No, Lupron doesn't have to be refrigerated. It should be in room temperature though, no more than 76F as far as I remember. Some of the meds, like Follistim, have to be in the fridge.

Guys
Hope you are all good!
Welcome to Sarah V & Jamie & Duane! and good luck!

I to be perfecly honest cannot keep up with this forum anymore...I just dont have the brain space

So please dont think I am being arrogant or quite I just genuinelly cant keep up, I will keep an eye on you all, and I wish you all well! Here's to plenty of BFP'S, fingers crossed everyone!

Jeck, I hope you are chilling!!

Erin I hope it went well.

AMD, keep your chin up china life is pants sometimes, but you'll have the last laugh when you give birth to beautiful babies....

Cheeky Monkey - Hows it going? good I hope, haven't forgotten you!

Fed7281, I can empathise with that 1, I had a friend and member of casual staff leave work this morning as I have't been my normal self...I actually think this is about religion and she either doesn't understand as why should she, fertility was easy for her (thankfully) and certain religions do not agree with what I am,what I do for a living and now how I bloody conceive...its hilarious! people are so judgemental!!!! Its always the people with kids who have a bloody opinion though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As you may have guessed the mood swings are kicking in, i am losing copious amounts of blood and feel like I need a good boxing match    But tomorrow is a whole new day!!

Jordan22 is it you who is having your baseline on the 19th? I have completely forgotten, if so not long and if it not you then whoever it is I hope it seems quicker for you then me, this cycle is dragging

All those I have forgotten apologies I will need a secretary at this rate!

Take care and I hope you are all smiling and positive, psitive I am smiling I am not :x LOL!!!

I am so sad and lost now. I went to the RE today for my consult, they read my last operative report from a cystectomy I had in August and he said I am going to need another laproscopic surgery next month before I can begin IVF. I guess the doctor that performed the surgery noted that I had fluid in my tubes but did not shut them off completley. PArt of one of the tubes was removed in a 2004 surgery which appears was not done correctly! THe RE said that the fluid found would bring the percentage down of a successful IVF. So I have to wait for AF then when I get her I have to call and schedule my surgery. I dont know where I belong now because I have no idea when they are going to start this process. I feel like I am running into a brick wall and I cant move. I am was optimistic that I was going to get a start date and everything was going to be fine, I was so wrong. Please help me regain hope! I havent even started yet and already I feel so low.

Darling, think of this as a positive! they aren't just rushing you through they are doing everything they can to give you a positive result, imagine if they just let you go ahead now and the cycle had to be aborted you would be even lower than you are now....it is a wicked world we live in but everything does happen for a reason! Get your tubes sorted, and I believe you stand a better chance (thats what they always say to me, apparently losing my tubes has increased our IVF chances) it is awful when you cant go ahead as hoped, but it will so be worth all this when you get that BFP!!!!! If its just the laparoscopy you need then in a few weeks you will be right back on schedule, with menopausal old me!

Chin up-dont let the buggers get you down!!!

Hi Again,

Fed7821 - I just wanted to post to say I am so sorry that you did not get the news you were hoping for! I can understand how you feel, when my first cycle of IVF was cancelled in August due to OHSS we had thought that we would be able to try again in Sept, when I went for my blood test they then told me that they would not let me start till at least end oct/early nov!! At the time I felt as though my whole world had ended and that I would not get through that 2 month wait, but here I am and I am here because of a wonderful DH and all the brilliant people on this board! You just have to keep reminding yourself that this is to give you the best possible chance and that it would be better than going through your IVF and getting a BFN because you didn't have it done!
I can imagine that none of this will help you to feel any better at the moment because it didn't for me but in a few days when you have had time to think I hope that you can find a way to realise that it will all be for the best in the end when you get that BFP!!!
Try and keep busy and try so hard to stay positive, it will come sooner than you think, I am sending you lots of hugs and remember we are all here for you!
(((((((((HUGS))))))))))))

Angellica - I too get lost on these boards, but luckily I am not working so have loads of time to try and work them out!
I am feeling not bad! but I still have a bad back and still waiting for my appointment which is now a week away, it is going slow but I know it will be here before I know it, just hoping that I get the news I want!!!
How are you doing? by the sounds of you post you are not doing very good!! I hope that your new day does bring a better mood for you otherwise it sounds like your DH will have to get himself some boxing gloves! LOL
I know you will always keep positive but try and get that smile back too!! :D

Take Care

If you did IVF now then chances are you would just get a BFN.. this way you have MUCH better chances... hang in there.. I know it SUCKS... but we are here and feel free to stick around here if you want...

