FET in Feb!!!

Hi all,

I've been MIA for a little bit because I went out of town for the weekend...

I too hope all is going ok for you Barbarella- you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I reiterate Beth again, how are you doing Donnell? I hope all is continuing well for you and your little one.

Chris- How are you doing? How was your second beta and US? Hope all continues well for you and your little one too.

My update is that my FET will be April 24th! I have one more week of bcp and then I start all the other meds. I have a saline US this Wednesday and I'm hoping that will go fine.

Well I got back from out of state last week, but seems like it's been busy ever since!!

Congrats on the BFP Chrysty!!! Yay!!! I'm hoping you'll have a great pregnancy!!! So exciting!

Looks like things are going well for you Donnell!!! Looks like your last ultrasound went great! Have you rented that doppler yet?? I've heard from people that they are great! Especially for ressurance which we all need!!!

Barberella How are you doing? I'm thinking of you and hoping for the VERY best!! I hope your next scan will be perfect!!

laura glad to hear things are moving along for you! You've waited so long! Do you have any possible dates yet for your FET?

Hi girls ~ Yes, the thread has been very quiet. I check it daily for new postings. I thought everyone went away. I had another appt today with the RE and they did an U/S. Baby is measuring right on track - 8w2d. The heartbeat was 180bpm and the RE said everything looked perfect. I got back next Tues for another scan and if all looks well I can stop all meds and they RE will release me. I have my first OB appt next Wed. So far so good, just have to make it through the next couple of weeks.

Faith ~ Out of State? Where did you go? Vacation? Lots o' fun? Hope you are doing well?

Laura ~ Yay! Sounds like things are moving right alone. I always loved getting off the BCP. I would count the days. I am still counting days though - for something. Good luck Wed. What is the saline U/S for?

Beth ~ No updates? Feeling OK? I know, I thought everyone quit the thread for a minute there. Thinking of you.

Karen ~ How are you doing sweetie?

Chrysty ~ You did update us. Shame on you. Hee hee - I saw you posted somewhere else and your beta is looking great. Did they do an U/S? Keep us updated.

Barbarella ~ How are you doing love? Post when you can, I am praying so hard for you. Have you went back in to the RE? Lots of love coming your way.....

Hello all!

Nice to hear everyones updates

I am going skiing!!!!! Yeah!!!!!! Didn't think I would be able to go this year but my friend called and we are going to france for 4 days. DH is very jealous (he is going to Portugal to play golf though!

I have been worried about being able to afford the FET and so to cope have spent even more money to go on holiday! I scare myself with my distinct lack of logic and willpower sometimes!

Am hoping the FET will be early May

Barbarella - things sure do suck sometimes. My heart goes out to you. I can only imagine it must be quite wrenching to get so close to face all this uncertainty. I'm holding out for you that there is still hope. Please let us all know how it goes.

Congrats to you chris - its neat to hear of the successes!

Am feeling pretty flatline and downbeat at the moment. I tested negative (but got my AF the day before) which ended the waiting. Just feel really flat, more so than thought I might. DD and lots of other stuff keeps me busy and not thinking about it - but at same time feel like haven't really been able to process fact it hasn't worked and just want a bit of space to regroup.

I do have couple more frosties left - but after the negative - just feel quite consumed by fact it might not work now - and can hardly face it.

Ah well -very cup half empty and not cup half full! Will perk up after a good nights rest am sure!

HI girls sorry I didn't update you. I am actually traveling and in Canada right now. Quick recap and update:

1st Beta 11dp5dt = 595
2nd Beta 13dp5dt = 1497

Same day as 2nd Beta (4w4d) quick u/s and saw one gestational sac from what I could find online measuring perfectly for the date at 3.8mm.

I flew out the next day to Canada. I will have to wait until March 31st for my next u/s I will be 7w0d.

It's going to be a long rest of the wait!

Hello Girls....Not good news from me...Just out of hospital today from D & C yesterday the scan yesterday showed heart stopped. Well onward and upward in a way I am releived the wait is over as it was not good from the start 8 weeks ago so...I will hopefully start fresh cycle in May (Down regulating again). I Cannot cry anymore as my tear ducts are empty...

Donnell - CONGRATS on your fab news, all sounds well, I am so pleased for you.

Thanks Faith, Laura, Melo, Beth, Chrysty, KYW and all for your lovely thoughts..I will pop in now and again to see what you guys are up to and catch up if anyone is cycling in May.

Can I ask some of you who have done a frozen cycle already - how long you took Estradoil and how many pills a day and when you started taking it?

We meet with our RE 3/26 after a 3/7/08 failed fresh cycle - so I got the order of 180 Estradoil pills/6 a day and am just shocked - seems like a lot but maybe after my RE explains things I'll feel better...

I am soooooo sorry, sweetheart. What a roller coaster you have been on. I wish I had all the right things to say to you.
You are so brave to start again. Stay positive and strong. I will keep you in my prayers. It's ok to keep crying and grieving. One day you will get your heart's desire.

Sorry, Irishhope, I cannot help you. I didn't take the pills (I am assuming they are estrogen?) I was on the patches...I started out with 4 and then they dropped me to two. I don't know how that compares, good luck to you!

Mel, sorry to hear your news, too. Hug your DD tight!

Barbarella--Sorry about your loss. I know the pain. Take care of yourself.

IrishHope--I just completed FET and I was on estrogen patches and pills. I was on 6 patches every other day (still am) and I was on 2 pills every day. My lining is very stubborn and wasn't thickening. I think I was on them for about 3 weeks but again because of the lining.

Barberella I'm soooo sorry about your loss. Even though it was a tiny little embryo, it's an enormous loss, and I'm so sorry. I was thinking positive for you hoping that everything would turn out well. Take some time, lean on eachother for support. We're thinking of you!
I'll see you in May if you decide to do a cycle then.

Donnell looks like things are on track for you! That's GREAT! Hopefully soon no more needles for you!!! Oh yah, and we went to Idaho! It was fun, and more and likely we will be moving there. Long drive though....

Looks like you are doing good too Chrysty!!! All that prep work on your lining was worth it!!! When's your next u/s?

IrishHope I'm not much help either. I was on injectible estradiol,one shot twice a week. Not sure what the difference is, but next time I think I'll ask about the pills!! Less poking!

MeloP I'm so sorry, and thinking of you! Know you always have all of us for support!

Karen have fun skiing!!!! Sounds like FUN!! Let us know how your trip goes!
