Donna - 4 boys, WOW! I have a 6yr old girl that took us like 11 years to conceive. No IVF with her but I had to have brain surgery to remove a Pituitary tumor and I got pg 4 mos later. She's my miracle baby.

I feel like a big crying baby, but after almost 8 years of trying to get pregnant waiting for an AF to start (in a couple of days) seams like a century from now. When I start my meds I think it will be a different kind of anxiety, but at least I’ll have feeling like poking myself with injection makes difference.

You guys are great…It takes courage to share things like this.

Charlie-Good Luck Today!!! When is you test day???

Donna-AF arrived…WWWHHHOOOWWWHHHOOO…unfortunately my kids know what we are doing but I do not do it in front of them. We are trying to include them side they are having a hard time at their dads. They are really excited and so sweet to me when I feely down and sick.

Nicolamark-I do it in the bathroom, just because that is where I draw it up, then I get right back in bed.

Jovigal-Wow that is wonderful…now she is getting a baby brother or sister.

I have 3 boys-17, 12 (almost 13) and 10 ½ .

Well I just got back from the Dr. I had BW and U/S. The nurse only measured 6 on each side and they were at 9+mm-12mm. She seemed really happy with this. I do not know my estrogen level yet she will call me today by 4p and let me know and change my meds if necessary. I feel so fat, I tried on 3 pair of pants this morning and none of them fit. I only have about 3 pair that I can wear right now and that sucks with 7 days in a week…LOL Today is a better day than I have had I a while. I feel tired but positive!

Hey Ladies,

Steph - congrats on a great US. That is really great news. Like I said, I can't even get in all my pants now!!! ( prior weight still from previous stims etc) Sounds like you are having a really good response. I'll bet your swelling will drop off during 2ww You're getting so close!!!!!

CroElla - Hey girl. I'm in the same mood. AF is taking ages to come and I'm real pms'y. I hope hte stims will pick up the mood as it feels like doing something so directly to get our babies. 8 years is a long time. We'll be at stims in no time. Are you going to down-reg or straight to stims?

Jovigal - Wow! I've seen pit operations. That's a great story getting pregnant so soon afterwards with your little girl. She is a miracle. Send those girl vibes my way. We are so hoping for a little girl. I suppose twins boy and girl would be just fine  Why not wish for the moon eh? Let me know how your report comes out. I'm curious about that subject. I'm not sure about the FSH rising with one ovary. Good question. My right ovary gets paltry blood supply and hasn't beent he same since my ruptured ectopic. Now lefty has to ris to the occasion. My fsh was OK before the ectopic, and we found it was high afterwards. hmmmm. Interesting.

Nicki - only on this site is "where do you do it" related to a medical procedure!! I've done it all over the place. I'm pretty comfortable with needles and stick myself where ever it's conveniant with the stim meds. When the progesterone shots come along that's a different story all together. Ice Ice and again I say Ice. OUCH! My but has never been the same. I've got scar tissure on the my hips from so many IM injections. I take those lying down in bed so the muscle is relaxed. But, I find walking for a bit sometime after the injection is good to keep the muscle from cramping. I'm glad to hear how good you are feeling about starting IVF this year. 2007 is a great year to get our BFPs! :D

Rebecca - Sending hte follie fairy. Grow follies Grow. I be your next scan will look great. I always had a few surprise us before the end on every cycle. Don't lose hope. Keep loving those hard working ovaries. It's quality not quantity :D

Charlie - STICKY STICKY STICKY! How are you? Hope dh is pampering you well. Feet up and no worries. Tons of prayers to the wee ones snuggling in.

Well I need to do work that I have zero interest in....Hard to feel motivated. Hope my mood picks up with stimming. It's a nice cloudy day here in LA (can you tell I'm from the northwest or hwat?) and I'd rather sit in front of a fire watching movies. Maybe I'll find a way to work that in later today.

Hey Steph,

I live in West LA. Definately be careful about hotels in Hollywood. They tend to be either really nice or scary!! The ones to stay away from tend to be the usually nice chain hotels. They tend to be a bit seedy in the Hollywood area.

Here's one I've been to that is a great location and really full of fun old Hollywood pic's etc. A very cool historic hotel.

This one is supposed to be nice. More modern and a more westside location I think.

A good website with some fun historical sites etc

Where are you leaving from port? Sounds so lovely. My dh and I have been saying we'll go on a cruise for about 5 yeras now. Sounds like a great trip. Will you put pics on your myspace account? I can vicariously vacation  I'll ask around for more hotels from friends.

Happy stimming!

Hey CroElla,

I'm sorry about the spring break in your clinic. Do you think AF will come before April 3rd? My RE is gone the last 2 weeks of April, so kindof similar. We either cycle now or have to wait 2 cycles for May. This is the first time I'm skipping down-reg (poor responder  ) and going straight to Follistim after AF arrives. I've always done BCP before. Hoping to get a bit more activity in the ovaries this time. I'll be on Follistim, Antagon and Reponex. AF is due Tue or Wed this week. BCPs are very good and recomended for most people (depending on your history). Sounds like they would do Lupron (an alternative to Antagon) after the 2 weeks of BCP. Where abouts in San Diego are you? I lived there a year and love La Jolla and the Zoo.

Daly, it looks like we are having similar schedule…I am expecting my AF in Wednesday, but since my body responded psychosomatically in the past, I have a feeling that it will hold on until 3rd of April (hehehhe, that is my wishful thinking) …My darling hubby and I love on Hillcerst; have been in San Diego since 2003. I love every second of it when I’m not homesick…
