Sorry not been posting as we have had problems with our server!!!! It is driving me nuts As we don't know why it's not working.

I am at this moment in Glasgow staying at my sister been down for 2 days and now have only got access to the computer as her 3 kids are now at school !!!! So sorry it is short and sweet ... PS have missed you guys..souris have been thinking and hoping for a BFP!

Have had a great time relaxing with my sis and especially the 2 botles of wine we tanked last night drove down monday and was @ hospital appointment for physio and then yesterday was at homoepathic Hospital for new herbal meds so i can come off my old MS meds for ED. fingers crosssed verigo and pains stay away.

On the ED front it has been a Nightmare trying to get in touch with Barcelona as computer is off line. Adam has had to secretly post e mails at work to Barcelona...and delete them before anyone gets wind of our ED. ( not that i am that bothered about anyone finding out...well just some of his work mates & gossip). We have our 1st appointment now booked as 3rd August ...Upset that we have to wait until then but adam can't get time off as he is covering for his managing directer the whole of July. BUT Excited now that we will get our 1st appointment that will hopfully give us the all clear to set up donor . lisa they choose donor by similar characteristics from a photo they will take of me at 1 st appointment. then i will go on Bc pills while they down reg and stimm donor. if all okay they will fertilise with frozen DH's sperm and then we go over there for 3 days and ET . So i presume it will be end of Sept /beginnng oct before ET???

Thanks for you all asking after Adam ..he is fine now! went back to work on Friday.
I am off home tonight when my parents in law are coming to stay until Monday. Hopefully adam has sorted out our server and comp is back on line now! Adam has been looking after Broc so i presume the house will be a mess and will have to tidy up when PIL ( parents in law) will arrive. But i have managed to chill out a bit down here. Off now to get my long shoulder blade length hair chopped into a trendy new laired bob. I had grown it for the wedding so i could get it put up. Now i can't wait to get it cut. But a bit nervous too!

Lisa- when do you have your next scan? the 3 D oris it 4D. Had a laugh about your boobs i felt the same too. I went from a 34B to a D cup by week 10! I loved it...and so did adam. LOL to you and BIG kicking beanie x x

Hi Girls!!

Sorry for not posting for a while, chicken pox is rife at school so we are all having to cover sick teachers lessons - its been manic!! Roll on the summer holidays!

Jen- how exciting about the ED, sounds like Spain have it sussed with re ED, perhaps the UK can take a leaf out of their book?! You'll be telling us all about your BFP before you know it!

Julie - twins eh? I would love to have twins (only one birth to go through that way!!) and lighter fighter is obviously just that a fighter as he/she has stuck around for this long and you saw the heartbeat (which must be amazing!) so keep positive

Nickie - shame about the job, but there is obviously something bigger and better meant for you. Things happen for a reason so don't worry about it, perhaps it because you are due to get pregnant on your next IUI and it will be easier to stay at your old job for maternity leave!! We'll definitely sort out something for the summer, we can pretend to be 'ladies that lunch' for a day!!

Lucy - how's you? What about the job situation? Had anymore thoughts on using your sisters eggs?

Lisa - bloody hell all that driving? I struggled driving to Nottingham and back, I get so bored driving!! I wish my BB would increase in size - here's hoping for when I get my BFP!! Little beanie wants to keep you up when you want to sleep, perhaps they are trying to train you for when they arrive for real, keeping you up all night!

As for me, I think I spoke too soon for getting AF back on track. I thought she was behaving herself, I ovulated when I should have done, but she was due today and there is no sign of her!!(should I think positively?!!). I have my interview for the new job on Monday, 7 of us have gone for 5 posts, so two people will be disappointed. DH has also gone for one, however 2 people have said that if they don't get it they will leave the school and go elsewhere - I think the head secretly wants one of them to go anyway.

Anyway, only another day to go until the weekend and then DH picks up his new car - an Audi TT!!!Not sure if he will allow me to drive it. but I may sneak the keys and have a spin anyway!!

How did mid wife appt go Jules???

Me, not ready for bed (its 11.30pm now) but should be, i have my uncle collecting us to take us to station at 8am, going to london via train, easier that way.....

Cant wait, Im excited!!! 3 days off now!!!! Yeah!!! Make sure u all watch Ch4 at 9pm, so see the live concert!!! I'll be there!!! I'll give you all a wave!!!

