Ok guys I am feeling very bloated. I look maybe 4-5 months preggo. I have to sit down slowly and adjust my body so I am in very little pain. I have been in bed most of my day just because walking is so painful. I know my body wasn't used to producing so many follicles but is this normal to feel like this. Last 2 cycles I was up and going that same day. I was planning on calling RE tomorrow if I still feel like this.

Hello ladies!

Well, AF finally showed her head, and my education apt is on Thursday. I am so hoping that i made it in time for the june cycle. I started BCP on Friday. I find out on Thursday when i start Lupron.

Rosario - That is just awesome, 20 eggies! For my first cycle i had 22 eggies my first time. The bloating for me after ER lasted about 3 - 4 days.

Rosario- my first cycle, I was back to work the day after ER, don't remember it being bad at all...this past time was a different story. I responded much better to my stims and had a lot more follies, and the day after ER, I was in a ton of pain, could barely walk around. But trust me, it gets better, by 2 days after ER, I was able to get around much better, and I was completely fine by my 3 day transfer.

Rosario,
I would call your doctor NOW. Your symptoms sound like OHSS. I have never had this but I know someone who did and this totally sounds like OHSS. The fact that you produced 20 eggs also makes me think OHSS.

OHSS is super serious, please call today just to be safe.

Rosario - I got 21 eggs and it tookmea couple of days to feel ok. It hurt most when I tried to relax! Hope you feel better quickly.

Wishfull27 - We had secondary flooding where water in the foundations was slowly soaking into the bricks and wood. The damage is as bad as full flooding. We have been out of house for about a year. It has been quite stressful being in a different house and sorting everything out with insurance. Sould all be tied up in the next month though.

Tanya123 - What sort of protocol are you on? It looks like our dates may be quite similar. I started BCP last week and start down reg on 9th of June.

CT_Michele - How are things going with the family? Hopefully you can get a chance to relax. I know we will find money and I will have to try and not to think about it.

mikeandjess - I am sure it will be worth it in the end. The money stress is another factor to this whole thing that I would love to go away. I am not even sure how much it will cost.

Well this weekend we went to my father in laws house with all the family for his 60th. Well we all went out to the park with all of my nieces and nephews (from Matt's side) in three cars! On the way my sister-in-law drove into the back of our car. Luckily no one was hurt! We just need to fix our car.

Then I phoned my mun today and found out that one of my nieces (on my side) who is 21 is pregnant with her third child!

Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend.

Rosario, I suffered (terribly) from OHSS with my fresh cycle in 2006, and I think what you're describing is certainly some form of it. I'd definitely call in and describe your symptoms. It's really nothing to mess with. Rather than go into great detail, I'll just say that I ended up in the hospital for 8 days!!! No need to be a martyr, trust me!

AFM, I had my baseline u/s and bw today. Everything looks good, so I continue on my lupron and start Estrace today. I'll follow that protocol until my FET. I was scheduled for Thursday, June 11th, but evidently there are a lot of fresh cycles scheduled for that week, so I may be pushed to Friday, June 12th. I'm alright with that. I'm done teaching on the 10th, so I told them any day after that was fine with me! I'm trying to go with the flow on everything as to limit any extra stress!

Thinking of you all!

Hi All -

Rosario - I'll add my 2 cents as well that this could be OHSS. I had it too, and your symptoms sound just like it. Please don't delay... call your doctor.

Ange - Glad nobody was hurt in the wreck. Hope you are doing ok with the announcement of your niece. Hugs to you just in case.

Michelle - any chance you could add another section to THE LIST? This would be for those of us doing FETs. Since we won't move up to the injectables for IVF, maybe we could having a section for Started Estrogen for FET. It is kinda like stimming... just for the lining. I think I just want to see myself moving along. I think Sarah (SBR) is there now too. Totally ok if you leave it as is!!! I know it is a lot of work!

Prayin--Hope you get to start Lupron tomorrow. One step closer to a BFP, right?

Tanya and Wishfull - Yippee for AF (sure don't say that too often!) Wishfull, you'll be FETing right after me... I'm on the 3rd.

Stay Positive - I hope all goes well when you do the genetic testing. I'm sure it is disappointing to be delayed by a month, but some clinics are now suggesting freezing all right away and doing an FET in a month (as you would be doing) because they have much higher success rates. Apparently your estrogen levels are much more receptive during an FET than fresh. So, this could work out much to your benefit.

Sunshine - I'm not sure what a short/flare protocol is... but hopefully that means less time until your BFP!

Sarah - Did you and DH get away for the weekend? We just celebrated 9 years last week. Hope you are all back to good health.

Hope you are all well!

So guys by 5am this morning I was calling the doctor on call. I wasn't able to sleep the whole night. I kept moaning and crying. By 12 RE's nurse called to come ASAP for bw and u/s. Ultrasound showed ovaries very enlarged and some fluid but not much. RE says since I have never made so many eggs this is just a way my body is dealing with it. RE told me to relax a couple of more days and that it should get better in the next few days. I am just going to stay put and take it easy. I am definitely going to let Dh spoil me a bit. BTW not all 20 eggs where mature which leaves us right now with 8 embies growing. I am scheduled for tomorrow at 12:20 but if all goes well I will be pushed to Friday!

Rosario, Glad to hear they don't think it's OHSS, but I'd still watch your symptoms! Good luck with the transfer tomorrow!

hello ladies!!

Rosario - so glad to hear that is not OHSS. Like sarah said, keep an eye on it. Good luck with your transfer!! Sending you BFPs!!!!

Ange - I will def let you know on Thursday after my apt. At this point, i'm not sure when they are going to start me on lupron or any other meds for that matter. My last cycle i went through, i started meds about 2 weeks after AF, so it's quite possible that we may be on the same dates/cycle.

Glad that no one was hurt when your sis in law hit the back of your car. My cousin who is also 21 is pregnant with her 2 kid (i know!)

Sarah, i will keep my fingers crossed for you that everything goes along smoothly!

have a good evening!!

Hello all -

Had an US today, and my lining is looking great - 12mm. They wanted it to be at least 6. All is looking well so far for my transfer on June 3rd... 1 week from today! The next hurdle is getting my 2 embies to defrost perfectly. They will be thawing on my birthday (June 2) so I consider that to be a good sign!

Hugs to all!
