Sassy.....well done!!! 18 eggies sounds fab!!!!!!!!!!!, and well done on the blue sparkly toes too

Angie.....I agree with you, I am starting to go crazy, almost like the last week of the 2ww, waiting for the scan is terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, and the worst thing is I wish I had the scan later, because I don't want not to see a HB and freak out only because it was too early, you understand????? . As far as symptoms, my bb's are not sore, they are a bit bigger though, but not sore, and I am terribly sleepy!!!!!!!!!!, and hungry!!!!!!

Meg....glad to hear you could take a shower  . Please send us pics of Lucy as a duck, I am dying to see her in her little costume!!!. About being a valued contributor, just keep chatting like crazy and you will earn the "big chatty mouth" degree too

Jenn....that shopping trip sounds great!!!!!, can I join you girls??????? . Where are you guys going?.

Fee......I am dying to know how you and Nogs are doing!!!, please come back to the sistas!!!!!!!!

I only have a minute as dh is in the shower before we head over to my sisters to see the whole fam damily. We flew to Denver last night. Not the brightest idea I have ever had considering I was uber-tender still from ER... but it isn't very often my brothers and sisters and their kids are all in the same place. I didn't want to miss all the chaos  .

Vicky and Angie: I can't imagine how anxious you must both be to get the first ultrasound glimpses of the babies! Not long now... but I'll bet it feels like forever.

Meg: I would love to see pictures of the little duck!

Amy: detox, huh? Was the stuff horrible? The idea of using herbs while cycling makes me nervous, but if I used them before I start up again...

Jenn: hope you did some serious power-shopping with the girls. What'd you get? huh? huh?

Robbo: Antral follicles are the small follicles (I think they are around 2-5mm) that they count at the baseline US. They are essentially immature follicles that with the stimulation can grow into the mature follicles. I think the number is also used to give an idea of ovarian reserve.

Fee: Any news? Huh? Huh?

Fert report was fabulous. We now have 14 more 2pn frosties to add to the 18 from the last 2 retrievals. I think I will wait until after the holidays to do the thaw. It would be nice to enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas without worrying about appts and taking meds multiple times a day. Plus, I have managed to gain 10 lbs in the last year and I would love to get it off before getting pregnant  . I have been thinking more about the Viet Nam trip. Problem is, I think if we wait until April to do the thaw we will have to pay for the FET. If we do it before March it comes with the package we already paid for. So now I have to go back and check exactly when we started the Mega-cycle.

Hello all! Looks like we are still conducting a full-blown Nogs watch still! Hopefully we will hear something soon!

As for me, we went to the doc on Friday, had the date with the dildocam and thankfully - all looked good! So, I start my lupron injections next week! Fun, fun, fun. ER is set for around Nov 26th! Right after I conduct a full-fledged Thanksgiving feast!!!

Sassy - Great job on the ER! I really, really hope we get a good pull from ours in a few weeks! We went ahead and paid the extra $1,000 for the ICSI because I am just paranoid of having all these eggs and then nothing fertilizing. I have no idea why that freaks me out and why I worry about it, but then again it appears we all worry about crazy stuff on this site, huh? :D

Jenn - How fun for you! I need a girl's shopping trip weekend. Of course, with the huge check I had to cough up yesterday for the IVF, I better lay low for a while. :(

Meg - Ok, I have got to see the duck costume. That sounds so cute!!

Vicky - when is your next appt? I don't blame you for being worried. I think it is natural! I bet you won't begin to relax for a few more months. I also bet you have nothing to worry about and after all the waiting, you are going to have wonderful pregnancy...and I am predicting it is a girl! :)

Angie - when is your appt? How far along are you at this point?? I am so happy for you and Vicky. You two are going to be my inspiration!

Robbo - I can't believe you come all the way to SA for your treatments!! How far is the drive? Do you stay in town? I go to Dr. Martin & Neal at the Fertility Center of SA - they are wonderful! Their success rate seems very good. With my age (36 - almost 37!), they give it a little greater than 50% chance. Let's hope that is good enough! :D

Ok ladies, I am off to finish cleaning closets out!! I know, what a thrilling life....

