Funny...my Dh hit a blood vessel for the first time last night also. He was so upset. He was hugging me saying he was so sorry, he could tell putting it in, it was not right. I wa just like, whatever stick it in again before my ice wears off. My new nickname is the Pincusion.

Question - any success stories of later fertilization? And what does it mean when someone says it's chemical?

Tonyacheek24 ; i had spotting when i had 1 st ivf with fresh still i didt get it ,, my question spotting is good or not i m just asking becoz i m so confussed right now I have no idea what should i do different so i can get bfp too .

So I went today for baseline u/s and bw. I didnt get a period, just some spotting so RE said lining is thin and we just need to see what the bw shows. I may be delayed a day or two if AF shows up.

Syanna-- a chemical is a pregnancy that is positive by bw but it is lost before a confirmation by u/s. Usually it will be a low beta that may rise slightly and then drop again. CT Michele had a late implanter with her daughter. Her beta was only 44 and she is over a year old now!

Syanna- As Neffi said, my beautiful daughter was a late implanter. I did not see a super faint line on those evil pee sticks until the afternoon of 10dp3dt (and when I say faint, I mean super squinty eyed, turn the stick in the right light faint!). 2 days later at beta (12dp3dt) my beta was only a 44. I know she implanted late because she measured about 4 days small the entire pregnancy. So there is still hope.

I think this last one was a chemical for me, even though RE has not said it yet. My betas were 5 (13dp3dt), 15 (15dp3dt), 32 (17dp3dt) and then dropped to 15 (20dp3dt). It seems as though I implanted very very late, it increased for a week and then I lost it.

Just keep your head up, I know it is hard when all you want to see is that stupid second line, but trust me from personal experience and from being a part of these boards for a long time, it's still very possible. I will keep everything crossed for you.

Thank you guys. Yes I do still have hope. Is late implanters the same as later fertilizers tho? Because my eggs didnt fertilize at the time it suppose to. Dr said IVF fails 50% of the time because of eggs being fertilized late.

Jayden - its okay, at least u saw a very faint line. Those sticks are bad! I want my pregnant sis-in-law to pee on them so bad just so the 2nd line will be forced out. What now stick...what now!!

to have fun-- yes, we are trying one more time with my eggs becasue we have insurance coverage and we cannot afford egg donor cycles. Embryo donation will be our next step if this doesnt work. We are changing a couple things this cycle so I hope it works!

BEI- I'm Sorry I'm just reading this, when I had spotting, it wasn't regular spotting, it was like a pinkish and then it turned dark brown and never came back. Kind of like a tear drop. I was nervous this time because I dind't see spotting at first, but I went to the bathroom wiped myself, and then it was pinkish, wiped my self again, and it was light brown, and then it never came back. I can't tell you what to do differently because this process is really out of our hands. I just say continue to pray and just wait on god. Not everyone experiences spotting or you might get that one spot and don't even notice it.

I do have a question. My beta was 488. the nurse told me they can't tell how many it is until I have my ultrasound. I thought twin numbers were in the thousands. Has anyone had a number like mines and had twins?

bei- One more thing, I didn't see the spotting until like a couple of days before my test so if you don't spot early it does not mean anything. Like I said, some people don't spot at all.

Ladies- OMG, I just went through this thread and I guess you answered my question, I thought 488 was low but now that I'm reading some of these post! 488 seems mighty high! I only transfered two. LORD JESUS hahhahahhahah I'm going to need to strength hahahahhaha

Tonya-yes that is on the higher side...but you never know. Most of the time the numbers cannot say whats in your belly. GO to betabase.info. When is your next beta? Mine is tomorrow. Doubling dust to you (and me)!

AFM-just trying to learn as much as I can about baby stuff. I joined babycenter.com....and I cant believe how many of these women out there gripe about not getting a BFP after 1 or 2 natural cycles. If they only knew....

My second beta is monday. Let me ask you this, do you feel movement? I do all the time, flutters I guess. My nurse said that's not uncommon. They won't give me a due date until I have my sono. Can't wait to have that

Hey I was just telling a few people i don't have any mornign sickness other than feeling like my mouth is dry and taste buds are wayyyy off, but then i read on line and they said that morning sickness normally won't happen until around 6 weeks. I'm like here we go hahaha
