Emily ... I'm on the Estradiol too. (As a generalisation) Parisiens are often abrupt ... sorry you got the rough edge of it at a time when you needed some tlc. Don't let this distort your view on the french people though - I've always found folk from outside Paris are just lovely.

I hope you have a nice relaxing weekend with dp in the countryside. I've got to say I'm envious, as I love France. Where is this country house ? Hope you do manage to update us later with what's gone on at the clinic. Remember, chin up Emily .. we're all here when you need us ..

Hi Sand
Just saw your note of welcome - cheers me dears!!!
Well we didn't think we'd get to the 2ww but we did so we're chuffed.
Trying very hard to do the 3 days setee rest but failed this morning and took the dogs for a very gentle walk -I was going stir crazy!
Had a horrible dream that I tested - and everyone else tested + last night and woke up in a foul mood - no symptoms at all and told DH (he's at work today) that I was convinced it had failed.
Trying to get the PMA back but its not good. SO I thought I'd visit you guys as you always bring me back in line.
Hope all your days are going well!

Hi Eskavon .... I found the bed rest really hard too. Df had to strap me in there. How did your little embi do in the end ..? Did you get to see her ?? I bet you didn't sleep a wink on Tues night. We're always so anxious to get to this stage, then spend the next 2 weeks worrying about everythng.

I haven't got any symptoms either, apart from AF feeling which just keeps coming and going. No tender boobs, but the occassional sharp pain .... They do say though that not everyone experiences symptoms, so I'm hanging onto that. Zita's book says that the embi has to reach blasto (day 5 from fertilisation) before it can then implant over the next 48 hours or so. So your little one should be snuggling down in the next couple of days. Make sure you get lots of protein down you. I'm sick of salmon and I'd kill for a bag of crisps ... but I WILL resist.

Chin up Eskavon .... What are you doing then this afternoon ..? Plenty of DVDs / books to keep you going ?

Hi Sand
Yes we did get to see our little embie - two perfect cells and just a little fragmentation - embryologist said it was a grade 2 so we were happy. Also got an ultrasound scan of where they put it - so small that its marked with little 'x'. Dh was well impressed and the nurses and everyone were fab.
I, like you, have read the zita book back to back -its been so helpful. I'm getting my fingers crossed my little blasto will settle in over the weekend - its got a lovely duvert in there (11.6mm)
I'm sure your little pains are your embie settling in - how excited must you be!! how many days till testing? got everything crossed for you.
This afternoon will be more harry potter and maybe some trashy tv. DH is days 7 till 7 so its a little quiet but my 2 mutts keep me company.
oh just had a call mil is coming over.
better offski - ttfn x

ttfn ?? - what's that ..???

Can't say I'm excited Eskavon .. more like fed up ! Test on 20th - next Friday. We just had the one embi to put back too, as the other didn't make the thaw. She, also, was a beautiful little 2 cell.

11.6 is pretty good from what BigJ told me. I don't know what I was on the day, but do know I was 10 on the previous scan. Oh - we'll see....

My 3 pussy cats love me being home .... and they especially like it if I nip back to bed for a liedown during the day. They all come to "help" and keep me company.

ttfn - ta ta for now (bye for now)
one little embie is all it takes! i'll be sending you lots of +++ thoughts over the next week ready for friday
I can understand you being fed up, but don't you find yourself going through all emotions during the day? I go from being down and that we'll never have another got to being excited and ready for anything. Must be the hormones settling.
Your cats sound great. I know what you mean about them 'helping' my two labradors like to 'help' me lay on the settee but there's not enough room for all of us and two of us have bad breath!! not me!!
Hang on in there - only a week to go xx

Hi Sand and Girls

How is everyone doing?

Since Tues have no symptoms, bar sore boobs. A little worrying. I get very restless and want to do things, so not feeling anything is sooo frustrating. It also worries me that I should be feeling stuff. I know, I know not everyone is the same. Come to think of it, I usually feel stuff all the time, so me not feeling stuff this time, might be a good sign

Sorry to waffle.

