Pixie Pixie, calm down honey - you are not going to lose these babies so your sil (who sounds very jealous to me) can just go F*** herself and you can quote me on that!!!!

I think all that stress an anger you were feeling during the IVF was probably being well repressed (for a good reason) but now you need to acknowledge it, grive for all that lost time and lost babies and then let it go!

Have you had any councilling - might be worth a couple of sessions.

I read pre natal depression is actually more common than post natal -so you are not alone.

Just remember whatever she says about not buying anything till 8 months - you don't need her anyway - we are all on your side and you are going to have these babies!!!! Pity her she is clearly threatened by by your success!

Yeah got both of your symptoms - like a nerve deep in in your vagina twitching every now and again as well as full on growing pains at other times. Sure it all normal. Plus the increased discharge is our bodies way of keeping super clean. The body is so efficient.

We didn't get to hear the heartbeat boo hoo at eight weeks - but we saw them flashing away yeahhh. I think your baby b is just catching up. Maybe it is better that they made us wait so long for our scan. When will you know more?

Hi ladies,
I am new to this group and hope I can share my story and be part of this group. I am 34 years old and after three years of unexplained infertility I am pregnant following IVF and now hoping and praying to be a mommy in December.

I had my first ultrasound last week at 7w3d and there was one heart beat. I have been having some cramps and side pains without bleeding and turned out there are some follicules filled with blood in my ovaries due to the needle aspiration during IVF. Anyone with a similar experience? My doctor said they may disappear in few weeks and i hope that she is right!

Hi ladies,

Sorry not posted in a while but I have been looking in on you all and keeping up to date with all thats been going on.
Work and sleep has pretty much taken over my life the last few weeks, that's all I seem to do, get up go to work, come home, eat and then sleep. I think working shifts is really taking it out of me now, just hope this tiredness passes soon.
As for being stressed well I think that’s my middle name now, I never used to stress over anything but that’s all I’m doing now, this is definitely worse than any of my 2 ww, I have been wishing the time away so I can have my scan but now that the date is nearly here I’m so scared, everything is rushing through my mind, will there be a heart beat, what will I do if there isn’t one!! I find myself bursting into tears for no reason at all, is there anyone else that feels like this??? I have had my In laws for the weekend and I really feel like killing my FIL as he is so uncaring, that’s all I get is “well look, there is no point in worrying, what will be will be” doesn’t he know that we have been trying for this baby for the past 10years, is he completely stupid!!
Sorry about the whinge, but feel so much better now, think I can go and face that outlaw once again.

Hi ladies! Sorry I have been out of the loop....sooo much has happened!
My son that is 1.5 yrs old got rotavirus and subsequent dehydration and had to go in the hospital to get rehydrated with IV fluids. There's an oral vaccine for this now and I will definitely get it for the next one. It was horrible!! 10 days of illness but he is getting better. On top of that my Dad failed his heart cath and has to go for open heart surgery tommrow!
I haven't had any time to focus on the pregnancy......mabey that is good.
I'm still peeing alot, tired, hungry and getting fat! I have been very irritable and hate my husband most of the time.....anyone else feel this way?? I hope it passes soon. I get to see the regular OB on Friday. Hopefully she will let me see a heartbeat again to know that everything is okay. I'm glad to hear that everything seems to be going well with everyone. Keep the good news coming!

Quita you crack me up!!! Limo land probably is fun we should all go there I have a friend from the UK. She's so funny when you post, it reminds me of her. I miss her she moved to Las Vegas 2 years ago.

I know what you mean about wishing your life away. I think we are all doing that right now. I am prety lucky to have the Dr that I do. Dh is pushing me for another us tommorrow. I keep trying to take it a day at a time so, not sure yet. No, I didn't have counseling after my mc & I had 2 mc before ds & went on to have 2 dd. The fear for me isn't the mc itself it's the fact that my last one was a missed mc. It's terrifying but, I do think I am doing better as time goes on.

Is healthcare really as bad as you all say in the UK?

Good luck with the remodeling. I can't wait until we get to start the babies rooms.

Nine Weeks Six Days

Trying to keep myself busy whilst my lovely dh does the laminate flooring - a very dusty business - so can't even sit in the same room and talk to him. It's raining here so he has got to do all his cutting inside. What he did yesterday looks fab though - he really is very clever and hardworking.

Said to him - just think in a few years you will have the twins to help you and he puffed up and looked all proud. Sweet!

Then we role played the scene.

DH: you helping daddy - oh thank you very much.

Me: Daddy can I hold your pencil?

Me 2: Daddy said I could hold his pencil!!!!

Me: He always get to hold your pencil daddy!!!!

DH: (Laughing) Look i've got a pencil for both of you!

Me: as me Ohmygod what have we let ourselves in for! LOL

You sound so stressed - totally understandably. I really think you should think about talking to someone. I know it's none of my business - but I found someone I could talk to during IVF and it really was like a weight being lifted.

You can go in feeling panicy and like, am I over reacting, am I going mad, I'm sure no one else feels like this...and come out feeling physically lighter and more able to breathe and cope.

KIa hello there honey. Nice to hear from you again. Hope you aren't pushing yourself to hard. Does your work know you are pregnant yet? 12 shifts have got to be too much. They have to give you time off if you need it to rest - i am sure.

Your FIL sounds delightful. Maybe next time you feel like bursting into tears you should do it over him just to see him squirm as you thow yourself into his arms!

I've got a bump - but my boobs haven't grown nearly enough for my liking!
