Daly, it looks like we are having similar schedule…I am expecting my AF on Wednesday, but since my body responded psychosomatically in the past, I have a feeling that it will hold on until 3rd of April (hehehhe, that is my wishful thinking) …My darling hubby and I love on Hillcerst; have been in San Diego since 2003. I love every second of it when I’m not homesick…

I love Hillcrest. Such a cute area. What is the name of that great bakery that everyone crowds into? I really like their french apple pie. Can you tell it's lunch time and I'm hungry? I worked at UCSD Med Ctr and the VA hospital in La Jolla in 2002. We moved to LA for my dh's work. I miss the calmer pace of San Diego, but really like the beach cities here in LA. We live right next to El Segundo and Manhattan Beach. Nicer pace than LA proper. So, you would rather wait until after April 3rd for AF?

Hello ladies

Hope it's not too late to join, I had an invite from my Cycle buddy Stephanie.

My intro, is we've been ttc for just over 8 and half years. In that time I've done Clomid, Injectable cycles for Ov stimulation, I've had one cancelled IUI and now I'm onto IVF. I Started Buserelin injections twice a day - am, and pm since CD21 on March 5th. I've also been having Acupuncture, CranioSacral and Relaxation therapy sessions since January. Jan - Feb was preparing my body for receiving the meds, and since then it's been to help my follies, eggies and lining. We had the baseline scan last Monday, and all was great lining nice and thin, and follies were asleep . Hubby's SA test came back fantastic also. The lab technician said he had super sperm giving motility and PH scores they'd never seen before. The Zeta West Male Pre-natal Vits and Mins, plus good diet have done wonders for boosting his OK swimmers to godl medalists lol.I started 150iu's of Menopur on Tuesday woo hoo, was so happy to start.

Our first follicle scan is at 8.15 in the morning, and with any luck the 2nd one on is this Friday, and will be just as good and I hope this one will be. Then I can trigger on Friday night with either 5000 or 10000iu's of Pregnyl that I have in my Fridge. ER is set for next Monday morning April 2nd, with a 3dt on the Thurs 5th. We've had so many losses to natural cycles that we're just praying for a little help and a at the end of it that's totally sticky .

Steph, (I tried to post this hours ago, but website was not cooperating grrrr) - That place looks really great. Definately visit the Roosevelt hotel while on your walking tours as it is a great historical place. We live in Westchester (actually LA). Very near LAX. Just south of Santa Monica and north of Manhattan beach. I like it because we have nice coastal air. Not the LA smog. Unfortunately, living here is way too expensive and added to it all this infertility treatment. YIKES!! We probaby won't stay to raise children, but it is a fun place to live for now.

Welcome Marcia - Your history reads remarkably similar to mine. I'm actually afraid to get pregnant naturally after so many mc's. Sounds like your out of the starting gates and well on your way to ER. Good job!!! I've been meaning to get back to acupuncture, but have been dragging my feet this cycle. Hopefully your post will get me going back. Sounds like you have done such a good job preparing. I feel I'm going into this cycle with a fuzzy head and little prep. We really want to cycle, it's just been a very hard year with the loss of our baby. I find it harder to get motivated for alot of things. This site is keeping me sane I love your fancy little smilies. Very nice! Good luck on your next scan. Grow follies Grow!

Now there are 5 of us on April 2nd...JesJes, Rebecca, Me, You and Hopeful2007. Wow 5 on the same day that is amazing. This site is such an amazing place and the support here is overwhelming. Less than a week now. When do you see the doc again?? I go back on Wednesday!

Jessica - Welcome! I could not agree more regarding the ICE. When the progesterone shots come around it is a real life saver. I went to college in Seattle and used to live in Kirkland. We live in Issaquah, so not far from Kirkland. We just moved here in August from PIttsburgh and I am finally adjusting to it! I miss home and hope to be back in 4 years so hopefully Seattle is place my babies will be born! Did you have any treatments out here when you lived here? I go to PNW Fertility and love my doctor there.

HEY!!

Base line scan was today, and my lining is basically non existant and ovaries hardly doing a thing!!

My left ovary was poly cystic!!! OMG!!! i thought, when the nurse said that, when i said what do u mean, she said that there were loads of tiny tiny follicles on it but they were domant, so nothing to worry about and all good!!!!

so now i wonder if that means, when they are stimmed i will get lots of follicles!!! x x

Next scan wed, after 8 days of stimms!!! Yahooo!!!!

Nicolmark - I'm glad your scan went well to day - and that you can start stimming - Grow follies Grow! What did they say about your injector pen? I have moved you up the list, so next time I post it - it should be right!

Well we had 2 embryos defrosted this morning and they both made it - which is great because it means we still have 4 frozen for brothers and sisters later. They were both grade 1, (2 day) one 4 cell, and the other had gone from a 4 cell to a 3 cell - they didn't seem concerned though?
The transfer went ok - the procedure didn't hurt as much as last time but was more uncomfortbale because my bladder was too full Last time they told me off because it wasn't full enough and this time it was too full! I can't win!
So I am PUPO (Pregnant Until Proven Otherwise) and officially on princess status! I do a HPT on the 10th April - which is a day before my birthday - so it will either be a crap one or the best one yet!

Nicolamark - lots of tiny follicles at this stage is a good thing!! keep feeding them and you will have lots of eggs!! Glad to hear thhat you've started off well.

I had my next scan and bloods this morning. They could only fit me in at 7am so I had to take my injections with me - it was funny I had the ice pack in a wine cooler! The scan showed a bit more activity but the doctor told me i was a slow starter. My oestrogen was only at 27 on Sunday which seems very low for 3 days of stimmulation. This happened last time which is scaring me. They are still having problem getting blood from me, it took three trys and two nurses this morning. My arms are so bruised I look like a real junkie. I think my next appointment will be friday and I'm guessing that my EC will be pushed back so I may not be joining the April 2nd gang afterall.
