Lynnie Put you feet up and call your RE..... I would for sure. As its very very light i bet they will tell you just to rest up but you can do that and call them. If you dont you will be stressing and thats not good for anyone... let us know what they say XXXXX

OK the nurse called and said she thinks it may just be from the ultrasound knocking my cervix and causing some bleeding.

Said to relax and call if it got worse.

I was also straining from horrid constipation! Like Kas said, you try really hard to get a rabbit pellet out! Colace barely helps.

Anyway, I hope this clears up...sucks though!

Lynnie I have been googling spotting and bleeding early pregnancy like crazy over the last few weeks and i have seen many times that bleeding is common after and ultrasound or having sex, so that totally makes sense...
Also my new remedy for constipation (has been working last few days) is peanut butter... i swear it works. Before all this, peanut butter used to make me a bit, errr, loose shall we say, and i used to have to watch out when i ate it, but now its 2 rounds of toast with very thick layer of peanut butter for breakfast and so far so good!!!

pixel glad to see you still check in on us and thanks for the congrats, its good to have you around :)

thanks to Marynaz and NY4th as well, i am still in (happy) shock i think, but adjusting. I told DH and he just said 'Oh boy!!' he hasnt said anything since. i think he's getting used to it

And Kas .... don't feel mean about saying its good the 4th is resolving. I said that and I said it because its so risky for all the other babies. The more you have in there, the more chance there is of losing 1 or more later on and endangering your own health. If I were you, I would plan to take time off and relax around the house so you do not risk anything! I would ask my relatives for help if I had three. You definitely want the best for those three little ones! Its seems the steroids and lovenox were the answer. SO that makes me wonder, were you checked for antiphospolipids??? I think I asked but I forget. Do you have lupus? I do not remember you being diagnosed with that, but it would explain why you needed those meds!

No i didnt get checked for the Lupus or antiphos, but both my RE's felt implantation was the issue, but wouldnt test for these untill it had failed 3 times. I thought this was crazy especially as i pay out of pocket for everything, so i did a lot of research and asked my RE to presume that i had an immune issue and he was a little reluctant at first and only agreed to the methylprednisolone (i take 16mg a day) as he agreed it cant hurt. He also said to take the baby asprin and that was it. However, i also decided to take Folgard (you can buy it in CVS so i did!) and i thought i would have to settle for that.

BUT, when i had my severe allergic reaction to lupron and ended up in ER, the ER doc said i must have a stressed out immune system to have had such a violent reaction. I mentioned this to my RE and we went into my medical history and my immediate family. There are plenty of auto immune issues including exema (sp) rhumetoid arthritis, thyroid probs - and thats just me, my mom and brother. AFter that he said he thought an auto immune issue was more likely than he had previously and was pleased we had decided to do the cortico-steroids and recommended the lovenox and told me to also take 1000mg vit E. I guess it all made the difference!!

Kas, just read your news, how wonderful, CONGRATULATIONS!! I was guessing twins but you're blessed with triplets. I'm so happy for you. I had the stitch at 23 weeks due to early dilation with the twins and put on best rest for the duration of the pregnancy at that point. The stitch wasn't as bad as I imagined and neither was the removal. If you google you'll end up googling that one like I did and read all kinds of stories about it.

As for me, think I finally decided and convinced DH to do one more try even though I said the last time was it. We'll see, what's meant to be will be, like your beautiful little babies!! Best of Luck.

hi ladies,

wicked- i'm so sorry for your loss. it's such a terrible thing as i remember it. i was so devastated and inconsolable. i hope you stay hopeful and find your own way to persevere through this. please stay connected to us.

hi to everyone else out there. kas- i'm so delighted for you news! wow, 3 babies...i'm sorry to hear about the 4th, but happy at the same time for your own health and safety of the other babes. it's so exciting!!

lynnie- hang in there through your spotting....it happens to so many women who end up being ok. i too, hate hating the toilet and any sign of pink or red or brown. my sludge is switching to lighter spotting, but forever present.