Had feed back from the finance job they said i didnt have experience in excell, how the hell do i get experience if my compnay doesnt use excell..... surely its not that hard to learn....couldnt i have leant excell on thejob???
Do any of you's use excell in your work???

The other thing they said i didnt get any direcction in what i expect in the future...... what does that mean???
Does it mean, i know my future is to be a mum, and couldnt come over that in the interview, even though they know nothing, im not a good actress and so me trying to be career like didnt work, i think they saw straight thro me!!!!

Oh, had some tears over this, but honestly im over it, more pissed off then anything, that ive not learnt much from it and i have wasted time!! the other job, heck knows!!!! but not keen on that one any1..........

Nicki- how was george...saw a bit of it but as P-in-law were here didn't see much of it or BB. Know from BB online that Lesly has now left as well emily getting turfed out. And Chanelle is snogging Ziggy. ( why did Emily call him Zach????) Think it's been okay so-far and already been shouting at the tv so it must be good on some level. I don't know exell but adam does. he says unless you knw it it can take some learning. Like you said i think they may have guessed that your goal of the moment is to be a MUM!!!! I do think your right job willl come your way whenyou want it, so chin up!!!!! x x as for my hair it is longer than Posh's 1st bob style and i do like it ! Hair is so much easier to handle now!
Hope your scan is A okay tomorrrow and all cysts gone...where are you going in Italy in July?

julie how was your mid wife app? Did you get to hear the 2 heart beats again? Hope the nausea is better ,if not did the midwife suggest anything x x

My parents in law have left after 4 days. It was fun but exausting and our 2 dogs didn't get on this time. Broc had stayed with them when we got married in Cananda and all was okay, but their dog who was boss is now scared of Broc ! Broc now taking advantage and harassing her typical male!!!!!The house is a tip and i have loads of washing , hoovering and shopping needed done. But i am so knacked it is all gonna wait. My own fault too many late wine drinking nights and 3 full days exploring the area with them. So will be laying low tomorrow...trying to build up energy for the week then...
Next weekend we are off to friends for a pre-birthday meal and then Adam has something up his sleeve for my birthday surprise. We are going to Mum and dad's on Sunday in Glasgow for a family get together/meal as it's Fathers Day as well as the day before my birthday. well so i thought so anyway but when i spoke to mum tonight she said she forgot and would rather go out??????
But i do know next weekend will be a busy exausting one too!!!! So will be having early nights all week. ah the life of a jetsetter you say...Try telling that to my EYE BAGS!!!!!!

Nikki - it is a real pain in the ar*e about the job...the no experience no job thing is a viscious circle. I do use excel at work but only on spreadsheets that are already set up. setting them up is difficult I think but I agree they should either teach you or should have said it was a requirement of the job and not offered an interview!!! Hope you are feeling better and George was the tonic you needed. How was the scan???

Jen - I haven't watched much B B either. Usually in bed!! Managing to keep up with bits of it tho. Glad you like the new hair do!

The midwife appointment was just form filling! Took my blood pressure but that was it...thought would do weight and wee etc but not back there now til week 16. I am getting sicker. Dont get me wrong I am not BAD but I am now sick once a day and it is usually at night. Wish it was first thing because I do feel tons better after!

that sounds bad my heart goes out to you. There is nothing worse than feeling sick all the time. I do know how you feel as when my eyes go with MS i get nausea and vertigo ( like sea sickness) and it's yeuky. I know if it gets bad that denise ( someone who was preg on here 18mths ago) had meds to take from her GP for bad nausea with her twins. Hope it gets better soon. What have you tried????

On a positive note it does mean that cause your feeling that sick fighter embie is sticking in there with Big embie X X
If it does get bad take time off work and rest...you need to look after the 3 of you x x
The midwife appointment sounds a bit of a downer that it was only form filling...will you get another scan at 16wks or will it just be more blood pressure????

I picked up all my results from gp's today. And we have booked the flights for 2nd aug. Just staying the one night our appointment is 9.30 on the friday 3rd, then we fly back 6pm that night. It means Broc will be in kennels for 4 days. We are hopfully going to try him out before then but need to source out local kennels 1st. We will look for a hotel tonight, The clinic IM has been really good and e-mailed us loads of hotels and metro info so hopfully as it's mid week we should be able to get a hotel close to the clinic...will let you know.

