Hope- I am so sorry. I haven't posted since my BFN, but I have been a silent cheerleader. Again I am so SORRY. Big HUGS!

Lou- I am so darn excited for you. :P

AFM: It has taken my a few weeks to feel like posting. We have our WTF appointment with our RE next Tuesday. We did go to Vanderbilt today and had an appointment with an RE who doesn't do IVFs anymore but has plenty of experience. He told us not to give up on IVF. He said he would not go to donor egg just yet. He said we need to change protocols and if our RE doesn't want to do that than we should go else where. He said even though we don't get many eggs we still had 4 embryos last cycle and 4 on the second cycle. I really like him. I wish he was still doing IVFs, but at least he was positive and gave us hope. That is all I could ask for at this point. I still don't know where we will get the money for another cycle but after today I feel hopefully :)

Thank you, Hope, Longtime, LostGirl, Sunshine, Katieb and Lou! Thank you guys for all the encouragement!

Now I am just feeling exhausted and somewhat relieved. I've been through the whole range of emotions over the last few days from crying to hopeful to crying and back to hopeful. You know how it is :) So now i am just relieved it is not negative. And I am looking forward to monday and hoping for a nice rise.

LYD.. you never know when you implanted, so I am sure it is a perfectly good number. I bet something will come up on a hpt now. Good luck on Monday!

Hope... so sorry about the decreasing number. It really sucks... I wish there was something one of us could do.. {{hugs}}

Anton - blood test today! When do you get your results?

Tammy - where the heck is AF?

Kynlee - March is sssooooo soon! I can't believe you start stimming soon!

Katie - they moved your FET by one day? weird. Doctor's schedule? How is it going? Have you started the estrogen again? Is your lining looking better?

Sunshine 1576 - wow, your lap surgery next week. Fingers crossed that it goes really well

longtime - congrats on being PUPO! I too hate the choice of transferring on d3, or waiting to d5 and risking not having any to transfer. Now your embryos are safe and sound. Will you be growing the other 4 to day 5 before freezing or are they already frozen at day 3?

Ashley - u/s today! yay! Let us know how it goes!

Samantha - it's probably still too early for a BFP on a HPT. I'm still getting BFNs.... I'm hoping that second line starts showing up soon!

Carol - sorry AF come, but yay for starting a full injectibles cycle! (btw, I think you wrote your signature wrong.... yesterday was Feb 24, not Jan 24). I agree that it's gross to have the u/s while having my period, but I guess that's her job!

Lou - yeah... I know I'm too early. But I always hope I'll be one of those who gets a really early BFP. Guess not.

Hope this works M - I'm so sorry. Is it possible that you lost a twin? When is your next beta? Chemical pregnancies are awful. Your hopes are so high only to be crushed so soon. Big hugs

deftonesmo - congrats on the 9 eggs! Feel better!

AFM - POAS with FMU this morning. I think it's a BFN (although my eyes seriously play tricks on me -- http://canyouseealine.com/view_home_pre ... stID=10699). I know that I'm too early. Even cycles when I've been pregnant, I've gotten a BFN on 10dpo.... Hopefully Sunday will give me my BFP....

Thanks for all the support with the bus stop analogy. Any other analogies people use to explain this hell?

Hi ladies...just wanted to check in.

I had my ET on 2/19 and I've been trying to occupy my mind with something else since the transfer including running from this board. But I had to check on everyone to see how things are going.

Hopethisworksm--I'm soooo sorry!!! Take time to recover mentally and emotionally.

LYD10--congrats and try to take it easy. Your numbers will surely rise.

AFM-I haven't slept an entire night since the transfer. I've read about this 2 week wait but OH MYLANTA, I think I'm going coo-coo. WHEN CAN I POAS?!?!?!? And which sticks? Tammy, I tried to attend your online POAS class but I may have to print out those directions to make sure I get it right. This is crazy!!! Any advice for avoiding crazytown because I'm on my way there.

Leora...I "thought" maybe I could see something yesterday and I definitely "think" I can see something stronger today. What happens when you hold it up to the light?

Evaporation lines are very rare and have no color. In my Oct negative cycle...there was nothing there at all when held to the light. In my Nov and Jan cycles with my very low chemicals...there was a line with holding it to the light and they were positive betas. It really does work.

Justsolost...I understand just wanting to keep busy during the 2ww without dwelling on IVF stuff...I did the same thing. Online poas classes are available every day. lol

LYD...WOOHOOO!!! I KNEW IT!!! CONGRATS!!! I fell asleep last night while refreshing the page and missed your news till this morning. Take it easy this weekend...no swinging from the chandeliers and skydiving! lol Your numbers are okay at this stage...so no worries there. Praying for huge numbers on Monday.

Ashley...Cant wait to hear all about your u/s today! Good Luck!

Amanda...It's really good to see you...I know how much you are hurting, and I'm sorry. I'm glad that your doc gave you great advice to go into your wtf appt on Tuesday. I completely agree with him. Good Luck and be sure to tell us on Tuesday what the new plan is. We miss you! Oh, and by the way...I saw your hair pic on FB...and wanted to tell you that I just LOVE your new red do...soo cute on you!

