Not good news, I'm afraid....

My bloods aren't compatible with the recipients, so shan't be egg sharing just yet.

Clinic said that they are now looking further afield to try and find a compatible match. Could take weeks, if not months.

Have to stay on pill, but am not feeling very hopeful.

Feeling very down, and bitterly dissapointed.

Hope everyone is ok - love to all.

Hello Everyone.

First of all - Anna - I'm feeling for you, I really am!!! I hope that AF has shown by now. Did the doctors say how long she should take to arrive after your last prog.? I would go back and make a nuisance of yourself - perhaps they can give you an extra boost although it sounds like they have given you the full dose. I look forward to hearing when AF arrives xxx Extra heart felt jig for you...

Ann - welcome to the thread. I don't think you are being greedy at all. This is a special time for you - I hope it works out fantastically!

Jen C and Jeck - well done doing the injections - it's such a milestone to get past isn't it?!?!

Heather - how did the bloods go? I hope it's good news. Fingers crossed!

Angel eyes - The very best of luck for your appt 2morrow. I hope there are lots of follies there for you (but not too many!!)

Gina - Good luck with the tmt this time round. It's great to hear of a success story!!!

SOURIS - haven't heard from you in a while. Hope you are well. :P

I am personally feeling quite distanced from friends and family at the moment. I don't start tmt till Sunday but this is how I tend to deal with fertility treatments - when it's all happening I seem to switch off from the world and don't really want to talk to anyone, (apart from you lot!) DH gets concerned but I think it's my coping mechanism. Will probably feel better once tmt is underway - will feel more in control then. Anyone else get these feelings sometimes?

Since I was told that I was "infertile" I have pretty much shut everyone out...I can't count on one hand how many times I have seen my friends in the last few months. Luckily they understand.

Hi girls,
Angela welcome. I have my scan on 19th Jan as well. I started downreg on Sunday though. It was a HUGE trauma witht those needles, but I think I have just about got over it now.

I've been catching up on everyone's news after having been away over the festivities.

JenC, you said you were down to 5 amps of Lupron, sorry to show my ignorance, but is this good? I've been prescribed 6 amps of Menopur and am worried that this it is terribly high.

Sophie, I'm actually feeling a little bit warmer towards my friends. Maybe because of the time of year, I don't know. DH and I have been keeping this thing to ourselves for so long and now it is actually happening, I can't believe it. Even though my friends don't know, and I shall be playing Cindarella for the next month to get home and inject (so I'm sure questions will be asked- I'm usually the drunkest and last to leave) I know that they will still be my friends no matter.

Anna, has AF showed up yet?

Souris, my evil buddy, hope everything went okayover Christmas. I'm missing reading your news.

Good luck to everyone else, we're almost there now!

Sophie, thanks for your message. I'm still playing the waiting game. No more meds, just wait and see.
Angel eyes, good luck with your appointment tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

Reading the messages about shutting other people out struck a chord with me. I can't speak to anyone about tmt except you lovely ladies. (apart from DH!!) Sometimes find it hard to find stuff to talk about with friends as my head is full of cycles, tmt, injections, dates etc... i know dh worries about the amount of time I spend on the site, but it really does help. :D

Anyway 2006 is going to be OUR year!!! PMA to all
Bye for now

Hello everyone.

I think DH is feeling abandoned too as I spend alot of time on this site!

Heather - so sorry it wasn't a match. How awful for you. I hope you find a match really soon. VERY SOON.
Ann - good luck with the baselines!!
Jo - good luck with the dummy run - you poor thing having to do it twice!! I hope it runs smoothly.
Lynne - I know what you mean about playing Cinderella - . I had to do it lots last year, including injecting in public toilets of pubs and restaurants while worrying that someone would catch me and think I was a junkie!! I had forgotton about that side of it.
Angela - WELCOME! and roll on the 19th!
Jen C - At least we have this site!!!!

Anna - I'm exhausted with all this jigging but I won't stop until AF arrives!!!!

Hey everyone!!

The posts about shutting people out really struck a cord with me also!

I sometimes think it would be easier to tell everyone what is going on, but I don't think I could bare the well meaning questions...

I have my suppression check up on the 12th and they will do a trial embryo transfer that day also. Has anyone done this and does it hurt?? If all is fine that day I will start stimms on the 14th.

Lynne, this is my first time with IVF, so I have no idea....

I started Luvaris yesterday. So I am doing 150 units of Luvaris in the morning, 300 units of Follistim and 5 units of Lupron in the evening.

I went for an ultra sound today and I go again tomorrow and they said to count on being downtown for an appointment on Saturday!!! Once my ovaries get big enough, they transfer me to the downtown office where the ET and implantation is done. So I am excited!!!
