Dear Ladies

I am sorry I am being bad at keeping up with all your news. Busy with work and life in between treatments.

Likely that my cycle will now be pushed back. I need to go to Dubai for work at the start of June for 5/6 days. Cannot turn it down as £ is good. My clinic wants me to be around every day for bloods etc so likely that I will have to wait at least another month to start treatment. So may be can start at the middle of June. They treatment will run through July/August time as they are looking at putting me back on the long protocol again. Trying to take it in my stride............but lots of waiting to be done. In some ways cycling then will be good as work should be less busy/stressful and I shall be able to take a good amount of time off work for EC/ET.

Think therefore that I am best to leave this thread. I shall certainly cheer you all on from the sidelines and hope that there are loads of BFPs for the May/June ladies.

Very best of luck to you all. I shall be keeping an eye on you all!!!

Thanks for your support and kindness.

Lots of Love
Carolyn

Hello everyone! Hope everyone is doing ok and had a good weekend.

Angela-Thanks for the advice, every little bit of advice I have been getting from everyone has helped and I thank god for this site!!!

I went to the doctor this morning for my day 3 bloodwork and my script for bcp. I made it through the first of many needles to come while dh sat and watched smiling telling me that I needed to get tough. ha ha

The nurse said they did not have a schedule for me yet but they would be calling me soon with one. They started me on bcp a month early since I was so irregular. I am so excited to finally start this but I have to admit, I don't think I have been so excited and so nervous all at the same time!

Have a great day!

Well guys the nurse just called and I am to start 150 of Bravelle and 75 of Menopur. I just did the first injection and I mastered it! LOL It was a bit stingy. They had me mix all of them in one syringe. It was better than two separate shots. Very stingy. It is already bruising so I can see how this is going to go. I go in on Friday morning for an U/S (follie checker appt) as I call it. On the road again!

Lee
I understand your pain about being so excited and nervous! It really is a nerve wracking thing to go through. I am so excited and hopeful. My hunny went with me to the apt today and he is such a great source of support. I really do love him so much. I am so thankful for his humor. He is a great guy.

Carolyn
You must pop in and stay in touch with us of course. WE can cheer you on as well when it is your time. It is so important. I do understand about the money issue. I usually do not turn it down either. Good Luck! Stick around or else I might start to cry-being all hormonal and all......

Arizona-
I thought of another great thing to do. Walk bare foot in the sand this summer with your hunny. Draw hearts in the sand with your initials in them! We do this and it feels good on your toes and the soul! Your party sounded fun. I love themed party's. How fun to do a 4th of July celebration! Stars and stripes!!!! I love the colors.

Steph
Yeah I love stabbing myself with needles. This process has made that all better now. I mean at first I was horrified at stabbing myself now I am just like oh give me that and let me do it myself! LOL After a couple of days with the PIO though I get wussy. I like it if dh does those.

hrobinson-
Hope that you are doing well. I know what you mean about AF and usualy not wanting her to come for a visit. Hopefully that will be the last one this year! That is the goal!!! WOOOO HOOOOO

Hello Everyone else-hope that your week is starting out right. I only slept for an hour today as I had to go to the college and figure out my next three years. LOL Talk to you guys later....

Tanya- glad to see you have strarted!! You will be the first of us I think to go for EC. Get some sleep!

Carolyn- sorry to see that you will not be cycling with us, but I can't blame you for taking the work on. Still pop in if you get a chance. We will be watching for you and cheering you on when it is your time!!

My meds come Thurs. That is about all the news I have. DH has injured himself and cannot drive, so I have been taking him to work early, picking him up, waiting on him hand and foot! He takes good care of me when I am cycling so I can't complain.

Have a great day!
Jenn

Hey guys
Down with shot #2!!!! Things are going OK except for it stings so bad when its going in. I mean really bad. I just keep thinking baby...baby...baby. It will all be worth it in the end I sure hope! Not much else happening...hopefully the follies are doing what they are supposed to be doing. GROWING big and juicy!

Jenn
Happy for you that your meds are coming Thursday. I know that I was excited to get them and to look them over and all of that jazz. Moving right along eh? It is a good feeling to feel like you are doing something. Instead of waiting what is what we do best!

Hello Girls....

It is raining like crazy here and I have not been to bed yet!!! Yikes. I have been looking for some wave runners for a few years and I just found a pair of them for a very good price. DH and I are going to talk to the people on Sunday and we are taking them to the lake to try them out! I am so excited...Sorry just a little tidbit of non fertility info. Hopefully I wont be able to ride them this summer if that makes any sense!!!!

On a fertility note. I have decided not to say anything to anyone really. I just dont want to have to tell people it didnt work ya know? You all know how they keep asking all the time. I just dont feel like doing that so i am super glad that I have this site and all of you wonderful ladies!!!

lwalker
Have fun at the races...I just watched that movie!!! I used to go as a young girl. I havent been in a long time.

Arizona
Thanks! You are right. Good way to think about it. Two stabs closer to baby!!! Good thinking. Thank you.

Steph
Thank you so much for your encouragement! I hope that things are going well for you.

Hey!

Tanya- how do you keep quiet about treatment? Help me please!! I wear my emotions on the outside, and blab everything about me to everyone. I can keep other people's secrets, but not my own. I was NOT going to tell anyone this time, and more people now know about this cycle than last one. All my friends at the BBQ this weekend asked me when I was cycling and I just blurted out my buisiness to them all!! I have decided to keep a tight lip from now on...we'll see. I'm not going to say anything unless someone asks me! I don't know what I was thinking. It was SOOOO hard to tell everyone I got a BFN last time. I don't want to go through that again!

Hi Guys,

With regards to telling people - I really wanted to keep it rather quite - but DH has told pretty much everyone. It doesn't bother me to much but if we are trying the natural way we wouldn't tell everyone !!!

I always think a good answer to give people is "we are working on it and I hope in a few months we will have some good news" it keeps poeple off your back for a few months doesn't lie and if they are polite they will respect your privacy unitl you can make an announcement.

Tanya - what fun, my DH is wanting a boat and will spend hours on trademe (like ebay) looking for the perfect deal. All the best in getting them and it is good to hear some non IVF news !!!!

Lee - enjoy the races go #24 !!!!!!

Well ladies have a lovely day

Hey guys....

One more day until I can see how things are progressing along. Lots of follies I hope..

Jenn
I know what you mean about the telling people about the BFN and that is why I didnt want to tell anyone this time and I didn't although I just feel like broadcasting it to everyone I see. I just didnt want to go through that pain again. I told everyone when I did the FET and then it didnt work and then I am left to answer the questions. It made me feel bad. That is where I am coming from but it is sooo hard not to say anything....especially to my mother. It is really difficult.
