Ok so the nurse called me and she says hi Lauren how are you? I said im ok how are you? She says Im good and so are your embryos!!!!!!!!!!!!! There dividing just as they should be!!! So ET tomorrow! This is my first IVF so I dont know that 3 day transfers are the best but bc I only had two there putting them back...

On another note my best friend passed away in her sleep unexpectedly sunday morning and her funeral is tomorrow?? Ahh how can I not go? This is horrible and im trying to be happy but then on another note so sad and I feel selfish! I talked yo her mom and she said not to worry but still...

Congrats on the ET; I'm so very sorry for your loss!! However, you MUST go to your BF's funeral. I believe people overreact w/the bedrest. I had my ET on 4/19, Monday & cooked dinner on Tues & was back at work on Wednesday. My instructions said bedrest (sitting up in bed, etc.) for 24 hours...so you can sit up in a chair at the funeral. The first time I got pregnant on my own 2/07, I ran a 5k in Myrtle Beach. If it's God's will you will be pregnat. It's hard, but we have to keep things in perspective, you'll be fine, pay your respects & then go home or transfer the following day.

You are funny. I can never understand most of your messages...it's seems like they're one big text. But just relax, have faith that God's will, will be done! On another note, some of us are meant to birth naturally and some are not, I'm okay with whatever my fate is. To be honest with everyone, I have a heart for adoption. I don't want to adopt an infant but maybe a 2-5 year old. Oh, their are so many children that need love, especially within the Black community and their just aren't enough black couples reaching back to save these children. If I don't give birth to a child, I'm okay. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have that feeling of being pregnant & saying I gave birth. However, I know motherhood isn't defined by giving birth, it's defined by the love you have in your heart. I love children and can love a child even if they weren't in my belly. I believe sometimes we focus so much time on OUR will, we don't allow God's will to manifest itself in our lives. Now, I love my husband dearly, we know our Lord & Savior, & we travel all over the world & generally enjoy each other, so life is good! However, unless we have our own, don't know if my DH as a heart for adoption as much as me. That was a big misunderstanding early in our marriage (been married 3 yrs); however, if he doesn't want to do it, I'll just continue to volunteer & love the heck out of my BFF's son & a ton of nieces & newphes .

Who know's maybe, I'll be pregnant this go with twins from Monday's ET...& in that case adoption would definitely have to wait a few years. Oh trust me, I'm analyzing my feelings & aches & pains, especially since I've been pregnant once, I know the sore breasts came very early for me & the twinges were constant...so I keep checking to see if I'm feeling the same, this is all natural. I've just made up my mind, I'm not testing early will test on 4/30, Friday at the RE's office (DH & I are both working from home that day, to accept the news). DH & I said we are willing to do another IVF cycle & one more FET after that (we currently have 1 frostie left, I'm sure we'd add to that w/another cycle). All of this will probably take us toward's the end of the year. If I don't get a BFP this year, we're done with IVF. We got pregnant against the odds once & God can do it again. But Ladies don't loose sight of your DH's & the love you two share...it's so easy to be consumed with trying to get pregnant, still love one another in between. Keeping everyone in my prayers. It's been nice sharing...DH just told me to come back to bed

To all the BFN's I'm so sorry - Don't ever give up & everyone is on my prayers.

So I really don't know what's going on with me - whether I have a stomach bug or a reaction to one of the meds, but ooooh man this is my third day feeling this way & now my right side started hurting. Sorry to complaint so much I just don't know what's normal & what's not after transfer. I hope this passess soon!

Angela - you are right. We have to stay away from negativities. I did just that finally yesterday and just ignore the group and didn't go back... why? Just silly.

I am so glad your little baby is ok. That's all that matters. A life is a life and words are just words... that is cheering me up so much.

Paty - I am sorry you are sick dear. One time it was happening to me and dh told me to eat oatmeal... can you eat? I did that and it worked asap... if you can try that. I hope you get better soon dear.

bei - how are you doing?

mkd - you are right it might be the hormones... plus I have been reading grief and loss about people loosing a child for the last 2 days and of course it makes me cry... but I am trying to get a lesson out of them so I don't make the mistakes they made... but funny how we do everything they do and it didn't happend to me?? One time my 3yo fell in the pool (I was right there so I got him asap) second time I left him in the van for 30 min because of the exitement of my sister's new baby (it was April so he was fine but so sad), he fell down the stairs, leaving them in the bath a few minutes, I too have blind cords around the house and the list goes on...

But there is something I did for all my kids though except the oldest. Is read these prayers that says: if you read those prayes to your kids everyday for their first year of life they will not loose any of their senses and other things... So I think that is what saved my children so many times... And for adults if we read them for us it is supposed to protect us from sudden death so like a car accident or anything like that that. So so so many times I could have been killed while driving the car. And somehow something happened and I was ok... I tell you miracles happend everyday...

When is your Beta dear... how much longer do you have to wait? So sorry the 2ww is a killer hey!!

emmax - so when do you see your RE again?

natakia - wow your post was pretty amazing. I tried adoption too BEFORE IVF and everything but they told me I was too old. I was 43 at that time. Plus we didn't have $30,000 dollars. So anyways since I would love my daughter to have a sister I signed up with social services here but they said that with a new baby I should wait a while so I said ok. We will see if ever our lives are stable enough for that and in the mean time we are hopeful anyways.

Please don't stress out, it's not the "quantity" it's the "quality"... I totally agree with Angela. My situation was very similar. I retrieved 20 eggs, 12 fertilized, 6 made it to 5 day blast. But only two were of good quality the day of transfer! I had an ultra sound yesterday and I have one healthy bean in there...So just relax and think positive thoughts...

7dpt.. Morula is completely implanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops

Don't listen to her lady you have no tube the embie can't reach your ovaries and it's something different. I can't belive she won't help you... boy why do we pay so much money hey!! I guess she doesn't get paid for phone calls
