HI ladies! I am back home so I am going to try to catch up on some personals...

Gina- I hope that you are doing ok. I know that it is so hard being away from family and finding things out from other people or not even by the word of mouth. I live far away from my family and I always seem to be the last to know sometimes.! All I can say is that it is such a blessing and praise to hear that she is awake and talking. That is so awesome! I am praying for you and your family. I pray that she will continue to improve!

We-I am still thinking of you! I pray that you and DH get the answers you need! It is awesome that you are going to go back to school! I hope that you are doing ok. I know that days come up and down. Sometimes in bad situations I read the Psalms. I have found comfort in Psalm 37 (for many reasons), Psalm 119, for reminding me just how Great is Our God! and Psalm 69:13-for the fact that the things come in His time. Even as hard as it may be to wait... I am praying for you and I am thinking of you!

Julia- I am on my day 1.5 of bed rest. I am worried and I want to take it easy. I dont believe you. I know that if I could I would poas all the time. I am an addict. I cant wait until I start POAS .... Still trying to figure out when I want to do that! I wish you good luck with that! Our betas are on the same day. My first beta is on the 14th then the 17th...

JenMink- Thinking of you. Just read about your accident. I am sure you are fine and I cant wait to hear about your results from POAS.... Good luck!

leoria-I hope that you had a great adoption meeting. Yay for shoe shopping. It has gotten cold here too. I am enjoying the cool weather and just been taking it way easy..... I am thinking of you and I hope that you are doing well with your cycle and take care. I understand that you are angry with God but dont give up your faith...... Thinking and praying of you. Please know that i am not trying to be disrespectful because you and DH have been through more then you should have. But know I am thinking of you!

pinkboots- I know what you mean about poas. I think that DH wont dare ask me not to do it. Because I would do it even if I had to pee at a store hehe I feel that the time is so far away. I cant wait to hear your results!

rosie-I am so excited that you had your ET. I hope that all went well.. I guess if I move the page over I might see.. That is so good to hear you got 10 eggs. Amanda - wow. 7 days without power. That's nuts! We just watched Captain America -- that was AWFUL! Sheesh! But we also watched Green Latern and that was much better! CONGRATS on that pee stick! I barely see it in the first one, but it's definitely there in the second and really doesn't look like an evap line. Did you POAS again today????

Julia - what if you have a girl, name her so her initials are LST and then she marries someone with a last name that starts with D? Then her initials will be LSD! My dad's initials are E.A.R. - which is pretty funny because he is an eye doctor!

Maria - we just started cooling off here. It's a nice change, but I can't wait for warm weather again! Cold and rainy is not as much fun. I've never been on a cruise, but I keep suggesting it as a vacation idea. DH doesn't think it's as "authentic" as traveling somewhere.

pinkboots - where in PA are you? I grew up in Pittsburgh! My husband always asks me to wait to POAS until 9dp5dt or something, but I never can! I'm sorry about the babies at work. Someone in my office is expecting twins and it's killllllinnnnngggg me. I'll plan to be "out sick" when she brings them in to show off.

Christy - I'm up while you are asleep! I'm pretty much done at work by the time you guys wake up, lazy bums! Then again, I'm asleep before you get home from work... I hope your turkey was good. Dinner for us tonight is lentil soup with sausage. Really really really simple to make - I sautee onions and garlic, add some sliced sausage, then when that looks good I add water and lentils. Simmer for about 20 min and all done!

Blessed - looking good - congrats on being PUPO!

Jayne - the reality of never having a child of my own is really creeping up on me. How many more IVFs do we try? After we lost our first set of twins, it took over a year of non-stop cycles to get pregnant with a viable pregnancy again. I can't imagine another entire year of this. And how many more pregnancies can I do? What if I get pregnant again, but still don't bring home a baby? It's so hard to think like that, but it's becoming more and more likely for me... Luckily, my husband is totally open to adopting. Of course, we would rather have our own, but adopting could be the next step.

Lydia - sorry this is taking so long. I remember being sooooo frustrated. I had my D&C in Sept 14 and didn't have my next FET until late December. I hope soon for you.... Can your doctor check your hormone levels to see what is going on? I didn't ovulate after my beta reached zero, so I took Provera. Btw, I'm on cycle #7 too -- hopefully this will be a lucky one!

