Im back from visiting my sister and mom!! Had a great time and saw my nephews too. They are 5 and 7 years old.
We did a lot of painting because she is selling her house and moving to Illinois.
My Lupron shots are going good. I have to wait for AF and then I will get a schedule and start estradoil. Hopefully still looking at Apr 13th or 14 for FET.
Anna, Please let us know what happens with your scan on Fri. Good luck and Go follies Go!!

I'm fine today. The PMA does ebb and flow....no control over it either! Off for scan tomorrow morning. Then if all OK, trigger shot on Sat and EC on Monday...phew, trying not to get too excited. Have never got this far before! Funny, as I work in a school all my colleagues keep asking me what I am doing over the Easter holidays. (they start tomorrow) It's on the tip of my tongue to say 'having IVF!' just to see their faces!!!!

Hi MLG, sorry to report bad news again 
My follies haven't grown and my lining has now got smaller. No reason given! They can't up my meds as I am on the highest dose they will allow. They don't know why I am responding so poorly. My FSH level is low. Ah well, maybe it's back to the drawing board again.
Am sat waiting for nurse to phone with results of blood test today. If E2 is high they will proceed with EC. If low I will need to continue stimming for a few more days... and then who knows? Sorry , PMA at an all time low. Am fed up of taking one step forward and two steps back. I hope you are OK. Thank you for thinking of me!

Im so sorry this is happening to you. I know that you have been thru this before but each time is just as bad .
It sounds like either way you are still continuing right?
Remember it only take one and you have some follies that are the right size.
Please let us know what they say today.

anna, fingers crossed you get the ok to go ahead with ec. although another couple of days of stimming may do the trick. in any case you've got 2 good sized follies and in the end that's all you need. mine were also slow developers and i stimmed for a long time because it was xmas and the clinic was closed, so maybe another few days wouldn't be bad if your E2 levels aren't high enough now. don't worry, you're nearly there.

Hi, thanks for your messages. The E2 level was too low. Dr says it is my decision but she would recommend that I stop stimming now and cancel the cycle. I can keep stimming if I want but signs aren't good.

I have been reading this thread with much interest, I am in a similiar situation,and have been put on 450 gonal f, which I started yesterday, due to having a high FSH of 17.5, I was concerned about this dosage and the hospital have said that they will scan me on tuesday now, is there anything I should be asking them when the scan me? also if don't get any follies, and they abandon, as I am on a NHS cycle, is that it?

oh anna sweetheart i'm so so sorry. wish there was something i could do except to say i'm thinking of you and we're all here for you.
not quite sure from your message if you're going to continue stimming so i'm keeping everything crossed just in case. i know it's looking bleak but sometimes things turn around unexpectedly. the docs are not always right.

Hi ladies,
I can't wait to go for a scan tomorrow, as I have mentioned on other posts I was a bit worried on the dosage of Gonal F I was put on, due to the fact that my high FSH might be caused by my hormone tablets I have just come off. I contacted my hospital with my concerns on Friday and they agreed to me having a scan tomorrow instead of waiting till friday for it. Today I have started having strange sensations on each side, sometimes I would say they are twinges, is this normal? my dosage is 450, so I hope something is working, I have only had 4 injections of gonal f so far.
I will be glad when I have had the scan.

thanks for your messages. AF arrived on Sat , this was day 14. No reason for this, but the dr was right, there was no use continuing to stim. The E2 level was so low there probably weren't any eggs in the follies anyway.
A bit lost over the weekend but have now contacted hospital, made an apptmt for 'closure'!!!
Have also made an apptmt at another clinic where they organise egg donors tmt abroad. We have our apptmt in May. Just need to get all my bloods etc tests up to date.
Taking time out to chill and jump off the roller coaster for a while.
Trying to remain optimistic, dp being an absolute star!

Anna- i still can't believe that after all you have been through and with a low fsh you have to go and get donor eggs! my heart goes out to you. it's been a very long drawn out process for you and Dh...I know you said you are taking time out now...when do you think you may look into the donor eggs?
