? Too funny!

sancap CONGRATS!! I have to save the big one for your "official beta" though :D hope your bikini clad self had a great day at the beach!

lisa -HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Wow, am i jealous of your relaxation week!!! ENJOY!!

prayin -Hooray for 2 perfect embies!!! thats what I had too! Sending you lots of sticky thoughts!

michaelajt73 -OMG! how nerve wracking was that? I'm glad that you're as sharp as you are! crossed that you didnt have too much exposure!

j & c -I'm sending you loads of PMA!!! I'm right there with you! One minute I'm sure that it worked, and the next I'm convinced it didnt. This 2ww could be used as a form of torture! We'll get through it together!!

kala -Hang in there, brave girl! It wont be too much longer til you're in your own bed! Wishing you the best of luck tomorrow!! PUPO!!!

miyaya -Its not over til the beta. fingers crossed for you!

hugs & prayers to us all!! xoxo

So I just returned from RE to be checked for OHSS. Definitely have a mild case but it doesn't require any intervention at this point, thank goodness. Just lots of electrolyte enhanced fluids they say! Also received an embie report while there. Doctor said it doesn't look good. They seem to not be developing "pretty" he said. But none have arrested as of yet, so if we do end up with any at all and they are worth freezing then we will freeze them. He said with my ovaries being over stimmed and progesterone/estrogen got too high, this can compromise embryo quality b/c it, of course, affects the eggs. He said he would change me to a Lupron protocol if I need to do another fresh cycle and that my over all prognosis is excellent b/c I don't have any issues really. I also have lots of eggs too, he said, which is good.

So now I just wait for AF to show up. How long will it take for AF to arrive usually? I'm normally very regular with a 28 day cycle. Today is day 21 in my cycle but I've been messed up with these hormones, so not sure how long it will take. Also, my left ovary is a bit cystic right now. I hope to hell this goes away. I've never ever had any ovary issues in my life...and I swear if I develop an issue from alll of this, I'm going to be royally pissed! Send PMA to me....I need it right how! :x

Should my clinic/lab be giving me the details of my embies? They only have been saying, "normal" or "not looking good". This is my first cycle so I'm not sure...but i notice many of you ladies are telling details about cell# and grade. I'm very frustrated with this place. If I wasn't locked into them b/c of my shared risk package, I'd switch for my next fresh cycle!
