Natakia – I am glad that you and your DH enjoyed yourself w/ an evening out. It is great to take your mind off of the IVF rollercoaster for awhile. So your big day will be Friday. Did you say you will POAS early or are you going to wait it out? I just couldn’t do it; I have cheated w/ all three cycles. I am so nosey … lol! Let us know if you do find out early!!!

No POAS for me, promised myself I'm not going to do it. I'm also looking at it as some type of test on patience & self control, I know it sounds weird, but I really feel like it is a test and I'm not going to fail it. My husband & I are both working from home on Friday so when the call comes we'll be able to celebrate or comfort one another. I'm going to allow my husband to take the call, I want him to deliver the news to me not a nurse. Oh my, keep us in your prayers!!!

Natakia - Wow, you have a lot of self control! I just couldn't wait because we have already been through so much in our 10 years of marriage by losing so many kids that I needed to prepare myself!

I am praying for the both of you for Friday. That is good that your DH will deliver the news to you. Since I am a RN my DH wants me to listen and understand anything medical because I want details and then he gets frustrated and says you need to talk w/ them … lol! But, sometimes it is good for someone to soften the blow if needed; but I am sure you will get your BFP. So keep up your PMA!!!

Everyone else - how are you doing? Hope our Laurens get better soon but if both cause of the BFP than that sound great.

AFM - My dh went with my son today for his birthday party from 1 to 7pm. So after selling the stuff in the backyard about $500 worth I decided that I was going to take the others in the city bus (for the first time) and go to mc donald in the tunnels. They were so exited that even the birthday boy was sad about not going on the city bus with us. I guess I will have to do it another day. So much for packing ?? Oops!!! And it only cost me $3.50 for both ways for 4 of us

Well, getting ready for day 8 stim E2 and ultrasound tomorrow. Egg retrieval should be later this week, right? Any helpful hints ladies? There was mention last u/s about my right ovary being difficult to get to since i have an exterior fibroid. Will know more tomorrow. Can't help but worry, but keeping a positive attitude meanwhile, hubby thinks the hormones are REALLY kicking in, haha!!

I just POAS again and there is a second line!!!! Very faint but it's definitely there! DH says why did you do it and not to get too excited! I am going to do it again on AM!!!!!!!!

Franca – I know exactly how you feel regarding the worrying. A beta of 69 isn’t bad! What was your progesterone level when they measured your beta? A good beta and a good progesterone level are all good signs from what I have read.

How many days post transfer did you test w/ your beta?

Natakia...Good for you! I know that I could never do it. I have no patience at all when it comes to stuff like this. lol Good luck to you on Friday...I'm sending prayers!

Emma...Please stop worrying...almost everyone here has the same cramping/twinges/bloating as you do....it is normal. I just ignore it. For some it is pregnancy and for others it is the meds...either way...it is sooo normal. You just have to get used to it.

Franca...69 is great for your first beta! Mine was 29...and everything is going along just wonderful! When is your next beta? Cant wait to see it climb and to see you smiling and relaxed. Congrats again!!!

Angela...I found out that most clinics dont check your progesterone level. I asked for one from the Cleveland Clinic (where I go)...they did, but asked me why?! I told them cause my 2ww buddy gets them done. lol Then when it came back only as a 46 compared to your big numbers...I asked them why yours is higher...and what does that mean for me. They said it means absolutely nothing...which is why they dont do them. They said 46 is in the normal range and yours is in the higher range, but fine/normal also. Then they said that they know that most clinics dont do them as a rule...because if you are doing the pio or supplements...then the levels are fine.

Helene...Good job on selling off some of your stuff. We sold $800 worth of crap at a yard sale...when pregnant with Zach...in 2 days. Who would've thought we had enough junk to make that much. lol We bought Zach's nursery furniture with the money...it was awesome!!

Lauren...Your beta is 5/3. Your beta is pretty early compared to most of us...I wouldnt poas till Sunday, if you are planning on it. Hoping and praying for you!

Tameka...Good luck Friday!!! Are you going to poas? Try to stay stress-free during this trying time. My grandparents raised me when I lost my parents when in highschool...until they too passed away within a year of my mom...so I can sympathize with you. So glad to hear that she is responding to you!

AFM...It's been a rough week here. Zach had surgery Tuesday as you know. I came down with strep throat on Tues/Wed and DH came down with it on Thursday. Took Zach to the pediatrician for a Sat morning appt...just had a feeling...and his ear and throat were red...so she decided to treat him with antibiotics, too. So we were all quarantined this week...and we missed our friends wedding. My husband introduced the bride/groom.

We started house hunting again...and are going to see a few houses tomorrow...even though I really think that we are going to wait till next Feb/Mar to move. I just happened to see a few new houses on the list that my real estate agent sends me by email every week...and now I want to see them...cause I'd hate to miss out on "the house". Ya know? lol

We're going on vacation next Sunday...just booked it today. We cant pass up this deal. From Ohio to Myrtle Beach they are offering $9.99 each way on select dates in May/June. It's a new service for them and a huge promotional gimmick. So for the 3 of us (Zach on our laps)...our total roundtrip including taxes for nonstop flights for all of us was $73.76!!! No kidding! I am now going to cancel and reschedule my first OB appt. maybe for this Friday instead. I need to call them here in a bit. I am a little bit worried about going away, being so newly pregnant and all. However, I did just do this 2 yrs ago...and what is the difference if I'm sitting around home or laying on the beach? lol Besides my brothers family is going too...and they even pulled their kids out of school for it (I dont believe in that, but I'm not the parents). They figure they will never have another chance with 4 kids to take them on a plane...so it's now or never. My 14 yr old niece and sister in law...will be very helpful with Zach...and my DH is the type to do it all anyhow. Lucky me. I'm not lifting or carrying right now either for the most part.

So even though I am almost 42 and considered high risk...I should be okay...right?! The flight is only 1 hr and 40 minutes long...so I'll get up and stretch my legs, too. I have another beta today...and will find out on Friday...how many I have in there. I really feel that there is only 1...and think I will be scared to death to travel...if there is more than 1. Any tips that I havent thought of yet?

AFM - Well we ate so much and bad stuff at mc donals that I am cramping today... not good. I will have to be on tea all day which is ok... Hopefully by tonight it will be ok

And I finally got my Urobiologics Report today and they say this:

Girls I am so exiting... How wonderful that my daughter will FINALLLY have the sister she wanted... You should have seen her yesterday she was playing at the tunnels at mc donals with a 16 month old little girl she was such a good "sister" I mean friend but acting like such a good sister. She will be so exited when I tell her that. My family could be complete after that...

I think I am going to do the Red Cabbage test tonight with the kids just to see if it's the same results. I think you are supposed to wait at week 10 but we can do it again later. So that would be another fun thing to do... We did do the needle and wedding ring on a string and it also said "girl" So maybe it is true??
