Malinka- glad we are sharing this journey together.
Noodle- I eat NON stop and often times refund it. Carbs are about the only thing I can keep down so it is pasta's and bread until the sickness passes  My previous dr was (ahem) an idiot. I come to learn that she had almost no experience with PCOS patients and or as she called it DIFFICULT PCOS. But because of her failures and mistakes, the new ER knew exactly what to do and he sure was right, so overall we are pleased.
IVF/ICSI 3/07 Froze All 36 eggs

Malinka-this #1 symptom has already cost me 8 lbs...weird though all my clothes still fit, I think it's a lot of water, rings very tight
Rikirees- yes carbs are very nice, I'm trying to only eat complex carbs but that white bread is a craving right now
Wannabeone- congrats at least that one worry is over...bring on all th others
I'm doing OK other than the strange weight gain..8lbs is huge, I dropped 18 before going to Mexico...very excited for US...Have a great day everyone!

Wecome Noodle! Hope you are doing great! Our RE doesn't concentrate on weight gain - they leave it up to the OB once those visits start. I've been more hungry this time around prob since I'd been on a diet prior to IVF where I lost 50lbs. I lost my appetite with my DD so gained very little and only towards the end of that pregnancy. She was a healthy 7lbs 11oz when I delivered her at 41 weeks. Good luck with your scan on Fri.

Tanya - so glad your scan went well! Best wishes for you and the twins!

As for all of the other lovely ladies on this thread - Hoping for much wonderful progress for all of you! Looking forward to your updates! Take Care!

Thanks for the warm welcome Christine....WOW 50lbs...I'm not really concerned about the weight gain just very surprised. I feel really great today good energy and boobs hurt a little less....kind of makes me worry, Ithink I'm going to worry non-stop until I see HB.

I find that I constantly have nausea, but if I eat steadily, small snacks all day it's not that bad...no refunding yet.

My sister is coming in from Oregon today, going to see a broadway show "Mamma Mia" and dinner in NYC, going to Jersey Shore Friday and Saturday night.....big, big weekend......all I want to do is sleep.

I have to come clean and tell you that I've been lurking around other January 2008 Due Date groups on different sites. BUT none of them have even compared to our group. The support, the ease of using this site, etc... So, I think I am going to dump them and stick to just ours. :)

hi ladies

where is everyone? did my last comment piss everyone off and you secretly went to another board?

as for me. nothing new. i am having my longest wait in b/w ultrasound visits right now - and it's not really that long. i will go on friday to the OB. i guess it's a quick visit. urine sample and quick doppler. what should i expect with that - just hear the hb, not see anything? i also rented a doppler. just for three months. hopefully it'll work.

i hope you all had great weekends. i had a nice one here in san francisco. wedding shower, which was nice for a change after all the baby showers.

wannabeone - Hope you are doing great! I rented a baby doppler last time I was preg with my daughter and loved it! My first OB appt is Weds and it is pretty much what you said. They may examine you as well to make sure your cervix is closed. They'll measure your stomach and use the doppler to hear the heartbeat. That's about it. Best of luck to you for your visit on Fri. Hang in there in the meantime.

For all of the other lovely ladies on this thread - hope you are all doing well. Looking forward to your updates! Take Care!

Hi everyone,

I've been away for a while. I was studying for my auditor's certification exam which was Saturday. Now I have to wait 6 weeks for the results :(

I've been feeling pretty good lately. Just tired a lot. I have a u/s tomorrow and that will probably be my last appt. with my RE. I met with my OB last week and just checked my cervix and said my uterus feels larger than 8 weeks. She wouldn't do a doppler, she said it was too early. She is referring me to a maternal fetal specialist because of my diabetes and she recommends I do the genetic screenings because of my age (36). :? I read some of your posts here and I'm having some mixed feelings regarding them. I don't mind the scan but I definitely don't want to do the CVS or amio.

Is anyone showing yet? I AM!! :D :D and I told my two co-workers and they are bursting at the seams to tell everyone. I'm not ready yet because I'm up for a promotion and don't want my pregnancy to interfer with the decision (although it shouldn't)

Take care and baby dust to everyone.

Mattie
