Aunty,
This is the info I found....

In a similarly designed study (prospective randomized, same 3 protocols), Kyono and colleagues[15] found that significantly fewer ampoules of gonadotropins were used in the hCG group. The number of follicles, fertilization rate, and the number and quality of follicles were comparable between the 3 groups. Pregnancy rate was the highest in the hCG group (61.9% vs 47.1% and 42.1%). The incidence of OHSS was significantly reduced with late follicular phase hCG administration.

Lee and colleagues[16] reviewed the case of a woman with PCOS undergoing IVF. She was stimulated according to the standard long protocol. She was also placed on metformin before stimulation. As she demonstrated hyper-response during the first couple of days of stimulation and her estradiol level was elevated already on Day 6, her rFSH dose was cut back and ultimately was replaced by very low-dose hCG (10 IU per day). She successfully completed the cycle, had 17 mature oocytes retrieved and 2 blastocysts transferred; she currently has an ongoing twin pregnancy. While she was receiving hCG only, there was continued growth of the large follicles and a reduction in the number of the small follicles. She did not develop OHSS during her treatment.

Previous studies and studies discussed at the meeting all have shown that late follicular administration of hCG can maintain the development and maturation of midsize follicles. As the small follicles have fewer LH receptors, their development cannot be maintained. The net effect will be similar number of mature follicles and oocytes when compared with other stimulation protocols but lower incidence of OHSS. Hyper-responders (women with PCOS) could particularly benefit from this protocol. The exact dose of hCG that is able to maintain follicle growth needs to be established.

Hi Girls,

I feel like i don't want do test. I called nurse yesterday asking about test procedure. I told her they shouldn't not take the test on me. Lets wait 3 months, if my stomach bigger it means i am pregnant. I feel like chicken

Anyway, I read Rome 4 last night. This thought came. I hope you understand. Remember when high school or college? You were having final exam. You studied hard. On the day of test, I got up from bed very exciting. You felt like you knew what question your teacher would asked. and you were pretty sure this time you will get at least A-. On the day, they released the result, You came to school very exciting. And you saw what you were expecting, an A+. Sometimes it happened to me when i was in high school and college. I wish I could have the same feeling when go to clinic for test. I guess, that is what we call 'Faith'. Right? I feel Im lack of it right now. Especially when my dream last night was i had my period coming. After stim i got so many dreams, i became a bank robber with Dh, apprentice candidate while Donald Trump was an old chinese person, etc. All didn't make sense. But last night, the dream sounds true.

Anyway, don't worry about me. I'll be fine. I just to share my thoughts last night. (i hope you understand :D :D ) Im on my way to sunday service for knocking heaven door. This time i bring my hammer. :D :D If I break the door,. Sure God will understand. He is very good and fun also :D :D

Happy sunday everybody. God bless u all

Luv, Jemma

Aunty,
Yes I am in New York, I am only Hoping this is the right protocol for me. It is 5AM and I can not sleep, I have an 8:00 appointment. This protocol is very popular in Italy from what I have seen and they have had good numbers with it, Of course like Ghost said they haven't really posted the negative findings.
Thanks for the encouragement and I too hope this is it for me. Where are you in New York?

Ladies Ladies Ladies,
TMI but have to ask. Did you get "loose Bowel Movements" during stims? Sorry for the TMI BUT I really dont remembe my symptoms. I will write later.
Love you all.....

Hello Everyone!

Lisa good luck today.

Jemima - you will be fine. Lots of baby dust to you!

Welll....Thank you ladies for all of your kind words. I am feeling better today about everything. Still sad I am still very blessed. I am getting my daughter dressed for her soccer game (yes she has turned me into one dangerous soccer mom!) and I realized how very blessed I am. Another baby will happen. Whether it is through adoption or IVF or FET or natural. I have put all of my trust in God. So, I will be on the board keeping you lovely ladies updated on my next FET cycle. I have 14 lovely embies left. I am thinking about transferring three. Mayme too many? Not sure. I am going to make my doctor feel bad because he told me not to transfer two this time. But since you can not live in the past we will move on to a brighter day. Have a happy Sunday everyone!!!!!!

Jackie, How was the park with Graham and DH? Its turning cold here, about 50 degrees. So it hard to go out side in the mroning to walk because it even colder then like 40??!! Is it cold where you are?

Auntie, Chinese is so good, but.....you deserved it!! Just be good today and drink lots to flush all the sodium out. You are doing so great with your diet. Hi Becky...

Thank you very much. Im okay. Of course when lonely i cried. But my Embryologyst already told me b4 my success rate was low. Well, U have to see her face when she saw me on clinic. She was late, I was talking with some staff. Laughing. She looked happy when she saw me. She thought i was taking the test today. She felt that i would get BFP cause so far No AF. She shocked when I told the reason i came cause AF came.
My DR told exactly like she said b4. The age of my embryo was not the same with The age of endometrium. He said like I want to throw a ball to my friend who was in the train. So train ran in constant speed. At the time the door of the train opened, the ball was not ready to throw. So when my endometrium opened, my lovely embryos was not ready to get in. That was he said. :D :D

Don't worry Beck. Our time will be come. Now I can't wait to see ur BFP. :D :D Good luck to you....

God bless,
Jemma