Sand and Susie
How are you Lancashire lasses doing? I have 2 dogs that have loved having me at home. They have been spoilt. I haven't taken them out though cause the little buggers would drag me. No such thing as a slow walk for my two! DH has that pleasure when he gets in, although I do miss going out with them.

Emily-Rose
So sorry to read that have had a hard time. Hopefully you will come back from the Country House, refreshed and ready to take on the world.

Eskavon ... Ah ..ttfn ... that's one I'll use !

I've just seen your photos Eskavon, on the other site. They're really good piccies ! I'm sorry you've had to part with your horse ... that must have been so heartbreaking.

I was finding myself going through various emotions - up to 100 times a day ! - until a couple of days ago. Now I'm just finding myself a bit down in the dumps. I just wish my boobs were sore - then I'd be happier !

I can imagine that you plus 2 labs is a bit of a tight squeeze on a sofa ! Speaking of bad breath, my mum took one of her cats to the vets for a flea jab a few weeks ago .... he ended up having 14 teeth out whilst he was there, poor thing. Now he DID have bad breath !

Now make sure you take it carefully this next couple of days, while baby embi does her stuff ...

Hi Suz ... We're all going through this symptoms / no symptoms nightmare. I like your logic though .... you got to think +ve Suz ... It's a shame you can't walk the dogs - it's been lovely this past couple of afternoons. Can't you just tag along with dh ....? Get him to do all the work, and you just have a leisurely walk in the fresh air ..? It would probably do you the world of good. I got df to take me to Tesco yesterday (yes - Tesco !) and I really enjoyed it. How sad's that ? It was just getting out of the house for an hour - it made me feel loads better. I'm definitely going to get out more next week. Chin up ..!!

Sand sorry to hear you're still down in the dumps. I think we should all write to the 'boob soreness' fairy (BSF) and get her to do her work for you.

Glad you liked the piccys - I do miss my nag and it was a hard decision but i'd miss not having the chance to be a mum more. Your poor mums cat, what a shock for him - go in for one thing come out with another!

Promise I'll take care over the weekend, DH is nights so it'll be a quiet one - perfect embie growing time.

Hope you cheer up soon, it is like torture this and I hope you get some signs over the weekend - take care

Hi Sand

I would love to tag along with DH but unfortunately he finds it impossible to walk slowly. It's no wonder the dogs get so giddy.

I have been sitting out in the garden, with the dogs, for the past 2 days though. It's been beautiful hasn't it. I love the sunshine. It makes life feel so much better.

Meant to ask you - Have you got to do a HPT this time? I've been told to.

Thanks Eskavon .. I WILL cheer up !!

Suz .. Yes, I do have to HPT. The last couple of cycles have been bloods (however, I've never lasted 'til test day). A HPT then scan in 3 weeks. Wouldn't you think there be more in place ? At least a confirmation blood test to check levels, see if you need more estrogen/progestorone etc ... Surely this could make all the difference ?

Hi girls it's me!!!!

found a nice internet bar near our hotel with clssical music so thught I'd come and say hi to you all

We are still in shock, we had to fly from Hamburg our local airport, but change at Basel each way to get a flight we could afford. When we were in Basel dh picked up the message on his mobile that we had 3 embies. I was gutted and burst into tears in the airport cafe, as I was hoping to have some frosties too (I know it's greedy but with donor eggs from a young donor we had been told there was a good chance of this). So anyway you can imagine the state I was in, imagining that by ET on Friday they'd all be gone...

But good news  we had three lovely embies transferred this morning  slight chance of triplets  ...but lets get through the 2ww first  :roll:I still can't believe it, 3 little embies sitiing inside me...

Goerge was fantastic, he held my hand, he is more lovely than George C if you ask me

I had lovely tapas for lunch with squid, boqueronis and calamaris in yummy sauce. Nice to get away from Salmon Sand, I know what you mean  stayed in bed for another 3 hours then went to light a candle in the cathedral. Going back for another sleep now and then out locally to hotel for more yummy food....

So glad I managed to pop in, love to you all Sand, eskavon, Suz and emily...and any other Mayflowers..

Love and kisses
