Good morning ladies...sorry I haven't been so great on the personals the past few days. Still trying to regroup from my BFN.

I went in this morning for my check, and darned if I don't have a stupid big cyst (follie) on my Left side where it doesn't need to be at this point. Crap. Like it couldn't be on my right where it wouldn't matter? (Since I'm a one-tube-Gal)Sigh. I will hear later today to see what my E2 level is. She said if it isn't kicking out too much E2 we can move ahead, but if it is we will have to postpone. I was so hoping for things to get moving before the holidays.

Again--sorry for lack of personals. Feeling horribly crampy with AF in FULL NASTY force post-BFN. Plus a lot of work stress on top of everything. Give me a day and I'll be right back cheering everyone on.

Margie don't apologize... you're dealing with a lot and we are not just here to be cheered on... we're here to lean on when you need it. We've all been there and chances are we'll all be there again. This story is never a constant stream of good news. I'm sorry about the cyst on your ovary. Ugh. Maybe it'll go down quickly and you can spend the holidays back on the path again and not waiting....I detest waiting. Hope work lightens up and at least is a distraction if a nasty one. BIG HUGS

Sonya...I was awake every 2 hours peeing last night so I didnt break down and test this morning. lol I'm too nervous too. I'm 10dpo today...and I always get an extremely faint line on 11dpo...so dont think it would even show up today...maybe tonight if I can hold it that long. lol

Amanda...I hope you are right, but I'm usually feeling more pregnant or not by now...I just dont know what to think this time.

Tammy.... peeing is a good sign! LOL I admire your restraint. You'll do what's right for you, but the longer you wait, the stronger that line will be. As for not feeling pregnant... I've got tons of hcg in my system and I don't really feel pregnant. I've got some mild symptoms but if I didn't have positive betas I wouldn't be feeling all that different.

My DH wonders if I am building a tolerance to the progesterone since I've been on it for the better part of two years? Of if I am just used to how it makes me feel..

I know I am astounded at how 'clear' and energetic I am when I am between cycles.

Lauren... this is the 'sweetest' time of the journey... the possibility of a baby looms huge in front of us... all the waiting, the pain, the shots, the meds, the travel and the cost are behind us, and the reward is burrowed deep inside the most safe, secret spot a woman has. Please don't let your emotions get the best of you if the test is not positive. It's really important to know that it really doesn't mean anything until you get your beta, because the hcg can be in your bloodstream and NOT in your urine. So... test with caution... and please try to use a FRER.... you CAN take them out after about 10 minutes and allow them to dry. This is common for users with FRER and it does not produce any kind of false result. I've seen hundreds of them and the only thing drying does is make any line that is there, stand out more. Use IC's if you want, but don't rely on them unless you get a good strong line. They are famous for evaps. Good luck!!!

Sonya...I wish peeing were a sign for me...I pee this much all.the.time. lol ER is torture for me...as you can imagine. I know wat you mean about the progesterone...and I can even tell what is symptoms from progesterone and which are pregnancy symptoms at this point now, too. Problem is...I'm not really getting that pregnant feeling now. I always feel "clear and energetic" in between cycles, too. lol

Lauren...Almost no one gets a BFP at 9dpo unless they are carrying multiples or they are the rare case. I would expect a negative for you until Friday....so if you do decide to poas now...just remember that (guessing here) that there is a 90% chance that it will be negative and on Thursday there is a 50% chance that it will be negative...like I said guessing here based on the millions of postings and websites I have read. Ditto Sonya on the FRER test. Good Luck!

Sorry for the MIA as I have been mostly posting on a November cycle but I have been following all of you along. First let me say congrats to all of the preggo mamas
Margi I am so sorry you are going through the bfn and then a cyst...ugh I am praying for you that you get to try again before the holidays.

Tammy how are you coping with the waiting? Any unusual symptoms? I wish there was a way to see into our belly to see how they are doing in there...lol To all of the other PUPO girls good luck, I am keeping my fingers crossed for all of you

AFM It is true I am PUPO thank you so much for moving me into the PUPO category and it is nice to finally be here. We transferred 2 picture perfect blasts 4AA and 4AB and now we just wait...and wait...and wait. I am testing out my trigger which is why I cannot conclude accurately as to whether I have a positive or not for a while still. I am 8 days post trigger and still have a faint line on an hpt.....actually day7 and 8 is the same so I am guessing the line will either disappear or get stronger over the next few days. I am not in cray town yet but I am sure by this weekend I will be. I just keep visualizing the babies and talking to them. We got pictures of the blasts this time and they look so great and we are just praying for a miracle this time. Anyways our beta is 11/17 which is DH's bday (no pressure right ) At least it is great going through this with other PUPO ladies on here since we are not telling our families at all.

Lauren...Yes First Response Early Result...be sure to go to their website and print a $2 off coupon...and buy it at Walmart where they sell them in a pack of 3 with a fertility test in it too (I accidentally used it as a hpt and it came up positive in Sept, lol)...to get the biggest bang for your buck. Everywhere else is a few dollars more and some only have 2 hpts in the pack.

Hi all. So ER went well. I am back home and feeling great. Can't believe not even one cramp or any pain at all! I'm so thankful for that! They retrieved 29 eggs! I'm praying a large majority of them are mature! Going to rest now and relax. Very tired b/c didn't sleep much last night! Big hug to all. Hope eveyone is going ok and feeling well. Tammy - you are showing great restraint. I totally would have POAS by now.

AFM - I had my SnS this morning and they were able to see 18 follies!! Much better than Sunday when the other nurse was having trouble locating everything - she was kind of fumbling around and I have never seen her before so maybe she is new. They even had the Dr come and remeasure since there was such an increase and they think that I am getting close. They range in size from 11-16 so not completely clustered in size but the dr was very happy and encouraging. He thinks that this will be my best cycle so far. Thank God!! ER still scheduled for Saturday, but depends on my bloodwork and of course how they grow over the next day or two.

Sending good wishes to everyone I missed. Just super busy at work since I came in late.

AFM - I am going to write my blog today. Looking for a new job that is less stressful (wish I could find a way to go on FMLA). Tomorrow I go for my Hysteroscopy. Kind of nervous about that, but whatever it takes to get healthy embies in there ! Then Thursday I go for my teaching visit.

Questions.. how many shots and where are they administered? I suppose I will learn all this on Thursday. Anything to expect for my teaching visit?

Karen...Yayyy for 29 eggs!!! I felt the same way...felt terrific and went out and did a costume contest and walked everywhere for trick or treat that day too....however, I felt 10x's worse the next day...though it may have been more related to the fact that the nurses were really pushing down on my uterus to get to the eggs and I just didnt feel it til the next day. Anyhow, my point is just take it easy regardless of how good you feel...just in case. No marathons! lol Praying for a great fert report tomorrow! Rest up!

Cheri...That is terrific news!!! 18 follies between 11 and 16 is fantastic! Sooo jealous! Let us know how your E2 level increased today.

Chelle...Good luck with everything. Most of us do the shots in the tummy...you can barely feel them. They range from 1-2xs a day and 2 to 4 shots a day depending on the protocol. Mine was 2 shots in the morning and 2 at night in the tummy. The trigger shot is 1 shot in the belly (used to be the butt). The progesterone shot goes in the butt after retrieval and if you're pregnant will continue 1x a night till 10-12 weeks or so. If you dont understand something be sure to ask again...it is alot of info and they know and expect questions.

TIPS on how to look after myself so I stay pregnant!!!! yeh I am extremely parnoid worrying about everything!! brought myself a pregnancy book.......didn't want to get one before my POAS thought it might jinx things!!