Hi guys

Jen - good news about the flights. Its all so real now huh? I take it Broc needs 4 days in kennels because of the travelling you need to do to get to and from airport? Where are you flying from? Glad to see you are still jet setting - love to hear all about what you are doing next and where you are going. Its great to socialise and have things planned all the time, just don't burn your self out honey xx I'm sure your mum didn't mean what she said - maybe its because there's a wee surprise in there. Only 7 days to go hun til the big one - you feeling OK about it? In answer to your questions - little one doesn't keep me awake yet but because I am up at toilet twice a night, I am awake a lot so always wait to see if I get a few kicks. If I do, I find it so comforting that I lie awake to feel them so I keep myself awake!! My 4d scan is 3 weeks on sunday - we are taking the grandmas along too. Can't wait

Julie - I agree with Jen - you need to take it easy and look after no.1 so that you can look after the 3 of you!! I would take time off if you are feeling terrible because you want little embie to have the best possible chancealong with big one. I remember feeling so yucky all the time, then it was the headaches, thirst ... like a permanent hangover but without the great night before!! I also used to feel worse in the evenings. Take care kiddo, it will ease. xx

Nicki hun, as per my text, why not try enroll on an evening course than does excel? I was looking for you at the concert - I am so envious you went you lucky thing. Only got to watch a bit of it. My mum was through and just HAD to watch final of Looking for Joseph. The guy Keith who was the runner up is from where I live, ie Dalkeith and the Tesco he works in is my local supermarket! How did the scan go today hun? xx

Kate - Audi TT - fab car, would love one! If you get your promotion you should get one too LOL!! Did AF arrive?? Keeping things crossed she didn't and its hopeful news? .. xx

Souris hun, glad to hear you so positive about your new journey ahead. I am so sorry it didn't work for you but so happy that your going onto adopt and become a mum. It really doesn't matter how we get there, its the end result - ie that precious little one, that counts. Best of luck with all the adoption appts. Keep us posted xx

My mum was through at the weekend - she bought us the pram on saturday. One of these 3 in 1 systems where you can put car seat, pram or pushchair onto the chassis. Folds up really neat so hopefully it will fit in a smaller car than our golf as hoping to buy a run around for me. Dh doesn't have easy access to public transport from work and can work til half 8 at night so we really need 2 cars.

Sunday we went to Botanic Gardens with my mum and had a walk and lunch there then mum stayed over again and went home today. She is doing fine, on tablets for slightly raised cholesterol but looking great.

I am so feeling the heat a the mo especially my feet which are permanently burning. Wish I could work in a bikini but not a pretty sight!! Also (.) (.) started leaking the other day wasn't expecting that one but taking it as a sign that all is well for when I come to try breast feeding. Right I'm off now as at work. Internet and PC in general not working properly.

Lisa good to hear you are so upbeat even with some sleepless nights and leaking (.)(.)!!!!. that would have shocked me too! No one tells you about that! broc will need 4 days in kennels but i suppose it will help him see how well he is looked after and behave a bit better!!!! Not that he is bad, just at the dog equvilent of terrible teens. He sees another dog in the distance and he is offffffffffffff to play with them, totally ignors the recall command all of a sudden Love him to bits tho!!!
On the 40th i think you are right about the surprise thing as i caught adam on the phone to my mum last night when he wass meant to be on the play station. ( iwas watching BB) on turning 40...I really am fine about it I don't feel 40...I was more worried turning 30! Am truly okay with it ( just as well as we can't turn back the clocks) it is only a number and i feel like i am still in my 20's most of the time. or until i get up off a chair and groan with pain or look in the mirror and spot another wrinkle Ahhhhhhhh! I think being so ill last year made me realise that life is too short and enjoy the good times and life when and while you can Think having IM ( donor clinic) appointment set up really helps too. It seems far more important to me. I am excited about it as it's been a year since last ivf. I soooooooooo want to be a Mum.

anyway enough about my ramblings... see my last post for personals...

Hi Girls

Just a quickie as I have to get back to my VI formers (they will not work unless I beat them with a stick!!). I got the internal promotion, as did DH so its a double celebration in the Rodulfo household tonight!! I feel some wine coming on! AF also arrived, although it was very strange. The first day was slightly heavier than spotting, day 2 it stopped and then day 3 again slightly heavier than spotting!! Any ideas? At least I am back on track for tmt in July/Aug!
