Hey ladies....
just got my bw back from today (d10), E2 is 6,700  . Doubled again in last 48 hrs. Guess that is still a good thing (I managed to grow 2 more follicles in last 48 hrs...where the h@ll were all these follies the last 2 cycles?????). Progesterone went 0.7 to 1.3, so expect may trigger me tom if prog rises any more. Dying to ask RE about my E2 levels tomorrow...they seem excessively high, even if i have close to 20 follies... I suppose maybe it is a good thing i wasn't planning on fresh ET..

Mia:i will be in around 0900 for US/BW just in case your pre-op or ET is around that time....will keep my eyes peeled...

Noodle: glad you are coasting and haven't contracted the "POAS fever". Bummer about dh job.

My darned AF just won't start. I'm sitting here trying to will it to. Do you think that will help?

I'm also trying to decide if maybe it would be better to try it again (it will be FET this time) in January instead of December. (If AF doesn't start tomorrow I'll have no choice as the office is not doing any more after tomorrow due to Christmas lab closing).

Anyone have any thoughts about waiting in between attempts vs jumping right back in? I know several of you have jumped right back in this month (I really hope I'm able to) but just was wondering.

Congrats to the BPFs and fellow BFNs know that I'm feeling your pain!

I had my appt today and believe it or not, I started stimming again tonight for a IVF cycle this month. EC will be sometime in the middle of this month. So, yes Meg, you can jump right back in. I honestly wasn't expecting to do so until January. I do the short protocal cycle. Now, GROW FOLLIES GROW this time!!!

Rochelle, skidoo and holly - sorry you gals got BFN also. Hopefully you can jump right back in. That seems to help me instead of waiting..... I have no patience...

Thanks guys for the PMA, you are wonderful!

Hi everyone!!!

Great news....my 3rd beta came back and it doubled!!!!!!!! I'm officially pregnant with a due date of 8/12/07. I almost cried when she said your due date is... It's so weird to hear that. Suzhan: Yeah, now we are both still on the same schedule..I'm so glad we did our transfers on turkey day.

Hope everyone is doing well!!!

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been online much the past couple of days. DH and I sort of splurged while shopping at the RC Wiley furniture outlet Monday. We were supposed to just be browsing. We are setting things up and getting ready for the PILs Christmas visit. We bought a new couch, kitchen table/4 chairs, desk and hutch for me, solid wood file cabinet, Tv stand for the BR all for $900! can you believe it! What a bargain! It was a total impulse buy, but we figure these will be our Christmas gifts. Besides we've had a tough time the last 5 months (with IF, BFNs and all). So we thought, why not, we deserve it.

I'm so sorry to all the BFNs :( I thought we were on a roll. Please treat yourselves really good and do something special for yourself. You really deserve it. It's a hard road we take, but someday we all will get to where we want to be. Just stay positive.

I'm good to go for ER tomorrow! I had my trigger shot last night. This time my RE had me do a shot of Lupron with my HCG shot. Supposedly since I have lots of follies, the Lupron should help prevent OHSS. Boy that one stings!! is it supposed to? I never hear anyone complain about Lupron. But, man I was punching pillows, screaming and throwing a fit! Maybe it hit a nerve or something. :? Anyway we have tons of follies this time, I think 21. I don't think all of them are over 16mm. I think i counted 3 or 4 were around 10 to 12mm on monday, but who knows maybe they did catch up.

Sassy, It wasn't me you saw. I was there today at 11:15 for my pre-op! :) There may be a chance we'll bump into each other tomorrow! I may be just coming out of recovery at that time. I will wear black sweat pants and will look very tired. :D

Jovigal, congrats on starting again. I wish you many healthy eggies!

Cindy, congrats on your beta and official due date. How exciting. Best wishes for a pleasant pregnancy!

Wow – this thread was busy today….

Holly – Wanted to say I was really sorry about your bfn. If you decide to try again, I wish you all the best in your next cycle. Hopefully, your RE has learned from this cycle and will help you improve your chances the next time. Take care and enjoy your break.

Jovi – so sorry to see your bfn as well, but wow, you too get to start right in. Good luck with your next cycle! Are they making any changes?

Sita – congrat’s on your bfp - what great news! I wish you the best 8 months possible. Did you get the date for your first scan? I too really think acu helped me.

Cheeky – 24 eggs – wowie! And, to have 10 fertilize is great. I’m sure you must be very sore – take a rest and feel better. Did they decide to do FET next year or go ahead and transfer this cycle?