Katieb...Not naive at all...I have been wondering the same thing. I even almost poas yesterday. lol Could you imagine?! But, honestly...it would defy all logic and science at this point and would be a true miracle if I were still pregnant...although, I do believe in miracles. So why not me? If AF doesnt show soon...I will use my last pee stick.

Deftonesmo...Keep us posted on the fert report today.

Longtimerivf...Relax and read a good book.

AFM: This is sooo weird for me. Seriously...I have never had this problem, ever. AF is still not here and no sight of her either. I have a feeling that my body is trying to tell me that it is whacked out from that extra strength boost of estrogen that we did trying to save my baby...and that maybe it is a good idea for a 25 day break when this AF finally gets here. Heck, after the Sept miscarriage...AF showed up 19 days later...so it's really not that far away...but I am so impatient and ready to go again. Ugh.

Qita- Thank you so much for seeing my BFP too!! :D :D It means so much to me that orther people too see my BFP!! I am receiving good vibes here!...sorry about the FET issue in your country :x I wish this time works so you dont have to worry about such issues or ivf in general! You will get your BFP wayyyyy before summer!!! :D Image

Wannabeamum- Be patience my friend! and dont mess up your PMA!! its too early for a second line anyway!! Hang in there!!! I am crossing my fingers for you!!! :) Image

A few more days and you will see her!!!! PMA! PMA! PMA! ...why don't you bake some cinnamon cookies to get your self distructed!! :D Image

AFM- Me & DH we went for the blood test today and we will get the results on Monday at 5pm at the appt with my RE. The test is called L.A.D. and here's what I found about it: "Many couples experience multiple miscarriages or unexplained pregnancy loss when trying to become pregnant. If you and your partner are having difficulties becoming pregnant, it may be important to participate in various different fertility tests. The Leukocyte Antibody Detection (LAD) test can sometimes offer information on why you may be having fertility issues.
What are Leukocyte Antibodies?
Leukocyte antibodies are cells found in your body that attack leukocytes. Leukocytes are commonly referred to as white blood cells. Found in your blood, bone marrow, and lymph tissues, they are responsible for attacking foreign bacteria and other invaders that enter your body. During pregnancy, leukocytes can sometimes attack the cells of your fetus. In order to protect your baby and maintain your pregnancy, your body creates antibodies to these leukocytes. Every pregnant woman should test positive for a certain level of leukocyte antibodies
."
SO, on Monday we shall see what happened! and finally we will get some answers on the gene shots etc. ....and now the ugly part!...this L.A.D test costs us 440 USD! can you believe it! all these money for a test! the nurse told us that becides the fact that this is a very specialized test, there are only 2 labs in Cyprus that have the "tools" to perform such a test!!!...All these genetic tests cost a fortune!!! **** me!! I hope this works and this is IT!!!!!! :D Now I am anxious for Monday's appt with my RE!!! :D I really feel things are going to be just fine! And we are going to hear some good news! :D You guys keep your fingers crossed for me! :D

Hopeisall- Sorry my dear. Don’t give up the pma yet. It just might be a disappearing twin.
Tammy- Girl I know that feeling when AF refuses to show up. Will keep dancing the AF dance for you. Or better still maybe one of the 4 embies was a late inplanter and its going to surprise you. Oh you keep talking of facebook. Maybe I can join you guys there to ? oh wait then I will be exposed and the few will know what celeb I am.
Lyd10-Congratuylations my dear. Let that beta double now.
Amanda-welcome back. Finances are always a challenge but somehow things will work out if you are determined. Keep up the pma.
CjinNC- I hate baselines as well. It just feels gross them all in your privates and all the mess. Oh well like someone said that is what they are paid to do. But they should invent a better method for baselines. Now start shoting those meds and let those follies begin to grow. You will soon be pupo
Leorira- maybe I just wanted to see a line yestereday. But girl you know its still too early for you. We are still in the bus together. Keep peeing my dear.
Sdtrying- how is vacation lady doing?
Anton-poor thing. I feel your pain but all for a good cause. Fingers crossed it worked and you will be joining us all on the journey again.
Rio- did you watch greys anatomy yesterday/ sad meredith has to stop her fertility treatment coz she is going blind due to the meds.
Those I left our sorry you are still remembered and prayed for daily for success.
AFM this cycle has been very strange. First I responded to fast on the meds. Then now since Monday my boobs have been full and hurt. I have been cramping here and there I know it’s the progesterone supps. But why do my boobs hurt so much. I have taken ovidril every cycle and never felt this way. Or did they change the strength in the package? Lool. Then last night I dreamt I was pregnant. This 2ww sucks big time.

Thanks so much, SD, Tammy, Leora, Anton, Nwquiz, Justsolost and Carol. Thank you for your well wishes!

Yes Tammy - I am really happy you are able to tell me "i told you so" :)

Carol - i think you are right i think it probably implanted very late - because i didnt feel anything around the normal implantation time.

I finally took the HPT this morning - the one and only one i had - and it was a very faint positive. i am not sure what brand it was. my DH and I picked up a box in december while on road trip - it was a store brand frer knock off.

