Hi Sassy,

I didn't do PGD last time. The dr. recommended it this time given that I had the miscarriage. Does your insurance cover it? Mine doesn't. Did you not do an ET the last time since they were all complex abnl? I guess my Dr. wants to do it so if there are issues with the embryos, they won't do the ET. My age is the big factor here. I wish I knew this was an option the first time, oh well.

Is anyone on this thread taking Heparin. They are adding that to my protocol this time around, just wondering what to expect.

g'nite ladies.
hugs,
Ange

Hey ladies--I haven't posted in quite awhile because I haven't had anything to report, but I have been keeping up with you all (quite a feat--we're definitely not a quiet lot, huh?). I'm so excited for all first timers--it's so overwhelming, but such a good feeling to finally be doing something proactive. And as a super needle phobic let me just tell you that the needles really aren't bad---I miss them

I just wanted to get an AF dance going, if I could. I'll start estrogen and begin preparing for my FET as soon as the darned lady shows up! I've got my white panties on and am ready to party!!!! So, come on AF!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello guys
Well everything went well at the lining check today and she said that she was able to see all three layers well and that things are a go for next Fridays FET!!! That is very good. They did do a blood draw and I guess everything looked good. They havent called me so I am hoping that it went well. I feel like I have enough freaking estrogen in my body for like 100 chicks!!! I told DH that I was extremely hormonal tonight and to leave me alone!!! Thats romantic isnt it? I mean we are trying to make a baby here...get out!!!! LOL

FEE
You are so funny-I am worried to. I now have one worry behind me and like a million to go. I am happy that it is moving along so fast though. I am positive about this month as well...

Meg
I dont know how to make the dancing smiles but I am sending you the AF jig to get the ball rolling for you...May she show up fast!!!!

Aunty
Arent you getting excited about your cycle? You have waited a long time for this!!! I am taking baby aspirin as well and I was wondering do we take them through the transfer as well? Just wondering what the protocol is on that.

Thank you for the well wishes you guys. I appreciate it.

Tanya--Oh man, I can only imagine how you are feeling with all that estrogen. At least it's a good excuse to be grumpy  Gotta love hormones! I'm glad your uterus lining is looking good (wow, I have never said that to anyone before!!!!) and am sending lots of baby dust your way!

Ladies

whilst i'm doing my "aunty's list" trial and when i'm doing whilst aunty has booked some annual leave, is everyone ok with me posting it in the evening UK time (say on the 1st) highlighting whats coming up for the following day (ie the 2nd)...it means ladies in the US will get it around lunch time to early after noon for the following day. i just thought maybe that would be ok as everyone can see whats happening the next day??

Green tea The healthful properties of green tea are largely attributed to polyphenols, chemicals with potent antioxidant properties. In fact, the antioxidant effects of polyphenols appear to be greater than vitamin C. The polyphenols in green tea also give it its somewhat bitter flavor. These polyphenols are associated with anti-cancer and anti-heart disease effects. Studies are still incomplete and inconclusive, but are pointing strongly toward having a protective effect against these two deadly diseases.

In the past, women having difficulty conceiving might have been advised to limit their caffeine intake. But recent studies suggesting that stimulating drinks, and specifically green tea, might boost fertility. In a study conducted at Kaiser Permanente Medical Care Program of Northern California in Oakland, researchers found that women who drank more than one half cup of caffeinated green tea every day doubled their odds of conceiving.

and pineapple juice my friends who are pregnant drank it but only a very small glass a night as too much can have the opposite effect

I just wanted to let you all know that they cancelled my cycle because my progesterone is too high. I ovulated before retreival.

I will not be having ER Monday.

They want me to come back on Friday to make sure that my ovaries go back to regular size.

They will start me again next month.

Im very upset, but I guess there is a reason for this. I know that I have God on my side. Sometimes I just dont understand why things happen.

Very depressed, but I will continue accu so that might help things.

Sorry, just very sad!!

Jackie - i'm so sorry to hear your news, that sucks!!! like you said, there is obviously a reason for it. cant remember who put the post on here a little while ago but it said that sometimes God is working on some stuff backstage which sometimes delays things and although we dont know why at that point and its disapponting, there's a reason.

thinking of you. hugs.
