Did any of you girls get sick when using pregnyl? Today I have a shakes, feeling dizzy, crampy and feel a bit ill. I have still got three more shots of the pregnyl to go!!! I don't remember feeling like this on my last cycle.

I think i used pregnyl a few days after the transfer was done and then again in another three days which as far as i know is a booster shot which does and should make you feel pregnant i did notice though that if i was pregnant that my ohss would soon get worse a couple of days after the first one. hey you were stimmulated weren't you are you getting anyhyperstim symptoms all i know is if they get worse your chances are looking good so maybe this is a good sign for you when did you take the pregnyl i'd still keep an eye on the symptoms though just to make sure your ok sounds like good news to me if your feeling different this time goodluck

Yea it wasa stimmed cycle but they only put me on 50 units a day. I took the pregnyl four days ago and I'm taking another one today. I had a blood test today to say if I need to take pregestrone.
How many months are you now? Did you get very big with DS when you were pregnant?

Hi Kery,
Thats what I had with both pregnancies about 7 days after ovulation/transfer. And thats when I beleive the embryos implanted. I didn't use pregnyl though. Perhaps you have just had a couple of little embryo's snuggle in an get comfortable. Here's hoping!

Between the pregnyl and the progestrone I don't think my body knows where it is these days. I HATE progestrone!! After my last cycle my af was so painful and heavy because of it!! Just wondering did any of you test low for progestrone in the 2ww?? I was hoping my levels would be a bit higher this time

So did you end up on the progesterone or were your levels ok
I'm 13and a half weeks and finally beginning to show my sister in law told me today that ive lost my waist not that i had much of one to loose but yes i'm definately noticing the difference i went shopping with my sister yesterday for clothes and boy i felt frumpy i hate the inbetween stage where you don't quite look pregnant and you just look like you've ate way to much.
Anyway how's things for you going any good signs what day post transfer

I know that stage you kinda look more like you have just put on weight!! Thats cool when you start to feel them move, you start feeling like there is life in there. I was so small right up to I had him that people were amazed that I had a baby in there!!
I am 10 days post iui. Yea ended up back on the pregesterone again My level last cycle was 33 and this time it's 50. So I'm not sure what it all means I'm guessing it's still low enough to need to take them.

sorry can't help you with levels and stuff but if the progesterone is going to help then by all means did you get pessaries or shots. 5 days to test dayany signs yet what times your appoinment on the 28th
As for my weight and showing things are definatley different this time i never really showed until i was 6 and a half months with ds and now at 3 and a half months people are starting to tell with good reason though iv'e been eating like a horse my new diet is SEAFOOD (see food and eat it) with jacob all i lived on was grapes anbd couldn't stomach much else
My sister is having her 19 week scan today and finding out what she is having her hubby doesn't want to know till the end and my dh couldn't keep it a secret if he tryed so hes not to know either so it will be just between my sister and i she figured she'll be shopping with me anyway so theres no way i couldn't know i hope its a boy

Hi every - sorry for the slow reply to all of your news. I've been run off my feet with work (unfortunately i have to travel alot) hence don't get to spend as much time as i need to on the net keeping up to date with things.
The good news is i start injecting in about 10 days. My doctors says i didn't need to do the down regging so basically I just start injecting on 2nd day of my period. He also has me injecting another drug (starting with O??) at about days 7 - so fingers crossed it just all works out! I have heard however when you do the down reg it supposed to create a better quailty egg - anyone else heard that? Also wondering if anyone has anything they can send me regarding what sort of diet i should keep whilst injecting. I appreciate wine/ coffee is out (ish) however should i be eating anything out of the ordinary???
If all goes well we then have to make the final decision about transfering 1 or 2 embyros. I'm so unsure what to do. Given I'm 36 and the fact its a fresh cycle i would like to transfer 2 and leave it up to the lap of the gods - am i being incredibly naive??? My brother has twins so i am fully aware of the work load - i suppose my major concern is for the babies and my health. Em how did you go about making this decision? Interestingly my FS hasn't "persuaded" me any particular way (which i had been expecting) and is leaving the decision up to my DH & I.

Good to see you back!! Sorry I can't help much with the ivf meds side of things. I have only done one isci cycle (last year) the rest have been iui's. The whole medication thing can be a bit hard to get your head around but you will soon be a pro!! I think the worst part about the cycle is the 2ww at the end!! Diet ummm I wouldn't give up the wine (my god that would have sent my body into shock!!!) Don't go over the top but I think a wine is good to calm the nerves. Every clinic will tell you something different but mine said to eat and excercise as normal. Anyway I wish you all the best and hope you get your BFP!!

Sorry haven't posted for the past couple of days i have had headaches from hell and nothing seems to budge them.
Kery your testing tommorrow any gut feelings if things have worked for you i hope so i would have done the evil pee stick by now any temptation or have you already given in and know what your answer is i'm hoping postive for you don't keep me waiting alday tommorrow you know i will be hovering around the computer to read your news even with the rotten headaches what time do you think you will know
Hi susan great to hear from you i can't think of what the o drug is either or if it is better to down reg or not but i do know your first cycle is like a trial run you just never know how you will respond and at this point all we can do is trust the doctor its hard as everyone has differernt protocols and possible medications to take to know which is best we'll just pray he's got you on the right one and you'll get your BFP positive on your first round which is very possible so good luck and hopefully if you have other questions we'll be able to help you out. oh the diet stuff i i don't drink coffee but i did cut my caffeine down drastically to one or two cups a day and for me smoking and alcohol would automatically be out which was easy seeing i don't do either i guess its a good time to look at what you eat and if you think you could cut back on some of the less healthy stuff and see what you could eat more of it's only practise for when you do get your bfp and need to eat healthy for the baby ask you doc next time you go in for what they suggest if anything

Man i thought morning sickness was meant to go at the end of the first trimester i swear its got worse i felt reasonable for a couple of weeks there and then bam were back to wanting to yak all day long i think its got to do with these headaches a bit too all i know is i feel like crap and that i could sleep till the birth if given the chance

Yep tommorows the day!! I am a bit more hopeful as my af turned up two days before my test date last time and she hasn't turned up yet!! I have been feeling pretty ill and have sore boobs but you know how it is the proesterone and pregnyl my be playing there part in that. I am trying to be positive but have been let down so many times that it is hard. Haha no I have been very good and stayed away from the pee stick
It's only been three days since a stopped the pregnyl so I'm afraid of getting a false + then being let down by my beta. Did your clinic make you wait 16 days to test? Gee that really does suck feeling like s###!! I didn't have any morning sickness till the last two months with ds. I thought the same thing that it was only suppose to be at the start. Anyway I'm thinking of you and hope that it all passes soon!!!
Susan, like Jomae said it does seem common that the first cycle gets cancelled. It's like a trial run to see how your body responds to the meds. You never know you may just fly through and be fine.