foreverlove, congrats on a healthy embie!! it's such a relief hey? that's great. i think you and another gal were questioning due dates- here's a link :
http://pregnancyandbaby.com/pregnancy/b ... tor-81.htm

when you do IVF, go back 2 weeks from your ER (which is conception) to get LMP (last menstrual period). as you may not want to measure your due date from the u/s. measuring back to LMP to get due date is most accurate. you will also be asked for your LMP date by future dr's...so good to be prepared for this question.

so i'm doing ok despite the spotting. it is totally pissing me off though. can't wait for our OB appt monday and to get through this blasted 1st trimester and hematoma resolving. i'm ready for a baby room!!!!!! but don't want to set myself up either. love to all, karen

Wickedwheel, I was so sorry to read your update. I am so sad for you and hope that you have the support to see you through. It does sound like you're hoping to try again though later this year, so I wish you the best of luck.

Karen, glad you're still doing well other than the worrysome spotting. I haven't started planning the baby room yet and really don't know where to start. We know which room we're doing it in, but have no clue about what we'll do with all the furniture and junk that's in there right now! Plus, the room we're planning to use as the nursery is currently occupied by our other "baby", a Great Dane mix. He loves to lay by the window in there and look outside. I guess we'll figure it out!

NY4thtry, how's the stimming going? Any follie scans yet? I'm gonna ask my doc about the magnesium now since you mentioned it. Thanks!

Marynaz, good luck at your next u/s Friday. It's always fun to have a peek in there. Hopefully your morning sickness will start to taper off. I was really sick the first 11 weeks or so and then noticed it started getting better. I still have bouts now and again, but not all day like it was before. Thank goodness! I hope yours resolves soon.

Gina, I love your u/s pic! I have all of mine plastered on our fridge so I can see them everyday. It's amazing huh?

Kas wow! Congratulations!!! That's wonderful news. It sounds like from your comment that your DH is a little in shock. :D You are more than blessed. As for the bathroom issue, I'm going to try your peanut butter suggestion. I could eat a whole jar at one sitting!

Mary, congratulations on your u/s. Yes, it's hard to believe this is all real isn't it? Enjoy the feeling! Oh, I also seem to be belching a lot more. I sometimes sound worse than a frat boy after a keg party. Sorry, TMI? Between that and my bathroom issues, I must be a total dream for my DH right now. :D

Chris, I wonder why they lowered your meds? After reading Kas' update though, it sounds like she went through the same thing and responded better. Maybe that will be the right combo this time for you!

Hi Jenn, I've been reading up on all of you girls on the Jan/Feb board. Glad to hear from you.

Pixelgirl, good to hear from you too. How was your trip over Christmas?

Lynniecat, glad that your spotting sounds like nothing to be too concerned about. Keep us posted. The things our poor bodies are put through! I hear ya with the rabbit pellets.

Good Morning Ladies - I just had to pop on to see what was going on with everyone.

KAS - OMG congrats!!!! How exciting, I am sure it will take some time to really sink in, that is amazing!

lynniecat - my sister had invitro also - she is a single Mom, and she said she spotted the day after her ultrasound, but then she went on to have a healthy baby girl, who is now 6.

Not much going on here, just been super busy here at work, must get back to it - ugh!!!

I hope everyone has a good day.

Kas - That is awesome. I would also be kind of worried about triplets but heck I am OK with twins so what is 1 more. I am so happy for you. YEY!!!!!!
I can't believe that they won't check for auto immune stuff till after the 3 failure. Gosh how much money do they want us to lose? I guess it really sucked getting your hives but in the end they were a blessing.

Wonderance - They lowered my meds this time because I respond well and my E2 levels get high really quick. The last time I only stimmed for 7 days and I blame this on my egg quality. So hopefully with them lowering my meds, I will stim slower and get better quality. Keeping my fingers crossed. Last time I did 250U of follistim and they dropped it to 175U so now I am worried that they dropped it too far. I am just going to see what happens, they can always up my dosage later on. Glad to see that your pregnancy is going well.