Hi Tina O - sounds like you are right on track and you are very game on to have ER and entertain at thanksgiving too - good for you. I am planning to lie low for the next few weeks and avoid all public engagements (listen to me - I sound like the Queen!) - main reason being my hair is a disaster with all my grey roots showing and I am a bit nervous about having dye put on them, at least for a little while. (At least when I went to the races at the weekend I could cover them up with my new hat!!)

Mind you if I am lucky enough for this pregnany to thrive, there is no way I can wait too long for a roots touch up - don't want to look like a pregnant grey haired grandma.

Sassy - amazing numbers. Are you ready for 6 children :D - I reckon you are heading that way?! Definitely agree that it's a good idea to have a break before thaw cycle - they are safe and not going anywhere.

Jenn - hope your shopping was fun - AGAIN - you are always shopping girl. Any good purchases to tell the sistas about.

Fee - anxiously awaiting your news - can't wait to hear all about nogs.

Amy - glad you are still getting benefits from the acupuncture. I am going weekly - I really don't enjoy it at all - I get very bored and tired lying on the uncomfortable bed she has but have to give her some credit for my current situation so I'll stop moaning.

Vicky - Thursday scan eh? Still 2 days earlier than me. I honestly don't know how I'm going to wait that long. It is much worse than the 2ww!

Hi to all the other sistas. Better so some work - Monday morning here.

Hello sistas!

I am back from the shopping trip to Canton, TX. It was great!!! I was so overwhelmed that I need to go back b/c I didn't get a lot. We had a lot of fun eating junk food and staying up till early morning gossiping.

I got some hand made bibs, and Fancy Panies for my little girl. Her initials are on the rump. Too cute! I also got a ton of Chritsmas decorations and stuff to hang in my house. Mostly I just stood in awe of it all. TONS of people!

Vicky- your scan is at the end of the week right? I can't wait! I know what you mean about wanting MS. I wanted it and then in the moments I had it I was like "uh, just go away, I feel awful" But then it would go away and I would want it back. Crazy! Now that I feel her move it is much better.

Sassy- way to go on ER!! The holidays will fly by and you will be thawing before you know it! How was the visit with all of your family? I love big family chaos!

Tina- Way to go on starting injections! Bet you never thought you'd hear that from anyone! :) Time will fly during injections. It always did for me. Before you know it your on a table for ER and ET!

Fee- hope you are doing well. Thinking of you and can't wait to hear about Nogs.

Well, I need to do laundry but that is all. When I came home last night my kitchen was torn apart. Apparently the faucet leaked under the cabinet and flooded out all my cleaning supplies. Bummer! Can't cook in a kitchen with no water. :D We are going to pick a new faucet tonight. Gee, I just don't know when I'll get around to buying new cleaning supplies...

Helloooo?? Anyone there?

I had an ultrasound this morning. She weighs 2.4 pounds approximatley, which is strange because I have gained 15 pounds so far. I was just sure she must be at least ten pounds by now! They did say it was an approximate weight so they could be off by 8 pounds right??

Hope everyone is doing well! I'll check back later.
Jenn

Jenn- don't put much trust into what they think she weighs. One week before dd was born they told me she was 8.5lbs. Which I was scared to death about. However, when she was born she was only 5 lbs 11 ounces. Quite a difference. My neighbor was the same way. She was told almost 10 pounds and her little one was a littel over 6 pounds. Don't worry, I am sure everything is okay.

Hi Jenn - well done on your scan - I have no idea about weights but sounds good to me.

Well girls this has been the longest week EVER - I am not joking - it is still only THursday and I STILL have 2 days before my scan.

I am feeling a bit calmer. I have sore bbs, a bit bloated and keep getting hungry. My mind is playing tricks on me - sometimes I feel really pregnant and I'm convinced its twins and sometimes I feel nothing at all.

Last night me and DH went on a date - a pizza and a film. It was nice . I needed to get out of the house in the evening - was going crazy. He has been working so hard on the new house and I'd been at home all week with just the internet for company so I just kept googling stupid things about pregnancy complications - I am so stupid.

