Okay.....I have a TMI question....yesterday and today I have the slippery feel when I wipe. I'm worried that maybe I am trying to ovulate. My RE did say that I had a few follicles when he did the u/s, but they were small and nothing to worry about. I 'm assuming that an ED protocol is like an FET. I was wondering if anyone else has had this? Also.....When I went to do my shot last night, I realized that I didn't put it in the fridge from the night before. WTH is up with me? I've read that lupron doesn't have to be, but still concerned. I put it back in the fridge last night.

Thanks again girls....

Quick post ladies.... I'm running out the door.

Eyes -- So sorry for your BFN.

Nancy -- Aw crap! You had such a good cycle too. I'm sorry. You have frosties, right?

Karenthescorpio -- No way could your follies "disappear" overnight. Something was fishy with that u/s. And your lining couldn't have changed THAT much overnight either. Was it a different u/s machine? I know the 3D ones measure follies smaller than the 2D.

AFM -- Roxy is having her knee surgery on Tuesday 11/9. And I'm still searching for tires that don't cost $1200...lol. Spending the weekend low key. I ovulated on Thurs and BD'd as much as possible between Weds and Fri... um... 5 times even. LOL. Hey, what have I got to lose?

Does anyone know about embryo storage? I have 2 remaining from Feb 2010, and 3 from Aug 2010. I hope to get more this cycle Nov/Dec. My clinic sent me a letter regarding payment for my yearly storage fee, or I need to let them know if I want to donate or destroy. Apparently insurance paid yearly storage fee in Feb, and in August it just paid the freeze fee. Basically any embryos I freeze this cycle plus the 5 I have need to be paid for again by Feb. How is that fair? It is $780.00 a year for storage fees. If I freeze more this cycle, why wouldn't the year renew then?

Hi Lou,

Yes, we have one frostie. I told Amanda that at my clinic they basically shut down for November and December. The embryologist all take from Thanksgiving thru Christmas off. Must be nice, huh? Works out well for me as January is when we'll really be ready to do the FET anyway but I hate it for someone that might be ready to start right now, you know.

They are supposed to call me the first of the week to set up an appointment w/ our RE for a post IVF consult. We'll find out then the details of the embryo in the freezer. I'm hoping it's excellent or very good condition. I hate to waste the $$ and get to transfer only to find out it didn't make it through thaw, you know.

Other than that -- we are talking about IUI. It's much less $$. We're going to talk to RE about that too. Big issue for us there is we'll have to use donor sperm and hubby's not too sure about that. I can't blame him. I totally understand and not 100% sure how I feel about it either. It's a big decision.

We've been married 18 years. We'd really like a baby. Neither of us are getting any younger.

Thanks for thinking of me. Y'all are great!!!!!

Ok, so I got the call to trigger tonight. But I told the nurse I had some questions and concerns. Told them everything I noticed today and the nurse kept repeating herself. Insisting that I have 5 that are mature now and might have 4-5 ore to catch up. I was like, no way lady. I have over 30 follicles growing. I'm not settling for 5 and maybe 4-5 more. I told her I want my case reviewed b/c I had this gut feeling things are not as ready as they can be. She agreed to have the RE doing the "reviews" today to look it over...and I also told her I wanted my assigned RE (one of the founders and a top doctor) to review it also. Also, after lots of bickering with her and insisting on a review...I ended up getting a second call back with instructions to continue to stims for one more day. Thank goodness. I just know it is the right decision. So retrieval will be Tuesday! :)

Oddly, when I addressed the follicles missing issue, what they had "on file" from my u/s yesterday did not match what the RE said during it. VERY VERY strange. I told the nurse this and that something isn't right...that I know what the RE said (I'm practically OCD about this cycle) and yesterday I had 5 that were 18mm...two of which are now 19 and 20. But whatever, I am just glad I got through to these people!!!!

karin1- I have never refrigerated my Lupron. I mean my home is air conditioned and not hot, so it's never been an issue. You should be fine as long as your home isn't warm. I think it says on the box the "recommened storage temp".

Lou- have fun with the baby making! Nothing to lose at all, indeed!!!

Lauren- I can see you are settling into crazytown. Hahaha! I'll be there in a couple weeks!

Kaylie- congrats! What great news. We are adding lots of babies to this group! :)

Eyes- I'm so sorry. Big hug and prayer coming your way.

Rio- So excited to hear how ER went. Just take good care of yourself and rest up for the big ET day!! :)

Karen...the same thing happened to me and the tech who is awesome...told me that some do shrink...but it is more likely that 2 different techs are measuring and that they are at different angles, too. She also said that the follicles are like balloons filling with water and take on different shapes, depending on what it is pressing against...my one 18x16 was a 20x12 the next day. I dont know, but that is what she said. I'm glad to hear that your are going one more day especially with your E2 level. WTG..being proactive. Oh and also 14mm is terrific...the doc want to see anything over 10mm...and I've had 12mm, 16mm, 15mm, and 14mm each time. No worries.

To all the girls asking about the egg white cervical mucous...I get it every time starting a few days before trigger and I'm not even on Ganerilix...I asked about it the first time and was told it was perfectly normal...no worries. It just means you are getting close. I've never had a problem come ER time.