Cindy – I can’t wait to hear! I haven’t gained any weight in this IVF but have no idea why. In my first two cycles, I gained 5 pounds each – most of which I never could get off. I’ve always wondered why IVF makes you gain so much weight – don’t really know. Just think of it as a good cause! I had to go buy jeans last weekend though – only had one pair that fit (not very well)….I was sad to see the size, but again, have to figure it’s all for the good cause.

Sassy – just a few more days to ER! It’s so exciting you’re doing so well! Excellent news! That E2 seems super high to me, but I guess it’s not a problem since you’re doing the FET, right?

Noodle – thanks for the info on the marker test….I wonder how they do the test – it’s something I’ve never even heard of before now. But, I’m going to cheer you on – I too had really poor outlook with this cycle from the RE (lining too thick, too few embies, etc.), so who knows. It’s way too early for the hpt so good thing you’re not itchy yet!

Meg – hope AF comes soon….I’m not sure on waits between cycles – I’d think that since it’s an FET, it would be fine since you’re not impacting your ovaries anyway. If AF doesn’t cooperate, at least you’ll get to have a glass of champagne on New Years!

Well, good luck to all those in the 2ww or cycling!

Take care,

Cindy - I knew it! So cool we have the same EDD! Did you get your scan date? I'm on pins and needles until then. I still have this fear that I'll wake up and not be pregnant. I guess I'll be worried until the scan.

Mia - good for you and DH on the splurge - you deserved it! I can't believe you got all that for $900. Most importantly, I'm thinking about you for tomorrow's ER! I hope you got lots of very strong eggs and that they fertilize beautifully! You deserve that too! Let us know how it goes when you feel up to it tomorrow! Boy, time has flown by - it seems like you just started stimming again yesterday and you're already to ER! Good luck!

Hey Suzhan: I have my scan on 12/26 at 9AM. I know I want to see how many are there and make sure everything is okay. I do feel relieved though that this wait is over....it was hard during the 2ww. I feel like I just want to get back to other things and get my life back. Yeah!!

Suzhan - they increased my stims (Menopur) from 4vials to 6vials this time. If this doesn't work this time, it's probably not going to. I feel the "Estrogen Head Mush" is coming on....

Mia - good luck with your ER today. I hope you have LOTS!!! and WOW, what a great buy on your furniture.

Cinders - that's great you got a due date now. An August baby, a great time of the year to have a baby. Happy for ya!

Sorry I haven't been on siceposting my results but DD has been ill since Tues so been nursing her. should be at work today but took halfday as my mum could only look after her this morning. Nice to just sit down and relax!

Cinders- Congrats on the BFP being confirmed. Hope your numbers go well today. Kind of wish my clinic did Beta numbers but then at least I don't have to worry about whether they are going up or not.

Suzhan- well done on yourstrong BFP!

Cheeky Monkey- Wow 24 eggs. Well Done and keep drinking!

Holly, jovigal, Skidoo and Rochelle- So sorry it didn't work for you this time. Take care of yourselves, enjoy something you usually wouldn't have/do and wishing you all the best for the future.

Hope everyone else is well. I'm waiting to hear when my scan will be. Should be Dec 20th but Consulant is only holiday that week so they are going to get back to me. I my to have it in the Early Pregnancy Clinic instead.

Take care everyone.

Hi ladies...

meg12: between my 3 cycles, i haven't taken more than 2 wks off. Now i am definately type A and found once i started IVF, i just wanted to keep my head down and keep walking. So for me that was the best choice. Having said that, doing 3 fresh cycles back to back has taken it's toll. I am not looking forward to going insane waiting for the Jan cycle... but think my body and my mind truly need a break, so even if i didn't have to this time, I would wait. According to my RE, there is no evidence that doing back to back cycles has any detrimental effect (actually, i am having better results this time then my other two). That is my $0.02 worth :D

Jovigal: glad you were able to dive back in since you wanted to. Congrats! And good luck!!!

Cinders: congrats!! So happy for you!

Mia: thinking of you, hoping ER went well and that you are recovering nicely at home w/dh waiting on you! congrats on your RC Wiley cache. Impressive!!! And i thought i was a good bargain shopper...

Trigger for me tonight! Yipee!!! As of tonight, done w/shots for 6 wks!! Whatever will my hips do????

Does anyone know how long the FET cycle takes compared to the fresh cycle? I go see my RE tomorrow for his thoughts on why this cycle failed. Just want to know when I can start FET? How long does it take for AF to arrive after ET?

Thanks
