Hey girlies!!!!
Sonya... Way to go on your ET!!! Now stay in bed and eat ice cream!

CKL....How are you feeling??? What did your first and second betas come back at?? any hint of two itty bitties???

Okay...good news... I AM PREGNANT!!!!!!!
I am a total POAS addict, and watched the trigger leave my hpt's. I was negative for 4 days....then voila! BFP!! The line is getting darker, and I'm now positive on the digitals (50IU) tests. Its very hard for me to get excited, however, cuz we've been down this road before. I need a heartbeat!!!!!!!!
Feeling a ton of pressure in the uterine area, and major low backache, but going to have to wait a few days for those betas!!!
XOXOXO

Courtney that is awesome!!!! I am so happy for you! when do you go for your beta tests? I hope that everything goes well, but if the line is getting darking that means that your hcg is going up which is great! YEA!

For me, all three betas came back quite high - my last one was over 21,000 (eeek!). the nurse is not saying what that could mean either way but she sort of said "well i have seen it before where a woman has numbers that high and only has one in there"...so I am not sure how to interpret that. Regardless, she said that everthing looks really great so i am happy with that. if there are 2, it is a bonus! i guess I will just have to wait until the ultrasound to find out forsure... although, i am quite excited that the blood tests are over with, at least for now.

Sonya...how are you feeling? ice cream sound good....mmmmmmmm

Robyn...step away!!!! HPT's are way too tempting, you only have 2 more days to wait. as for your question to me, the cramping did not get worse, it stayed about the same. like courtney I have had a sore lower back as well...especially if I am in heels or on my feet for a while. just try to keep positive.

CKL: Wow your numbers are really high!

ckl,
I cheated again and did a HPT yesterday. It was faintly positive. So I will keep my fingers crossed that it stays positive! Please keep us in your prayers...

Are you sick at all from that really high level?

Sonya,
I had random pains that weren't really cramping. They started later for me around 4-5dpt.

I did call the RN and she said that spotting pink/brown is okay, as long as it isn't red. She also said that pregnancy symptoms are the same as PMS so the cramping, the back ache, the headache, etc were normal. (Hope that helps?) It made me fell better, at least...

Hi Ladies!

Wanted to say good luck to everyone and bid you guys farewell. I may peek in from time to time to be uplifted by BFPs but it's not likely I'll post.

But we cannot move forward. We cannot afford it, especially in light of needing a donor.

It's a bit painful to back away from this but I have to learn to let it go. I'm working on acceptance.

Again, best wishes to everyone.

Sincerely,

saralee

I am sorry to hear the news that you wont be able to do IVF. I know how much this meant to you. I also know how crazy expensive it is.
My thoughts are with you and dh

Saralee .... we have so much to thank you for .... for starting this thread, and joining us all together. I am so sorry you are not able to move forward at this time ...but please know that where one door closes... a window always opens. Six months ago, IVF wasn't even verbage used in any conversation, because we knew there was just no way that it was financially possible. Then ...somehow ... God paved the way, and opened that window.
I am going to believe the same for you.
Best of Luck in your journey ... and please check in and let us know how you're doing.
XOXOXO

Hello Ladies,

I found this thread a few days ago and finally decided to log in and post my first ever message on any message board. I'm currently in the midst of my 2ww after a FET. My initial IVF cycle ended in a BFN. I'm so proud of how I've learned so many of the acronyms used on these message boards.

Reading your thread I've found a lot of comfort and peace during what could be a very stressful time.

I go in for my test on Tuesday 4/10. I'm trying to stay away from the HPT but I can't make any promises. I've been cramping for a few days now and occasionally feeling sharp pains/cramps in my stomach. My breasts are tender as well. I'm trying not to read too much into this since I am being pumped full of PIO. I'm still prayful that I will get my first ever BFP on April 10, 2007!

Ok, I'll stop rambling now. Looking forward to hearing from you all.

One important thing to the young lady that started this thread. Just know that everything happens for a reason. Even if right now isn't the time for you, your time very well may come. I have to believe that there was a reason my first cycle was not successful, we just weren't ready to be the parents that God intended. You will be in my prayers.

Welcome Sassy...I am glad that you were able to join us and hope all the best for you next week. Do your very best to stay away from the HPT...you don't have much longer to go, just keep yourself busy. It is going to be a crappy weekend....you had better go shopping.

Saralee...I wish you and your DH all the best. Thank you for allyour encouragement through this crazy process. I completely agree with Courtney that when one door closes another opens...and like we all know, sometimes your life just turns out differently than you expected but we all need to accept that and cherish the lives that we do have. Take care...and keep in touch.

Courtney how are you feeling? how many more HPTs have you done? when is the blood test?