Nancy and Eyes...Again, I'm just sooo very sorry. I hope and pray that a baby is possible for you both very soon.

Cheri...Glad to hear that they are starting you off nice and slow since menopur tends to stim you fast...this is a great thing and is what we did this last cycle, after stimming too fast the cycle before. I just told Bill what you said and he smiled...you just made his day.

Kaylee...Yay for a great early ultrasound.

Kynlee...Unbelievable...I'm so sorry the doc said you could have done without the stitch after everything you went through. I hope you're feeling better and resting now. It'll all be worth it in about 9 months.

Osi...I cant believe you are so strong to hold off on poas, lol. Good for you! Good Luck tomorrow...I just know it will be good news! I cant wait to hear all about it.

Rio...How did ER go? You've been on my mind all day...hope you are resting up. How many did they get?

Lauren...I know they always do the beta 2 weeks after the ET. It's funny cause my numbers 2 weeks later have been "exactly" 524 2x's before (weird, huh?) and it sounds sooo high, but my beta is later than most peoples. I know that alot of people often forget that we all have betas set up on different days past transfer and cant really compare the numbers with each other. I will poas starting 11dpo...which is Wed morning....this is also the day that would have been my parents 43rd wedding anniversary (they're deceased)...they were pregnant with me...so got to be good luck, right? I will call and ask for my beta to be either Friday or Monday though...instead of that Tuesday....positive or negative. They always let me. I've been having alot of round ligment pain today...so hoping that is a good sign...I had it last time too. They say that once you've been pregnant that your body remembers and the uterus can start growing sooner...so fingers crossed that that is what it is.

Lou...Hoping and praying for Roxy's surgery Tuesday and also that you find cheaper tires. Hope your BD'ing did the trick!

Lauren1171...Wish I could help you with your questions...but I am clueless.

Karin...Happy early Birthday!!! Yes, more will pop up. Most of the time they dont count the small ones that still have some growing to do...she is doing perfect for day 4 stims. Also remember that you want 12+ good quality ones not a bunch with nothing good in them. Try not to worry...everything looks good so far. Everything happens in 3's for me, too....so it has to be good karma.

AFM: When should I take my progesterone shot tonight with the time change? lol I usually take it at 9pm...so was thinking 9:30 tonight and then 9 tomorrow...so only off 1/2 hr both nights then? Does that even make sense? lol Did anyone ask their docs?

Also, something happened to my regular laptop...a virus maybe? It wont turn on now. I am using the old one with the flexible keyboard that is seperate from the laptop due to Zach destroying the keyboard the first time....and it's the biggest pain in the butt ever to type on...though I am getting more used to it now. So I may not be on here alot typing, but will be reading...till I can get it fixed. Praying it is something simple and that I dont lose all my pics either. Ugh.

Luck and baby dust to all!!! xoxo

Good news! Last cycle I got my usual (very weird but normal for me) very early pregnancy symptoms on 7dpo...which included leg cramps. I am 7dpo today and just had a leg cramp!!! Didnt even think about it till it just happened and I sat here and figured out that I was 7dpo last time, too. Hope this is good news!! :D

Hi ladies - Been having a great day with the family so just getting to the computer now. Hope everyone is having a good weekend! I'm still walking on air, though cramping last night of course got me thinking of me previous losses. I know cramping is completely normal and it felt nothing like period cramps so that was a relief, but still - makes you remember how nerve wracking these first few weeks are. But I'm keeping the PMA chugging away and I'm definitely looking forward to my next beta on Monday.

Osi - Good luck tomorrow! Hope you get that beautiful BFP!!!

Tammy - Hope that 7dpo symptom is your lucky charm! :D

Rio - Hope ER went well! Post when you can!

Karen - Wow - I am so sorry you had to tell your nurse and RE's office how to do their job. That is insane! I'm glad you got them to review it...geesh!!!

Nancy - I'm still heartbroken over your BFP. I PM'd you too but I'm wondering if a natural FET might be a good option. That would cut down the cost of meds even more and go more by your own regular cycle. Whatever path you choose, you know I'll be here to cheer you on! Our many PM's during this cycle kept me sane so I'll be all ready to load up your inbox again when you're ready.

karin - I bet there may be more than 12, but at her age I'm thinking they're going to be some high quality eggs anyways.

Kaylie - YAY for a beautiful yolk sac! Can't wait until you get to see the heartbeat at the next u/s!

Kynlee - Congrats on being PUPO! I'm sorry that stitch caused you some discomfort but I'm relieved to hear the transfer went well.

jennieswa - did you have your SnS today? Hope all went well if you did!

Hi Ladies. Congrats to all of you that have gotten BFP's! That is wonderful.. To those that have gotten BFN's- stay postiive and keep trying. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you!

AFM- Had SnS today. Lining is at 10 (which they told me they like it more than 7) and my b/w was all good. Starting PIO shots tonight as well as Medrol. I'm having some skin issues from the estrogen patches. The RE today told me to just keep moving them every other day....

Have to go back in Monday for b/w and then they will let me know what time for the FET on 11/11..

Hugs to all of you! :D
