Sonya - I'm glad to know I'm not the only nut who loves seeing the HPTs! When I get a positive, I take a picture of it, just so I can look at it all day at work. I'm a huge dork

Crystal - I know it's too early to get super excited (still need to get past some betas and U/Ss...) but Congrats anyways! Just remember that this is the first step. This step does not always guarantee a baby, but you can't have a baby without it!

Osi - I'm so sorry. We go through so much hell, and then get a BFN. It's so unfair.

AFM - We have a plan! YAY! From my SnS yesterday, it seems AF decided to vacay without letting me know - so I'm on a progesterone withdrawal protocol to yank her back! 5 days of progesterone suppositories and I should get my period next week. (I finally feel back to *normal* now. Since the D&C I've only taken folic acid once a day, it was so weird to take meds once a day, and only orally. Now I'm taking meds twice a day - and they aren't all oral! I finally feel like a normal IVFer again!)

AFM, had my 2nd beta drawn this morning so now the wait begins again for the phone call. I also have a damn itchy rash on my torso, lower back and back of my neck. It started a few weeks ago with just a really itchy torso, but no rash so I thought it was maybe just that my skin was getting dry. Then I started to get patches of a really fine sandpapery like rash and thinking it might be a reaction to detergent or something, I rewashed everything in dye-free, perfume free detergent but it's not getting any better. I mentioned it this morning to the nurse because then I started wondering if it was some kind of reaction to the estradiol or another med but they didn't think so. They drew some extra blood to check for a couple of viruses and I go see my dermatologist on Friday. And in the meantime, I try NOT to rip my skin off with my itching. Anyone ever have anything like this??

Amanda...Good Luck today! I know your beta will be great! Sorry about the itchy rash, but I'll bet anything it has to do either with pregnancy or the meds. I had horrible hives/rash right after delivering Zach. It landed me in the ER 3 times it was sooo bad. They said it was all the hormones. I hope it goes away. There wasnt anything they could give me that was breastfeeding safe...and I had to give up after 4 weeks of misery...not to mention that even with LC help...we couldnt get Zach to BF properly since he was a preemie and I had flat nipples, but thats a whole other story. I hope there is something they can do. I know your misery.

Kynlee...When is your beta? Are you poas?

AFM: I have never been soooo tired in all of my life. It is awful. I sleep all.the.time now...except of course at night...when I am supposed to. I even fell asleep a little bit ago sitting straight up in the chair watching cartoons with Zach. Luckily it was only for a few minutes and we are gated in the family/playroom where it is completely baby proofed.

So tomorrow my ER is at 8am! Yeah! So excited b/c this puts me that much closer to being pregnant again! Yeah!!!!! Transfer will be next Monday, 11/14! And then I only have to wait 8 days for beta b/c I'm doing a day 6 transfer due to PGD!

Klinger- I have heard of women having a reaction like that to progesterone in oil...specifically the oil causes them an allergic reaction. Might be worth investigating if you are doing the PIO shots. Hope you feel better soon, mama!

Hi Karen - I'm not doing the PIO, but I am doing the Endometrin suppositories. But I also used them in August with no problem. The only other "new" thing I'm on is the estradiol tablets 2x a day but the nurse didn't think it would be from that. I have to wonder if it's like Tammy said - all the different hormones or something. I know I noticed itchiness around the time of ER/ET (so that was before the estradiol got added into the mix) but the rash came after so it's a mystery. So weird!!

My 2nd beta came in at 1126! Doubling rate is 46.6 hours so I'm very happy with that. Next beta is Thursday morning.

Dh has been overwhelmed and we are a bit irritated with each other. I think he feels bad I am hurting because of his spermies but you know how men are, they don't talk about it. Plus he gets overwhelmed with our son and puppy since I can't move much. I am trying to keep the PMA but I am getting in a funk, I am just so scared of bad news of my embies this afternoon. Please pray for us! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!

I totally understand. I didn't realize how stressful on the marriage this can be until we got our BFN. I'm praying this works out for you too!!!!!!
