Julia: just read your second post. I was sore after the retrieval in sort of a bruised way. But my biggest thing was I didnt drink water and felt quite sick afterwards. So drink some water and tylenol or some other general painkiller. Good luck!

Neffi: oh im so sorry. Will your clinic call you back in for a meeting to explain?

Sunshine: im really sorry, I didnt trigger in the way you have so im not sure. Didnt you have a situation last time that your drugs were in a friends car when you were at a concert and they left?! Seriously you need to catch a break with this stuff x

Afm: myself and dh are going to london tomorrow just til tue. With the cost of ivf we havnt been able to get away this year so this break will be lovely. My sister lives there so we will see her and we are going to see 'jersey boys and legally blonde. I might not be able to post too much but I'll check in on you all

Ninde- yes, triggered at midnight last night, or this morning or whatever. Going in the morning for er! Talked with nurse a min ago and she is sending me home with something to get filled after procedure as well as a numbing cream for the pio. Thanks to Laura on that info!
My dad is from Wales, Ninde, altho he was raised in london. I've never been but has the chance to go twice and turned them both down like an idiot. I have a brother and a sister who live in london. Have a great trip!

Leorira-Horray for AF!!! you are doing the right thing with BCP. Im in the same boat cuz serbian RE told me to email her when AF comes and she will tell what is the next step. American RE says they usually start BCP CD1...so I guess I better figure things out. Serbian RE has not answered any of my last 4 emails
Jayne-Welcome back! I hate it when people say that if dont think about it, it will happen. My boss was convenced for months that I was pregnant even when she knew i was doing IVF...I kept telling her that it is im-poss-a-ble for me to be pregnant and she just kept saying miracles happen...and I said yes with scientific intervention.
we-thanks for all your support! I hope each day is getting easier for you. Im praying you get some answers with your panels. I guess you can put me on waiting for AF (level 1) My DH always calls IVF a video game, you move up a level at a time and sometimes you go back to level 1 and have to play all over agian.
LauraN-soooo glad you are figuring things out and you do sound better and positive!
Gina-I hope you are able to make in home to grandma that is so important! what a trip that would be. Where do you live?
Julia-that is sooooo exciting! you are getting there! We'll be thinking of you tomorrow! I was crampy but didnt need any meds. Just rested afterward and let DH take care of me.
Neffi-Im so sorry...what a pain! Keep us posted on what they decide to do.
Sunshine- you poor thing...what a stress mess! I think you will be fine. the RE will tell you exactly when to do the trigger shot so you have the best chance of getting preggo.
Ninde-have fun in London! that will be so fun! I always get jealous of my friends you go on fun vacations and we spend all our money to reproduce.
AFM-DH has been in Austria for the past 2 1/2 weeks so Ive been a single mom. Ive read all your posts from my phone each night before I go to bed. It is so hard to find time to sit at my laptop and type personals. Oh well I better get used to it cuz he will be gone all winter. I went in this week for fluid u/s and b/w to check eveything...and they said all was normal! Horray! Im super frustrated Serbian RE has not emailed me back. Now Im just waiting for AF. Still thinking and praying for ya'll.

I'm on phone right now on hold while they decide if my iui will be tomorrow. This doctor thinks I should keep stimming and do the procedure on Monday to give us more follies, yet I'm out of Ganarelix used my last one today since we planned on IUI being sooner. Nurse said I could pick up the meds in the Mobile office when I come tomorrow for an u/s, the other office (which is in Gulf Breeze will be closed tomorrow) I don't like dealing with any other doctor but my own, and even a nurse that's not knowing what's going on makes it harder. So she just came back on the phone said she spoke to my RE and he does want to do the procedure tomorrow. ugh so then I asked why did they change the day again and she said the other doctor thought my RE wanted to see more follies, but she said when she showed it to my RE he realized we already had one in the high 20s, anothe at 17mm and even with the hcg shot the 15mm can still have time to grow. I think I want another u/s tomorrow just to give me peace of mind. I did ask her how long does it take for the hcg shot to kick in she said 24-48 hours but we want the sperm to be sitting there waiting. For now I know we have two good follicle potentials...She said last time we did have 5 follies. zin conclusion my own RE thinks we will need to go ahead so IUI is set for tomorrow at 9:30 please please say a little prayer, there is nothing more I need right now. Oh they want me to trigger right now, and dh is at work so I guess I will be giving this shot to myself if I can figure it out, I want to hide somewhere....

Neffi - I'm so sorry for the setback. That's so frustrating. I keep thinking as I read everyone's posts how strong these trials must make us compared to others who children come so easily for.

Sunshine - what a roller coaster. I personally think the trigger shots are the easiest - I never really felt them compared to the other ones. You can do it! Good luck for tomorrow!

Julia-so glad your TE is sending you home with numbing cream. I asked my RE to prescribe Lidocain 2.5/Prilocain 2.5 and it worked wonders. I applied it 15 minutes before doing the PIO and then applied ice for 5 to 10 minutes. This always helped.

I'm wondering if anyone has done the suppository/oral progesterone compared to the shots? I'm doing the oral/suppository combo and I'm not sure I'm liking it. So drowsy it's hard to function.

Any advice?

Just stopping in for a quick update before we head out of town.

Went to RE today and lining measured 7.84. He said we can proceed with transfer. So I just took my ovidrel and will start Crinone in the morning. Transfer is scheduled for Wednesday. Relieved but nervous. Of course all of you know just how I feel, I'm sure.

Will do personals later tonight. Love and baby dust to you all.

Bodie- My bun is hurting, you are right I used a mirror and it wasn't too bad. First time for everything, but isn't it amazing how we learn things by just trying them.

Ninde-Thanks for the hug and what you said sounds like something I would do! I haven't been to a concert since the 90's when dh and I were dating, but I have had shots given in the Wal-Mart parking lot if that isn't bizzare enough.

WeHaveHope- Thank you so much for praying too, I want you to know that means so much to me.

Kala- Would be flying from Germany to GA, about a 10 hr flight. We can't afford tickets home but we can fly military hop for a few $'s.

Okay question... Where is the best place for me to give myself the PIO injection??? My DH usually gives it to me but starting it again tomorrow and I dont feel like waking up so early with him for him to give me the shot so I was thinking that I might try to give it to myself... Not too sure where to give it..... Sorry that I am not doing many personals. Past couple of days has been a mess.... Ahhh... but so excited to get the show on the road...