 A NO GO for me today.... this is cycle day 21 for me and I have a cyst on my 1 and only ovary.... All I got out of my meeting today with RE is DOOM....

-I'm 36 with the ovary of a 38 year old!
-My FSH is 14!!! Really bad for someone my age!
-RE not sure if I even ovulated this month!
-endimotrin (sp?) lining not good!

I guess I'm a hopeless case.

Sorry, so negative, I appologize. He said to come back when AF arrived for another scan. If cyst is gone, they will continue with a short cycle, whatever that's called. RE said they wouldn't use the Lupron now, too suppressing probably for my cycle. That would have been nice to know before I got the meds!

Anyone else have a cycle cancelled because of a cyst? What do they do?

Thanks everyone for all of your kind words. I am trying to stay positive and I am feeling a little better. I just dont understand why the Dr that performed my surgery, noticed this issue, and knew I was going to need IVF treatment, would not have taken care of closing my tubes. The new RE didnt seem to get it either. It just ticks me off to know if this was done when it should have been I would be on my way.

Thanks for all the hugs and I hug you all right back as I definatley need them.

Jovigal, I am so sorry! There is still hope that the cyst will go away. Are you taking the BCP? That helps shrink or even eliminate cysts. Let us both try and stay positive together and use eachother as a support! HUGS TO YOU!!!!

Hope everone else is doing well!

Erin, thanks for your kind words. I'm so sorry for being so down. I'm normally not like this, just a sad day. I'm sorry that your cycle is being delayed also. Things will work out for the best for us, I'm sure.... (I'm feeling much more positive tonight) and no, i'm not on BCP and RE didn't even mention those today. I think he's hoping it will go away on it's own. They don't want to suppress my used up ovary any more than they have to.

BTW, my poison ivy is still spreading but I was able to get a physician friend of mine to call me in some steroids. I started the meds today so SURELY the itching will end soon...

I hope everyone else's cycles are going well. Tonia, so glad you were able to start your lupron today. Are you having any side effects yet?

Lupron shot was fine.. It is like second nature this time.. lol last cycle I sat there for at least 30 min before I talked myself into sticking that little needle in my tummy... lol .. now it only took me 3 second.. lol I didn't have any side effects last IVF so I hope I don't get any this time.. I am really irritated this evening but that miight noat have anything to do with the meds.. lol

Hi everyone!
I also am going to have a hard time keeping up with this thread! Please don't think I'm ignoring you if I miss some of your posts.

Erin,
So sorry you didn't get the go ahead today. Image I hope that your doctors get everything squared away so that you can have a successful IVF. Cheer up, things will get better.

Jovigal,
Image Sorry all this is happening for you. Hope you get the poison ivy under control. Aveeno makes an oatmeal bath powder. I did that daily when I had poison oak, it helps relieve the itch. If you have oatmeal and a food processor in the kitchen, you can make your own powder. I will pray that your cyst will be gone at your next scan and you will be able to go on and start your cycle. We are all here for you!

Today I went for my first acupuncture apointment. It was weird. It's really hard to relax and stay still with all those needles in you. Are you supposed to feel numbness and cramps while you lay there? I know it usually takes several treatments before you feel a differnce. It's not quite infertility treatment. My ins doesn't cover that. I just went in for help with stress and anxiety and some shoulder pain I've had for awhile and I also told her I was going through fertility treatments. The Dr said that my energy was low. She said the treatment would help with my energy and also help a little with infertility. I don't exactly know what it will do for me, but with a $10 copay, it could be more than worth it. If she helps me with my stress maybe I'll pay for Infertility treatment, if this cycle doesn't work.
Oh and still no AF. But I feel that she may be just around he corner.

As you can see from my signature, I was cancelled because of the cyst. I developed it after BC and Lupron. The doc. thinks that somehow birth control didn't work. I guess it was an ovulation cyst. What kind of cyst did you get? If it's an ovulation cyst, then it will disappear on it's own soon. I got cancelled becasue my cyst was producing estrogen. My level was really high. Sometimes they continue with the cycle if the cyst is small and doesn't produce any hormones.
My FSH is borderline for my age. I'm 30 but was told that my ovaries are as a 36 year old's. (mine was 9.3 one cycle, then 8 something another cycle. It's weird but it changes :? ) They told me I need to get pregnant as soon as possible. Yeah, easy to say....