Leora - please dont despair yet - my beta was only 20 on 13dpo - and that's in blood - so i dont think i could have seen it on hpt in pee.

i am still just relieved it wasnt a negative. i am still not really celebrating a positive. let's see what Monday will bring.

LYD, we will celebrate a positive for you! LOL

Leora... Sunday, you will get your bfp!

Tammy.. sorry af is being so elusive. I'm sure the hormones have definitely scared her away. I think all that extra estrogen I would have bit my husbands head off. You know how they say women get bitchy from PMS, just before AF? For me it is right before ovulation - when I get my estrogen surge just before the LH surge. I am just angry at the world - inconsolable - and DH and I always have an argument just before O day. With PMS I just want to cry all the time - at everything.. commercials, songs, my shoelaces coming untied. I'm a hormonal mess.

Hopeis AllIhave... good luck on u/s today!

AFM... went in for my baseline this am. So for it has been an awful day. I worked until late last night, couldn't sleep because I couldn't breathe - horrible head cold and can barely talk. Then I make it into the RE's office late because of work, they say empty my bladder and as soon as I sit down bloody clots! I couldn't stop gushing. I clean up as best I can and go sit on the table. I figure, okay I see the same female tech everytime and she will understand. Then the door opens and along with her come this gorgeous RE intern who decides he is going to hold "the wand". Really? I feel like crap and am doing everything I can to not stare at this guy from over the sheet that is barely covering my hairy legs. Then GUSH! By the time they were done it looked like a murder crime scene in there. All over the table, floor... poor nurse had to do major cleanup and all I can do is apologize in what little voice I have able to speak. UGHH!!! I really need to start documenting all of these experiences to share with this child (assuming I get pregnant) so he/she knows what hell I went through! LOL

Long story short... no cysts, plenty of eggs (but no count) and I start injectables tomorrow night.

Carol - your story is hilarious! i am sure it didt feel that way when you were lying there thought. well that RE in training better find out sooner or later this is what its like.

i wonder why we dont have more women REs? Do you guys ever think what you would do for a job if you had to do it over again? lately i've been thinking i would love to be an RE or a really good embryologist. i think that would be so gratifying to make such a huge change in people's lives.

CJ ---- LOLOLOL.... OMG.... your story is sooooo funny!!!! I can totally picture this too. Believe me, although that exact scenario has not happened to me, I've had my own share of "embarrassing moments" as I'm sure all the girls have. I just say to myself... "it is what it is" and go with it. I joke with my RE that if he ever sees me in the grocery store, I'll have to take my pants off and lay down with my legs in the air for him to recognize me! Anyways, I'm glad your ovaries looked good.

nwquiz -- Hang in there hun. I know the 2ww isn't fun, but I just like to imagine that it's possible that I am pregnant as long as possible. You'll get through it. Once you get your BFP, the 2ww for the u/s is even worse! Even right now, I'm not convinced I'm pregnant. I mean... I know it didn't fall out but I just don't feel much at all.

LYD -- Congrats again! I can't wait for Monday.

Leora -- How are you holding up? I believe you'll get your BFP, with an obvious 2nd line, by Sunday.

Tiger -- I'm thinking of you and sending you BFP vibes!

Anton -- I'm praying that the tests you're doing will be exactly what you need to get your BFP. It's just gotta work!

Tammy -- My feet are seriously tired from dancing for you. Any sign of the witch yet?

justsolost-- I think you can join Leora as co-Mayor of Crazy Town. Honestly, I wouldn't POAS until 12-13 days post retrieval unless seeing a possible false negative won't upset you. But it does to me.

Amanda1979 -- Thank you so much! I wish I could feel excitement but right now I'm just plain scared. I'm so glad your doc was positive and gave you hope. It is most definitely possible that you can get pregnant.

AFM -- I feel good. Too good. Worrisome good. Ugh. I hate being this worried all the time. It's like I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop. I am having a real hard time being happy that I'm pregnant. I mean, of course I'm happy, but I keep thinking about how horrible it will be if I lose it. I'm sure I'll relax a bit when I get past week 12, but that seems forever away.

Lou.. I'd like to say the worrying will go away at 12 weeks, but it won't. You will be worrying for the next 20+ years... but ENJOY it! Its going to be an awesome ride! LMAO at your grocery store comment! I would dread running into any of my docs at a store. Come to think about it, I never have... what do they do when they are not working? Do they ever leave the house or are they just as terrified of running into us? LOL

Oh, and the comment about why do men become OB/GYNs and REs? A long time ago I was asked to go to a stip club with a bunch of guy friends.. I told him why should I pay $$$ to see other women's tits when I can check mine out all day long if I want? I think most women think "really? I've been dealing with this crap since I was 12, I don't need to check out another woman's private parts!" But to guys its like "Hey, dude.. guess what I do for a living?" At least, maybe in the beginning, then after a while I am SURE it loses its charm! HAHA! I swear when I saw the intern take the bloody condom off the wand he gagged alittle! Sorry about the TMI... I wonder if he will be switching to orthopeadics next week?