Anyway we saw A Mighty Heart - anyone seen it? I must say Angelina was great in it - but what a sad story. Makes you grateful for your own life when you see the sadness that some people have to go through.

Hope all the sistas are doing well.

Fee - we need a Noggs update.

Angie- my first and only symptom for a while was being hungry all the time!! Then the morning sickness kicked in. Now I don't have much of an appetite. Not sure why. Can't wait to hear about your scan!!

Hi girls!!!!!!!!!!!

Jenn....congratulations on your scan!!, I don't think you should worry about the weight, unless your OB is concerned about it, which I doubt.

Angie.....I forbid you to keep looking at crazy stuff at the internet!!!!!!!!

Well girls, I had my scan today and guess what...........I SAW THE HEARTBEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D , me and DH were the happiest people ever when we saw it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. We are going back next Thursday for a follow up scan and if everything goes well we might graduate from RE!!!!!!!

How's everybody else doing????

Vicky! That's so great that the heartbeat was visible--what a relief, huh?! That was the moment that really brought it home for my DH---he cried like a, well, like a baby! So, how far along are you? Hope you're feeling okay.

Angie--hang in there. I'd like to say the waiting gets easier, but as mentioned earlier it is such a crazy time. The worry combined with hope makes for a crazy combo of emotions! I wouldn't worry too much about coloring your hair--I colored mine several times throughout the pregnancy and was fine.

Fee---We're dying here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope things are well and you just haven't posted yet because of the lack of sleep!

I'm doing good. We've put some new pics online--my dh is doing more this afternoon (including the duck photos!) www.godutchgo.com

Vicky!!!!! YEAH!!!!! So happy for you!!!! That is wonderful!!! I know you were really wanting to hear the heartbeat - that is so awesome!!!! :D :D :D

Ok, so is anyone else starting to worry about Fee?? Hopefully everything went great!

Angie - How far along are you now? I don't know why, but I am feeling really positive about going through this. I just feel like it is going to work for us! :) Now, I am a little nervous about the ER. Does it hurt? How do you feel afterwards? I hope you are having twins - wouldn't that be amazing??? Oh - and we saw A Mighty Heart also. Amazing film. It really does make you look at your own life and realize how lucky we are, you know?

Hope everyone is doing well! I am on Day 3 of the Lupron shots! :P

Tina--I feel terrible, I haven't even welcomed you to the Sisterhood. So, a big welcome. It's scary doing the drugs for the first time, huh? I remember when Dh had to stick a needle into me that first time--it took him 45 minutes to build up the courage. I never did Lupron, so I don't know what that's like. Are you having side effects? As for ER, it's not bad at all. Seriously, it's a piece of cake. I don't remember any pain at all---but it was last November that I did it, so maybe I'm not remembering everything! I do have a very low tolerance for pain, however, so I'm sure if it was bad, I'd remember!!!!!!!!!

Hi, Meg! Thank you! I feel like I already know you and Lucy (I just checked out your pics!). Lucy is sooooo cute. I mean, really, really cute! You must be quite the proud mama!! :D

I am pretty good with managing the side effects. I got pretty used to the Menopur and Follistim during my IUI's. I had one major emotional breakdown after my college roommate got pregnant less than 30 days after they got married. I blame that ridiculous crying fit on the hormones!! I really am not a moody, emotional kind of woman. Other than that, I don't seem to have any side effects from the drugs. They work well with me and my follicles seem to take off pretty well. Now, I just need a BFP!!! Reading Angie and Vicky's stories have helped. I just feel really positive going into this! I am just so ready for this. I hated the IUI's - just such little chance of success. Thanks for the thoughts on the ER - I have a very low tolerance for pain. Glad to know it was easy for you! :) Oh - and I had to laugh about your story with your husband and the first shot. Ours was a MESS!!!! My husband was so stressed out and just kept standing there changing from one foot to the other staring at me with the needle in his hand. He was so stressed about hurting me!!! He finally went to stick it in me and freaked out and the needle went flying across the room. I laughed so hard that I cried. It was such a disaster. We finally figured it out - thankfully!!! :D
