hey vicky, would you have a glass of wine for me too? I'm really craving a new wine I tried a couple of months ago. It was peach flavored, delicious, can't remember the name of it (at Olive Garden). You should try it, it is WONDERFUL!

Jovi - don't worry about measuring 6 wks 4 days - - at my first ultrasound, I was supposed to be 7 weeks, 2 days and I was only measuring 6 weeks, 5 days. By the next week, I'd almost caught up, and a week after that, I was ahead of schedule. My RE said +/- 1 week is fine. The ultrasound tech today said +/- 5 days is fine and another doctor I've seen on another board said +/- 3 or 4 days is fine. So.....you were well within all 3 of these opinions, so try not to worry. Every ultrasound is so stressful, but hopefully with each one you'll start to feel more confident (I probably needed to take some of my own advice this morning!) And, the fact that there was already a heart beat before 7 weeks is a great sign!

Vicky - good for you - eat some sushi for me. I haven't wanted any wine at all, but I have missed the sushi! I'm so happy that you're getting to enjoy yourself and I'm sure you'll meet back up with us in preggo land soon.

I had the NT scan today - and everything looked really good. The fluid measured less than 2 (I think it's 2 mm) on both measurements (one was 1.0 and the other was 1.6). The tech and the doctor both commented that they thought it looked great and it was a good sign that everything is fine. I was measuring at 12 weeks, 2 days....so the little one is growing right along and he/she was waving and doing little flips at us. They had a huge screen above us so we could see everything - truly amazing. I think I'm (finally) starting to get less nervous. I get the final result in a week (they combine the scan results with a blood test they run) and the perinatologist said these tests predict trisomy 18 and 21 to 85% accuracy. Then, in a month, I have a second blood test which he said will then predict to 95% accuracy. If both turn out good, I can avoid the amnio, which makes me and dh very relieved. Even though he said the chance of a m/c with amnio is only 1 in 1600, it still scared me to even consider it.

Well....I guess that's a long enough update here....

Take care!

Meg: I know it' nervewracking with the u/s but some develop later than others. At 6 weeks we only saw a very faint h/b with one baby and none with the others. Then, at the 7th week, they were all beating over 140...sometimes a week is all it takes!! Can't wait to you hear a strong h/b next week!!

Vicky: Good for you enjoying sushi!! That is the one thing I still miss. I went out with some friends and got cooked stuff and it was dissapointing. I really miss tuna with avocado!

Suzhan: Congrats on your NS today!!! That's wonderful!!! Wow, you're waiting to hear the gender til birth? I couldn't wait, I am dying to know!!! By the way, what is m/s????

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Thanks, Cinders, that makes me feel better about the heartbeat! I'm trying to take a more practical approach to it this week vs last week. I mean, there's only so much I can control, right? So as long as I'm doing the things I can, I need to leave the rest up to God. I'm trying, anyway!

I think m/s is morning sickness! ?

Hey there! sorry I haven't posted much. Thanks for the good luck wishes. ET went well today. A little painful though because not only was my bladder too full, but my ahem (tmi) bowel was to full. fortunately I was allowed to unleash a little liquid before ET. RE said we transfered 2 good looking "big" blasts. I'm already tired of being in bed and have a crick in my neck from looking at the laptop to the side of me. BTW if you have a laptop, for your bedrest watching YouTube is a great way to pass the time. search for anything, you'll find it. Tomorrow we'll find out how many embies we have to freeze, if any. I'm craving hot oatmeal, I don't know why, I've been eating it like every other day. DH will kill me if he finds out I went downstairs to make some. maybe he will make some for me when he get's home from work. Test day is Feb 4.

Mia - welcome to the 2ww. I'm glad your transfer went well. Did your RE require a full bladder? Mine didn't. I guess they are all different. Just keep positive thoughts while you're resting. Keep imagining those 2 embies snuggling in, getting comfy. About 4 or 5 days after my transfer, I started having implantation pains if I turned in the bed or got up from a sitting position. It felt like I was pulling something in my uterus but only lasted a few seconds each time. Not everybody has them but it is a good sign if you do. How long are you on bedrest?

Hey Hopeful: Congrats on your ET!!!! Just get plenty of rest and try not to get up. I know it's boring. I was bored too! But it will be worth it!! And don't worry if you don't have any preg symptoms...I didn't really have any (sore boobs) and still don't have morning sickness or anything and I'm pregs with 3. Wishing the best for your BFP!!

thanks cinders and jovigal!
I have not had any cramping really and feel totally normal. I had a little twinging, more tickly than crampy. could of been gas for all i know. my boobs were already sore 3 days after starting PIOs, so that's not telling me anything. I do know that my embies were just about to hatch, so implantation would probably of happened within 48 hours after ET, which would of been this AM. I had a BT today which is strange to me because with my other cycles, i didn't have a BT until 3 days after ET and today is day 2. Also I'm pretty sure my RE told me to continue bed rest through today. anyway, i drove across town for my BT this am. they said my schedule is fine, though she seemed confused while counting the days. my pg test is 9dpt and was 10dpt before.:? i came straight home and am back in bed for the rest of the day.

thanks angellica and skidoo! I was pampered while on bedrest. :) but now it's over. DH is sick again today and acting grumpy. oh well. actually... DH made some oatmeal for me this AM, that was nice of him.

Congrats on your ET skidoo! You're testing the day after me. For some reason it seems soon to me, but that's good. I'm drinking lot's of water this time. last 2 times I was so bad about that. helps clean toxins out and keep blood flowing nicely. I hope it makes a difference. sticky baby dust!

Mia & Skidoo - extra extra good luck to you both and hang in there during the 2ww! I'm praying our November board can have a couple more BFP updates for the list! Mia - since you transferred blasts, it means the 2 ww is only 9 days, huh? That's pretty cool! So is your first beta next Sunday (did I do the math right?) My symptoms were all over the board during the 2ww, and even the first week or so post the bfp, so as hard as it is, don't let anything get you down one way or another and just keep visualizing those strong, healthy blasts snuggling in for 9 months!

Cindy - just to answer your ?, m/s is 'morning sickness'....that dreadful stuff that you seemed to be lucky enough to avoid (I'm so jealous!) In all honesty, it's subsided a lot. To be replaced by major bloating and complete loss of my waist line (and thus need to replace my wardrobe, ha, ha.....)

Happy Monday everyone,

Good Morning All-

Good Luck Skidoo & Mia on 2WW.....let them snuggle in and loads of baby dust to you both!

Everyone is moving along do quickly...I've been lurking and watching for all the updated news! So happy for you all and cannot wait to join you all in prego land.

I had to get BW today to ensure everthing has moved through me, I should get an update from the DR later. I had to wait 1 hour for BW, the waiting room was full of women "in cycle" or preg. It was very depressing for me. Don't get me wrong i'm thrilled for anyone who is lucky/fortunate enough to get preg, it was a little hard to be there a week after a D&C and for an hour!
