Sunshine: im sorry, I must have got you mixed up! That's incredible what your nurse went through. I must disagree respectfully though. I dont think we can get too attached so we can protect ourselves. I honestly understand it but I feel that we arnt really able to protect ourselves by minimizing our joy. I think all we really do is reduce the joy when things actually go our way. I dont feel there is any preparing ourselves for when things go wrong for us when it means so much to us. With all my heart I hope this iui works for you x and oh your poor vagina!!!trends are definatelylong boots and quite 1980s blouses in strong coloursand pencil skirts.

Tuffi: I'll bet you look great. The tiredness sounds v tough though? What's a SAHM?

Julia: how are you? I hope that all 4 make it, ir seems there is no knowing how many willfertilise. I had a 2 day transfer and got pregnant so dont dispair

Leorira: yes we are now 2 hours ahead. Wow you have really been tough on yourself! How can you know all the questions to ask?!

Kala: this time im going of caffeine, I havnt ever drank alcohol so thankfully I dont have to give that up. I have also ordered a lot of supplements including coq10 and selenium, etc. Im going to do acupuncture too.

Jenmink: I really really hope you get your bfp. And I had the gas issue after transfer, it eased on day 2

Gina: what's your diet like? The reason I ask is certain foods really up your adrenaline which can make anxity alot worse.

Blessed: hormones are evil!! How are you now?

Jen867: im really sorry, that's just awful. Im not sure how lo g you have to wait but ideally hope the beta doubles x

Afm: I really hope I got everyone. Im so sorry if i didnt. Nice trip to london. Saw jersey boys and legally blonde. Enjoyed both. Supplements arrived today, there are so many. Nearly 4 weeks after d&cand no af. I know it can take weeks but im really hoping it will appear in the next few weeks.

Julia~ turns out I ended up with two embryos and doesn't look like I'll have anything to freeze so don't beat yourself up thinking you may have been overstimulated. I was so excited to think I would have something to freeze but the end result seems like it was the same. Remember it only takes one and there are plenty of healthy babies made with grade C embryos.

I just returned from my two embryo transfer. Now I'm officially in the long, painful 2WW. I'm curious how many of you are put on bedrest after embryo transfer since my facility no longer does this. They tell me the current studies show no benefit. Hmmm. Any thoughts?

And a side note, I saw "the help" before the transfer. Such a great movie.

Ninde~ took me about 4 1/2 weeks for AF after D & C. I'm sorry you had a D & C. Not fun.

my clinic requests 48 hours of bedrest and then no lifting of more than 10 lbs during the 2 ww, no pools, no baths, no heating pads/blankets in the stomach area....no sex.....I can handle all of the no's except the sex part! If they think I'm a crazy loon on all of the meds, add in no sex and I'm an episode of snapped ready to happen! I'm trying to remember the other "no's" that we are told.....I can't remember anymore of them...probably because I'm still stuck on the no sex part....hehehehehe

Julia - good luck! I think there are lots of slow starters. One of my two that was transferred was also not great quality, but both "took" so anything is still possible. Even quadruplets

Jayne - congrats on being PUPO! My clinic told me to rest that day after the transfer and then I could do whatever i wanted. I rested for a couple days anyway

Maria - sorry to hear your beta is not down to zero yet, but definitely should be next week. I am really hoping you find the answers you are looking for quickly.

Ninde - doing the AF dance for you. It will be here soon. I go back and forth. After my first MC I thought I should protect myself the next time, but the next two MC weren't any easier in the end, so I think you are right. And now I am torn between being happy/excited and just waiting for something to go wrong. It kind of stinks because a normal couple would probably be so happy and excited now and we are just scared.

We've got so many ladies in the 2WW, I hope we have great news all around and can't wait to hear the results. Sending all of you sticky baby dust!

AFM - heard two heartbeats yesterday, so one more milestone is past. Definitely was an amazing sound. I think my clinic must have some high tech equipment for me to hear them at 6 weeks. The are both measuring about right - one at 6 weeks and one at 5 weeks 6 days. HB was 103 and 108 I think - if I am reading the ultrasound correctly.

Jayne, I know exactly how u feel. I was hoping to be able to freeze. The only reason I can even see them putting all 4 of mine in is bc they think they will fail? I should be positive. Especially after all of you guys relating the stories about less than prefect odds. Plus, I serve a God of great reversals. He can fix this. As He can for all of us. Thank u all for your words abs prayers. I'm laying here worrying now and seeing your posts make me feel better. Plus DH is the senior engineer at work and they keep calling him to come in. I'm ungrateful about that right now...ugh. This too shall pass.

Jayne: my clinic had me lie there for oh about 5 mind! Then they told me to go hoe not to do much but no need for bed rest as again they said no studies reliably showed much of a difference. But no swimming or exercise other than walking or cycling. Sex they didnt have a problem with because at that point I didnt have a history of m/c. Im hoping then that im like you with af after d&c because that wouldn't be too bad

Bodie: I know what you mean, there is just no one way is there? And I think the fear with any of us taking this route is so much more because we dont have the luxury of not knowi g what can go wrong. That's so fantastic that you heard the heart beats I always remember the tale of when my mum heard she was having my sister and I as twins. She only found out 6 weeks before her due date and apparently she came running down the corridor to my father sayi g "its all your fault"!!!!

Bodie- Yeah on hearing two heartbeats! How exciting!

Jayne- My clinic made me lie down for 15 mins. I wasn't even allowed to sit up at all. I was told to have 2-3 quiet days which meant no heavy lifting, strenuous exercise, sex, baths, etc. I was allowed to go to work because I don't have a strenuous job. My clinic doesn't encourage bed rest.

I'm super tired today so sorry for the lack of personals. I had a 12 hour day today and am so ready to go to bed!

Julie- I am right there with you. I am going stir crazy during this 2ww from hell. My beta is 11/7.

jayne231- My clinic does not do bed rest. They say the embryos will stick or they won't, but I have been taking it easy just so I would feel better. I have not see "The Help", but I have read the book & it was great!!

Lauren- Yep I am right there with you with the no sex. Like we don't through enough then add the no sex can't a girl get a break? LOL

AFM: I POAS today & the HCG trigger shot is out of my system, so come Thursday it is on like Donkey Kong with the POAS!!!! My beta is Monday Nov. 7th, but I am going to call to see if they can do it Friday or Saturday bc we have to leave Monday afternoon to take my mom to her oncologist & we will be gone all week. So If they will do it one of those days then we can do the second beta Monday morning before we leave if we get a +.

P.S- Today it has been 10yrs since my husband & I went our 1st date We didn't get married until Aug 17th, 2007, but we have been together since 2001.
