April/May Buddies??

Hello Girls,
Some of you might remember mer posring a week ago. Muy cycle got canceled due to my cyct (which I did not understand, 3 of the Dr's were Ok with 2cm size but day before stimiing the 4th Dr saw it and canceled my cycle).
Needless to say I was i
44ed.
The good news is the April/May buddy group. i stop BCP on Tuesday 4/25. On Thursday i go for u/s. I fthe cyst is still there, I will have it aspirated on Friday. In any case I should start smims on 4/29 with EWR around 5/10.
I am glad I can be back and posting. The group has grown a lot. I ned to g oback and read everything since I am part of it again:)

Hi All!! I'm up from bedrest I just could not lay there anymore...my et went well yesterday they put back one good looking 7 cell embryo, the other two didn't make it past 3 cells!! I go for beta on April 29th which just happens to be my best friends wedding day Holy Mackeral is it going to be a stressful day or what??? hope evryone is doing well any tips on what to do ar eat during 2ww?? I've been eating tons of pineapple!!

Just wanted to pop on and say hi to everyone I got the go ahead to start last week and as I am on a short protocol I started stims on monday.

This thread looks really busy and I will try to catch up soon I promise but I have had the worst headache since starting tx so can't really focus very well tonight.

Hope everyone is doing well and fingers crossed for lots of BFP's.

Prissy - thats great news - 9 eggs is fantastic, well done hun. Looking forward to hearing how many have fertilized. So is it tomorrow when you go for your little embies putting back where they belong or do you wait a few days.?

Carolyn - Wow I can't believe how far along you are already, you won't have many days left of stimmies will you? Ooohhh just think of that surprise at the end of this. Have you had a scan yet to see how many follies you have - I am sending you a follie fairy to boost them. Good Luck hun.

Wendy- Hope your alright, where are you with your tmt are you still down regging or have you started stims yet (sorry its hard to keep up) Take Care

Sita - Welcome back - Acupuncture is very good when going through IVF, I also felt tired and quite moody when I was on stims, felt like BAD PMT, you'll be fine, hope the acupuncture works.

Brenda - God knows where I have been, but I didn't even realise you were on 2ww - well you will have to follow in Danielle's footsteps and get lovely . I always found the first week to be worst for some reason, don't worry it'll soon be time to test. Good Luck Hun.

Natalie - Hope your doing OK. I ahven't done down regging so I don't know what its like but I can imagine it feels like it drawn out, don't worry it'll be your baseline scan very soon.

Tanya - I just wanted to wish you lots of luck with your tmt, it is very exciting when you start isn't it.

Vessi - my cyst buddie - hope your doing alright, I do hope everything goes acording to plan and that the cyst has gone by time you have your scan, even if it hasn't at least they will remove it. I am hoping my has gone by sat, if it hasn't then I will also have to put my tmt back a month. Good Luck Vessi.

Sammy - Well done, your little embie is just where he/she belongs, snuggling in for the next 9 months - Good Luck for the 29th April. Wow your best friends wedding the same day, that must be a sign....! Let keep this thread a Positive thread and bring on a BFP. (No pressure)

Ellie - Hi, great news that you can start stims on Mon, I am hoping to start them Sat/Sun also on a short cycle so looks like we'll be on same schedule.

Well everyone not much to report on me only that I'm still holding out for Saturday morning to go for my scan, providing AF arrives... My drugs arrived this morning, so I hope I can start them this weekend.

Carolyn -Thanks for the advice about the pen injections. I will ask the Dr tomorrow. I'm supposed to start stimmies tomorrow night after my first scan-Its interesting how the treatments differ. I have been on buserelin for 13 days as of tomorrow.

Brenda- Hang in there. Take it easy. IT's good work can keep you distracted. thanks about the gonal F pen.

Sammy- congrats that little embie is home!! The book I am reading by Dr. Alice Domar ("Conquering Infertility") (says to treat yourself as much as possible-get a manucure, a massage or just read a fun magazine on lawn chair. Do things that make you happy. Sending you postiive vibes!!!

Cyot- How was your baseline today? I'm so curious about mine that's tomorrow.

Vessi- that's good news- after they take care of it- you'll be on track. I had to have a fibroid removed- knowing that your body will be in tip top shape for IVF- is the best option although the heat ache of the delay can be hard. Hang in there.

Hi Tanya- welcome to the group.

Natalie- sorry to hear your period is so painful. Have you tried a hot bean bag to relieve some pain?

I'm still down regging, seems to be going on for ages. I've been on the injections for 13 days with another 8 to go until my scan and I'm feeling increasingly like a pin cushion

Have just really enjoyed reading all the posts and news. There is so much happening right now. I am wishing you all lots of luck.

Completely knackered right now so afraid no personals today other than to say thanks for all the postive vibes and especially to Lucy for the follie fairy. That was so cute.

I just have two injections tomorrow and then 2 on Friday ahead of my first stimmies scan at Day 9 of stimmies on Friday. My tummy is quite swollen and aches so hope that is my bits doing there job. Plus feel completely shattered so something must be happening!

Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing well and are in good spirits. Well, out of the 9 eggs that were retrieved 7 of them were mature and 6 of them fertilised. So, we go in Friday, April 21, to discuss whether they will be put back in that day, which would be day 3, or Sunday which would be day 5.

CYOT: I have also read that fresh pineapples contain enzymes that help aid with implantaion. I picked one up tonight. I think that you have to also eat the core.

Does anyone else have any tips??