Neffi - I still can't believe your cycle got canceled. That sucks soooo much. Damn. Why do they think a LOWER dose of Estrace would help? What about taking the estradiol vaginally or injections?

Bodie - yes the vaginal pills can cause spotting - which is scary but harmless. Crazy hormones are all part of being pregnant! I cry at EVERYTHING when I'm pregnant!

blue eyed - it's so hard when you have good news but a friend has bad news. Give your friend a big hug. Does she know your news? Fingers crossed for your u/s next week!

Rosie - GREAT JOB! 10 eggs is fantastic! When will you get your fert report? (Do you have to go all the way back to Rehovot for transfer? I assume so, since the embryos are there!) I have never never never heard of transferring one on day 3 and another on day 5 -- wouldn't that 'disturb' the first one? hmm...

Gina - glad to hear your grandmother is doing a bit better, but sorry about the whole rollercoaster of emotions and having to be so far away from the rest of your family.

AFM - getting sooooo antsy about this cycle. SnS on Monday morning and I'm dyyyiiinnnnggg to know!

Blessed - no disrespect at all. I've really lost my faith in God (after being raised a religious orthodox Jew) - and I'm so jealous of people who keep theirs. So many people believe their 'angels' are in heaven/arms of angels/with Jesus or God -- I don't, which makes things so hard. I don't know what I believe about the after life, and it's so hard to think that my babies are just 'gone' and won't ever know how much I miss them and love them.

I'm glad you can find strength in belief. And feel free to pray for me! Sometimes people think that because I'm Jewish, I don't want people praying to Jesus/Allah/Buddha/whatever for me - but the God I want to believe in isn't so stingy as to ignore prayers if they aren't addressed properly!

I'm really thinking abut sneaking to the dollar store for hpts. I really want to respect dh's wishes but this is like.really hard. How many days past transfer can u get a reliable result?

Hi ladies! Sorry it's taken me so long to get an update in. I was really really out of it and sleopt most of the day yesterday after ER. Today I am still pretty sore and got in to work late.

Numbers....I almost feel bad posting them here because they are so ridiculous. They retrieved 36 eggs. I nearly fell off the guerney when the embryologist told us that. I guess all the delays in the ER did some serious magic.

This morning, got the fertilization report. Of the 36, they were able to do ICSI on 29, and 24 fertilized normally. We've been placed in the PGD arm of the study, so no fresh transfer for me. I guess it's worth waiting another month if it gives us that much more info on which of our maybe babies will stick!

So I get a month or so off - I'm planning on doing lots of exercise and having the occasional coffee and glass of wine during that timeframe!

Amanda - I can't see your pic but a line that gets darker almost surely indicates a BFP!!!

JenMink - try not to stress too much about the accident. Our bodies and those embies are very resilient.

Ninde - my cycle is very regular with a few big exceptions like that one. Also, when we first started TTC and I got off BCP, my period didn't come for 5 months! I didn't do a D&C - we induced the m/c with misoprostol.

Rosie - congrats on ER! Keep us posted on the fertilization. That's interesting, I"ve never heard of doing ICSI on only half. Do you know why they went that route?

Julia - I've read that you can get a positive on an HPT 11dp3dt or 9dp5dt. I'm on 12dp3dt and I wanna pee...but then again I don't. Either way I have to go in for beta on Monday.

Blessed - You are a better woman than me - I give you a lot of credit for making it on bed rest. I hope you're getting some good reading and relaxing in this weekend.

Hi guys, haven't posted in a while...

We had a failed cycle back in June and were a little down. Only 3 eggs were retrieved and none of the embryos made it

Well, we tried a FET just now with 5 days blast from our first cycle. Had first blood test on Tuesday (8 days after a 5dt) and hade a Beta of 146! BFP!!! Second Beta yesterday (thursday) was 284! So far so good. Keeping fingers crossed. Next blood test will be on Tuesday, the 7th...

All I can say is stay patient, relax and believe because this can work for you even after failures!
